The Only Daughter Of Lancaster

The Only Daughter Of Lancaster
Part Eight: Archean

"You really want to go to Arkean? But it's far away" Eli is currently hugging me tightly. Ugh, heavy! The problem is that he's leaning his head against my head. "I'd love to be with you, but I have to go back to the dorm."

"It's okay, Eli. I'm going with Pita and Elle." I answered while letting go, but Eli quickly hugged me again. This way I can only leave.

"Ugh, okay. But please be careful okay?" Eli looked at me straight, his hand pressing on my shoulder slowly. "If anyone bothers you, just kick it!"

Eli is sometimes very barbaric. "Rather than kicking him I'd rather run away."

With that Eli laughed. He hugged me tightly and then kissed the top of my head. "I'll be back this weekend. Don't make trouble, okay?"

"Tell yourself." I said while waving my hands at him.

Eli was twelve, and Alec was fifteen. Both of them were already at the Hugsun academy with different majors. Eli chose politics, while Alec chose sword. Of course both of them were the best students in his class. Ugh, if I go to the Hugsun academy I don't want people to know that they're my brothers.

"Miss, the preparations are done." The ribbon came while giving the robe a white color. My dress today is gold with a white accent.

"We're leaving." I said as I walked towards the main door. From my place the silver-colored horse carriage was waiting. On the outside there are carvings of flowers that spread and the symbol of the Lancaster family. However, of course, the symbol will only be seen using magic.

The horse-drawn carriage drove quickly. This horse carriage is special because it can pass through a special path of magic, so the journey is faster.

"Oh, miss! We're almost there!" Elle said as she looked out the window.

Archean is different from the dense and crowded Plodnavor. If Plodnavor was filled with buildings, the Archeans were filled with meadows. Residential houses are side by side with distances arranged in such a way. Arkean is beautiful, somehow it feels soothing.

"Miss," Pita's call made me wake up from the daydreams. I got off the horse-drawn carriage and walked towards the temple of Celine.

When we arrived, a statue of a woman holding a cane in her right hand was welcomed. The statue may be as tall as seven adults. In his left hand was a blue flame. How could a fire appear in the statue's hands?

"How can there be fire there?" I'm amazed.

"That's another blessing given to this land. The eternal flame that resides in the goddess statue." Elle explained, her hands were adrift while staring at the statue.

"I'll go in first. You can wait here and we'll meet when the sun is overhead." Pamitku and both nodded.

I began to climb each step of the stairs until I reached the main building. A dark brown door welcomed. On the right side was a woman, probably a temple guard because she immediately greeted me with a smile. "Praise the goddess Celine and her descendants." Greet her while giving the crown of flowers on my head.

"I don't think the goddess Celine has any children." I answered and the woman nodded. "Then why do you call his descendants?"

I haven't been able to ask how he knows because my body has been pushed in. It's so weird, why is it empty here? While climbing the stairs, many people came in and out of the temple. I could only hear my footsteps.

In front of me was the same statue, this time as tall as mama. I stepped up, approaching the statue. Like this I see the figure of Lalisa. "Who exactly are you? What does this have to do with Lalisa, as well as Amabel? And who am I really?"

I must be crazy. Talking to himself in front of the statue. My insanity must have continued because I saw the statue flashing. I violently rubbed my eyes. When the miracle happened, light surrounded the statue and then the statue turned into a human! Holy hooch!

It was so surprising that I fell. "You? You alive?"

The woman laughed. Geez, she's like an adult version of Lalisa with a prettier face because it's well groomed. "Stand, Amabel. Neither me nor you have much time."

Still with amazement and fear I stood up. This time I could see his gray eyes approaching white, like mine. Her hair is silver, just like mine. She ... like me.

His hand was outstretched and I welcomed him even though the doubt was still there. Somehow now I'm outside the temple. This is neither Arkena nor Plodnavor, nor any other part of Yerkink. The ground is black without any plants. The people are thin, probably eating less.

"Where is this?" I asked to tighten my grip on his hand.

"It's Arkean when it's still demon-controlled." He replied and we sat on a large rock while looking at the war between the four nobles and the demon army. "It was me fighting the darkness and all I expected was happiness for everyone."

Quickly all rolled around when victory was won by the four nobles. The four young nobles were in the room. There was tension among the three nobles and willingness in Celine's eyes.

"That's when my three best friends fought over me. The joy of the people's happiness makes them blind to make me their wife. But, Amabel all I wanted was to be useful and loved, not contested and used. I'm disappointed, especially since they just want the throne." In front of me is like a show where each picture changes in the order of the story. "I finally chose to merge with nature. I just want to be useful."

"And loved." Added me while looking down. It was so strange that our desires were only loved, but we had to face all these difficulties. "I had to feel suffering and death until I finally felt the love of the Lancaster family. I had to forget about Lalisa to become Amabel and now I have to know about you. Am I really, Celine?"

Celine did not reply, her eyes looking straight ahead. This time we were already in Archean which I saw while in the horse carriage. I could see Pita and Elle talking with a smile. "I, you, and Lalisa are one."

I looked at him, this time he looked at me in the shade. His hand stretched out and touched my forehead. "The bad memories I've been through I'll keep to myself, Amabel. You've been through a lot and I'm just gonna give you my powers."

When his hand was on my forehead the warm feeling spread throughout my body. "One thing you must remember, even though we are one, this life is yours. You're Amabel Rosemary Lancaster without worrying about Lalisa or me. You are who you are now."

I don't know what happens next because my body feels heavy, I can't even open my eyes.
