Episode 22: Operation of mass extermination

Tartarus was currently lying weak, at a time when conditions like this, he dreamed that soon the island they lived on would soon drown.

In that dream, Tartarus saw a destruction where, everyone panicked and casualties fell.

Tartarus got up and told Hijiri his dream.

Aria heard the conversation and said she was willing to help them

Hijiri then called the residents to gather, as well as trying to appeal so as not to panic

"you want to wait for that to happen before you prepare for it?" ask Sora back to them

"building ships..." Tartarus answered that question

The citizens were silent for a moment and discussed, one of them then agreed and the other followed

the shipbuilding operation finally began, everyone began to work and collect materials, aided by Tartarus who used his ability to lift enormous tree trunks.

Sora, Aria, Lelia and the female inhabitants prepared everything the workers needed, including food to eat.

Meanwhile, Hijiri takes care in the defense part of the village so that their project is not disturbed by the arrival of the enemy.

The body of the Grounder A2 itself is a modified Asakami corpse so that its consciousness does not exist.

The movement of the Grounder A2 is much faster than A1, in addition to its smaller body, A2 has a high speed with a more deadly shot.

A2 is launched and lands right in front of the entrance gate to the village, Hijiri summons all the defense forces to prevent Grounder A2 from halting the project.

A2 with crazy speed can make all the defense forces immediately fall, including the Hijiri itself.

The entire village defense force was deployed, there were even many troops from other villages who helped in this defense operation.

Sora, Aria, and Lelia help, but Aria and Lelia find it very difficult to fight back.

Sora is the only one who can keep up with the speed of A2, although the power is stronger.

But Sora also has trouble directing his attacks because the speed of A2 is difficult to follow, let alone A2 powered by The Great Light.

As Sora and A2 continue to chase each other and exchange attacks, Aria and Lelia try to help even though her speed is far below the two.

A2 makes a lucky streak that can be avoided by Sora, Aria and Lelia, the three of them are still struggling to catch up.

A2 with his crazy speed destroying a lot of buildings there, Hijiri did not stay silent with it, he then directs the troops to immediately gather to the ship being worked on to prevent A2 from destroying this ship, while A2 is chased by Sora, Aria and Lelia decide to stop and try to make a backup plan.

Sora continued to launch attack after attack but A2 continued to dodge, while A2 dodged, he also counterattacked.

The exhausted Sora finally started to get angry and using his full speed, he managed to land 1 punch towards A2 and managed to smash his head.

But the A2 head managed to regenerate again

"what the fuck...?" Sora is confused

A2 then smiled and continued to run away.

"i won't let it.." cried Aria and Lelia who had been preparing from behind.

Aria then jumps towards A2 to hit the head, and destroys it with the help of Sora, while Lelia extracts the A2 energy she absorbed as her head regenerates.

After A2's head successfully regenerated, Sora, Aria and Lelia then advanced and smashed A2 right in the chest, Sora who saw that asked her friend to stop.

Aria and Lelia stopped that and asked

"What's up?..."

"i think there's something weird about him..."

"strange?" ask Aria

"Lelia..the energy you extracted earlier, you absorbed it from which part?"

"it looks like the chest"

"it's a trap, neutralize that energy now before we all die here"

"ba.baiik.." with a brick, Lelia agreed.

A2 quickly fled to the project

"we should be here first...Aria, I think we better help Lelia to neutralize that energy before it's too late"

"what's with that energy?"

"when you smashed the chest of the creature.can I see clearly that there is a core in his chest.I guess, the energy absorbed by Lelia is the explosive driving energy" Sora replied.

"so you think.the creature was sent to blow up the village?"

"yes, but since Lelia managed to extract some of that energy, the impact may have been reduced" Sora said as she looked at Lelia who was focusing on neutralizing her energy

"but I think we can use that extracted energy for something more important and useful" Asumi suddenly appeared out of nowhere

"Asumi?.." cried Aria in shock

"forget our present problem, our former problem.I have no intention of it, it's just that I have a duty to fix the time"

"what do you mean?" ask Sora

"if I go alone, maybe you won't want to do it, I'm not angry.I lure you to send me to the past because I know your strength" Asumi replied.

This leaves Aria and Sora shocked, they finally realize that everything is just the result of manipulation.

"so what do you think you're gonna do to help us?...Asumi.." asked Sora.

"my next task is to stop A2, the creature that was, he confronted me earlier.he died and disappeared, I think Zeorus modified his body" Asumi added.

While the A2 glides towards the ship's project and tries to destroy it, when it gets there, Hijiri in Cosmical Break mode pulls it from behind and kicks it firmly.

A2 tries to fight back but Hijiri kicks him once again

Shortly after, Sora and the others came to help

With the tactics Asumi had planned in advance, they started a rescue operation

First of all, Sora will try to buy time by making a barrier on the ship to avoid attacks from both of them hit the ship

Aria will help corner and get A2 away from its target so Hijiri will follow both

Lelia is currently tasked with protecting Hijiri from afar from the shots A2 is about to fire at Hijiri with the aim of defending that form for as long as possible.

As long as Hijiri continues to fight A2, Asumi will wait for the right moment to make the final attack

Hijiri continues to pursue A2 and attack, A2 is certainly very overwhelmed with Hijiri, because the two fight without awareness, so Sora and his friends will find it difficult to carry out the mission as planned.

The fight continued and finally reached the waiting point of Asumi, Asumi who had been waiting for the right moment finally got the moment she was waiting for

When Hijiri and A2 are equally bounced, Asumi then catches A2 and throws it into space, then followed by Sora and his friends who will restrain the movement of Hijiri.

Asumi then jumped into space and prepared to make a final attack, A2 also made a full-power shot and followed by Asumi who also carried out the final attack, the two attacks clashed and produced a huge explosion in space

Not finished there, A2 then tried to land but eventually Asumi kicked the head of A2 and plucked the core in his chest.

A2 falls to the ground and Asumi throws the core into space and destroys it

A2 landed in the middle of a person with a condition of severe damage, the core that had been destroyed by Asumi then exploded and then produced the remaining energy that was finally absorbed by Lelia to be neutralized.

The ship apparently suffered little damage due to an explosion in the air, eventually the ship's repairs were continued by residents

Hijiri who was already conscious was very surprised to see Asumi in front of him.

Sora then explains what really happened and Hijiri finally forgives Asumi

Asumi continues to apologize for using them to carry out her mission

Everyone there is willing to forgive, it looks like Aria is hiding something.

Zeorus, meanwhile, was not disappointed at all by this incident.

Zeorus sat quietly on his throne, thinking of a final stage plan for the destruction of the universe

Zeorus then stood up from his throne and walked without direction, he continued to walk out of nowhere

He looks like he has resigned to the situation, I don't know what makes people as strong as him feel like it

He continued walking and walking, stopping in front of a large gate that inexplicably made Zeorus smile thinly

"I'll use myself for the mother.yes, this is the only way"

Zeorus then reveals a great secret from out there, revealing the existence of a planet-sized creature in space that he gave his name as Selgorus, planet-eating creatures that implant eggs in the form of balls of light as a sign that the planet is food.

The Great Light is the egg of Selgorus

Turning to the story, Zeorus opens a portal to another dimension, where he sees a sleeping Selgorus with a smaller form, Zeorus and heads towards Selgorus.

Selgorus looked at Zeorus and got up and acted like a hungry dog looking at its prey.

"Finally, my affliction will end soon, Selgorus..As your result, I make 1 petition.Rise up and swallow them all" cried Zeorus as he opened his arms and continued to advance toward Selgorus.

Zeorus made himself Selgorus' food in order to make Selgorus awake and free from his shackles

Selgorus then swallowed the body of Zeorus who kept laughing carrying a grudge and great calamity for mankind.

Before it was properly digested in Selgorus' stomach, Zeorus recalled his past memories before becoming the present Zeorus.

Once upon a time, Zeorus was a boy who lived his life in the midst of wars and human greed

The ongoing wars eventually led to severe depression since the death of both parents.

Slowly, Zeorus' vision began to fade before being completely digested by Selgorus

Selgorus then grew out of control, Selgorus returned to his original form as a planet-sized creature

The shackles that held him back finally escaped and made him free, now he went out of his own dimension to swallow whatever he had previously marked.
