THE OWNER OF THE HEART ROOM

THE OWNER OF THE HEART ROOM
20

Nawang's body shook violently holding back the anger that had controlled him.

The look on Halimah's face, her mother-in-law who had been calm suddenly stiffened to see Nawang's trembling body.

The middle-aged woman gently stroked the arm of the daughter-in-law she knew did not say much.

"Why you?" halimah asked confused.

He saw a flash of anger, disappointment, and pain in the eyes of his son-in-law.

Nawang was unable to answer his in-laws question because his mouth was shaking violently withstanding the anger that was about to explode at this time.

"Wang...kamu why?" halimah asked again when she saw him now Nawang slowly took his breath.

His face began to calm.

"I'm not papa, Mom. Sorry, just now I was feeling so dizzy. But it's gone now." lied Nawang.

Halimah smiled happily even though in her heart she did not believe it just like that.

Nawang was obviously very angry.

I don't know which part of his words could ignite the anger of Nawang that he had never seen before.

"So last month wasn't Mom that sick? Deca's in the hospital?" tanya Nawang clarified the news she had just heard from her in-laws.

"Yes. Dimas said all the costs were covered by Dani. You know that, right?" halimah asked quietly and somewhat fearfully.

Nawang nodded.

I-i know.

Of course I know. Even though I just found it.

"Mom...."

"Yes?"

"I apologize in advance that this might offend you. But I beg you to answer honestly?" pinta Nawang.

His voice was almost gone from being swallowed by the tears that almost controlled him.

"Yes. Mom will answer. What's up?" halimah began to worry.

"During this time, as long as Dani was married to me, did she always give Mom monthly money?" asked Nawang while looking at Halimah softly.

He really keeps his voice intonation so as not to effectively accuse or corner his in-laws.

Halima seemed surprised by the question.

And Nawang had expected her in-laws' reaction to be like that.

But right now he wasn't too worried about his in-laws.

What holds his heart at the moment is a huge curiosity about where Wardani's money really is.

"Mom doesn't accept it every month, son. Really am. Sometimes he gives a hundred or two hundred thousand, even then he says you are the nitip." replied Halima softly.

He did not need to feel offended at all by Nawang's question just now.

Halimah even felt that there must be something wrong with her son's behavior in supporting his family.

"Has your husband's salary money never been given to you? Have you been abandoned by your child all this time?" ask Halimah softly.

He took Nawang's hand and held it softly.

He hoped Nawang knew that he was on Nawang's side.

Nawang shook his head slowly.

Deadly he muffled the embers that re-flared in his heart.

And it felt like the coals were now scorching his heart.

It shattered her feelings that had been made more fragile by her own husband.

"Tell me whatever you want to tell Mom, son. I know you're keeping something that makes you sad. All this time I've always wished you happiness with Dani. But it doesn't seem like it's the truth. Did your son hurt you? Hurt your heart?" ask Halimah softly.

Nawang looked down deeply, hiding the tears that had already welled up in his eyes.

But not a word came out of his lips.

And he didn't want to tell his parents-in-law anything.

She didn't want to hurt her in-laws if she told her how their son had treated her all along.

Regardless of the circumstances, Dani is her own choice.

He decided to accept Dani's proposal first, even though he did it to please his late mother.

Nawang's mother was very happy with Wardani and very much hoped that Nawang would marry her.

And when asked if Nawang was in love with Dani, he was never sure of answering 'yes'.

What she did during her marriage was to simply appreciate the institution of marriage.

She did her best as a wife to her husband and mother to her child.

He no longer cares about his own feelings that he has turned off without him knowing.

She was tired of all this time doing all that alone without the slightest bit of appreciation she received from her husband.

And the fact that she heard from her father-in-law's mouth just now further aggravated her heart wound.

Her husband lied to her.

He wasn't honest about where the money was going all along.

During this time Nawang thought Dani financed his mother's life, so Nawang tried to give up his monthly money always suck.

But just now he knew it turned out that all this time Dani was financing the household of Dimas, his sister.

Dimas is unemployed with one child, a year younger than the Stars.

And the other day Dani was going to look for the cost of the RS which he said for his mother turned out to be for Deka, Dimas' son.

It is only fitting that the other day when Dani say goodbye will come home and Nawang intends to come to visit her in-laws, with fierce Dani forbid it.

"Well, you're also going to see me, you can't give me money, right?" dani said at the time.

And that sentence was enough to stab his heart and undo his intention to come home with Dani.

And since then Nawang no longer receive shopping money from her husband.

Dani reasoned that all of his salary he used to pay the debt for the hospital fees.

I don't know why Nawang's wild mind regained control of his heart this time.

Nawang kissed nothing unusual between Dani and Dewi, the wife of Dimas.

Is this really my guess?

Nawang stood up from his seat.

"I'm looking for a star first, Mom?" his farewell to Halimah who was still sitting quietly beside him.

"Wouldn't he have been with his father to Dimas' house? He said he wanted to meet Deka" Halimah reminded.

Halah, most of his fathers who miss the same mother Deka, the inner Nawang upset.

"I'll take him. It's time for lunch." said Nawang as he rushed out of the house.

I don't know why he felt he had to go to Dimas' house.

In the middle of his journey towards the house of Dimas, Nawang saw a small star running towards him.

"Well, how are you alone? Which deca?" nawang asked as the Star hugged his leg.

"They were with his father, didn't know where" replied the Cuey Star.

"Where's dad?" tanya Nawang was.

"At home om Dimas." replied the Star as he looked at his mother.

Nawang looked at the face of the Star as if he wanted to say something but the boy was worried.

"Ngapain is still there? Didn't om Dimas go with Deka huh?" tanya Nawang astonished.

The star is silent while bowing its head.

"When you lived there, who was in Dimas' house?" ask Nawang gently.

"There is only a Aunt Goddess. Last time my father took me back to the house Simbah did not want, I was told to go home alone. Yes, I went home by myself." said the star a little annoyed.

The distance between the house of Dimas and his father-in-law is not too far, not up to a hundred meters.

Just a few houses away.

However, Nawang rarely went to Dimas' house when visiting his father-in-law.

From the beginning of meeting with Dewi, Nawang had indeed felt dislike for her brother-in-law's temperament.

According to Nawang - who incidentally cares a lot about the manners - the way the Goddess behaves daily to her mother-in-law is too impolite.

Especially his behavior with Dani.

The woman seemed to have no shame in being so considerate to Dani even in front of Nawang though.

In the past, Dewi even called Dani with the name 'honey' many times when his family-in-law had a wish.

Nawang who had tried to reprimand the Goddess to behave appropriately with jokes was only considered the wind then by the Goddess.

Because the Goddess did not also stop her behavior calling Dani with the title 'yank' in front of their large family, Nawang inflamed.

Reprimanded with an angry voice when the Goddess again called Dani with a call 'honey'.
