The Passion of the Guards

The Passion of the Guards
Chapter 68 - TGSP

"Ju, can we talk together?" Miranda asked, making Juan frown in wonder.

"Talking what? I'm males." Juan replied, the man looks focused on looking at his cellphone because he is exchanging messages with the lover.

"For a moment, it might just be about the past."

"Why should it be with me?" Juan asked indifferently, without looking the slightest bit towards his grandmother at all.

"Juan.."

"Yes, Ma.."

"Turutin dong, is it hard? Just talking alone with your grandmother."

"Huffttt, okay Mama." Juan answered, persuaded by Miranda, the young man was stubborn but when his mother asked for him, he immediately relented and obeyed his orders. She educates her children very well.

Miranda smiled and then came out of the house, although lazy finally Juan inevitably had to follow the steps of the grandmother to the porch of her house.

In his heart, Romlah was indeed frightening something when he let Juan talk alone with his grandmother. Wh why? He knows exactly what Miranda was like, does not rule out the possibility that she still has bad intentions hidden at this time because the hearts of people no one knows, right?

No matter how deep a man can dive, he still cannot dive into the hearts of others. Right no? As a precaution, Romlah followed from behind. He's hiding behind a wall, it's rude to eavesdrop on people's conversations, isn't it? But he must be vigilant.

"What the hell is it?" Juan asked as he sat his body beside Miranda, but it was a bit distant.

"Hmmm, you're so sniffy on Grandma, Ju."

"It's okay, I'm like this to people I don't know." Juan answered, making Miranda smile.

"Seeing this behavior of yours reminds Grandma of Hendra, Ju."

"Is Dad like I was?" Juan asked, he was quite enthusiastic when his grandmother said that he looked like the late father.

"Yes, he's a stubborn kid. Maybe because she's our only child, so her grandmother and grandfather overindulge her."

"If now, grandma could think more logically. But in the past, grandma and grandpa were both selfish. We vehemently oppose when your papa insists on marrying your mother."

"The reason you disagree is why? Because of the economy, is that it?" Asked Juan cynically.

"To be honest, we don't think Hendra will have a future if he marries your mother, son."

"Cihh, rich people always underestimate something before feeling it themselves. So the poor man is not a will, but a fate. Now, even though we live in poverty and deprivation, but we're not crazy about possessions." Said Juan flatly, his eyes staring pushyly at Miranda. Certainly the reason he did not approve of Hendra marrying Romlah was because of the economic aspect that was not convincing.

"Yes, we used to be both selfish and now we swallow the bitter pill for what we did in the past, son. After your grandfather died, grandma felt alone, lonely."

"Ckk, the turn alone just want the same daughter-in-law and grandchild. If not alone, Juan is sure grandma will not want to be with us. Aye right? Stale reason." Juan clucked as soon as he heard his Grandmother's words.

"Hmmm, actually we have planned for Hendra to continue the company that has been hard-earned grandparents. But, your papa chose to stay with your mother. Your grandfather felt angry that day, so did grandma."

"But, after your grandfather's pain, he mused over all his mistakes and wanted to apologize, but couldn't apologize directly because we had trouble finding you." Miranda is at length. But like her Juan did not intend to listen or just believe his own grandmother's words.

"Grandmother and grandfather regretted being selfish until we abandoned our own children." Miranda said. Juan stared cynically at the grandmother, he snorted softly and then uttered some scathing words.

"Nyesel, right? Not for the money now, papah does not exist. So will not be able to hear him sorry you two or not, if you want to apologize should still be alive so he can be sorry or not."

"You're an adult, you have to be realistic. If your child is happy, why not support him? Do not be a selfish parent and want to win alone, look childish know not. You think you can live without children? No way, someday it will definitely need that name of his son." Said Juan, he got up from his seat and went back into his house, leaving Miranda who was silent in her place.

Talking with Juan does not make his mood improve, his grandson is too sarcastic and flat when talking, making him unable to speak well because he is always ketus and cynical. It is still natural, maybe Juan hated the figure of a grandmother because he ignored her from childhood and never met the figure who currently claimed to be his grandmother.

Miranda felt that everything Juan said was true, she was sorry but it was too late because her son was gone, so she could not hear whether she forgave all her mistakes or not. But I don't know now her heart hurts so much, but she won't give up on making peace with her son-in-law and grandchildren.

He should be able to bring his third home with him, he will make up for all his mistakes in the past now, he will replace all the pain of his words and deeds in the present. That's his promise, so he won't despair before Juan, Rinda and Romlah will forgive themselves and come home with him. Whatever the way, he should be able to take all three of them home to where they should be.
