I woke up shocked when Brother Hafiz's voice sounded so close to my eardrum.
"Halima wake up, it's dawn" said Abang Hafiz woke me up.
I immediately opened my eyes and got up towards the bathroom half-runningly withstanding the overwhelming nervousness.
"Abang has prayed?" ask her slowly while wearing my white face.
" Haven't.. Let's congregate" he answered my question and immediately spread the peace on the front.
We prayed at dawn for the first time.
There was a feeling that suddenly came to my mind when we shook hands after praying.
My tears almost fell unstoppable as I kissed the back of her hand and gently stroked my hair.
I was so clueless with this uncertain feeling.
" Halimah." he called out to her, lifting my chin.
I kept staring at him.
Long time we stuck each other in his mute room.
" Is it sorry that Halimah married Abang?" ask him.
I was silent not knowing what to answer.
" Halima needs Bang time.. It all happened so fast.. Halimah promises to try to be a good wife for brother.. But Halimah begs Halimah of time" I replied with a hoarse voice holding back the cries.
"certain.. Brother will love the time until Halimah can accept Abang completely.." he replied as he patted the back of my hand that he grabbed.
"Thank you Bang." I replied again
He replied with a smile so sweet.
My heart is starting to melt.
After the prayer I immediately went to the kitchen to help mom prepare breakfast.
At home there are still some distant families who have not returned to their homes.
Including Bukde Mita's one-on-one mother's brother.
Bukde Mita is a widow who has a son who is the same age as me.
They live in a suburban area that is quite far from our village.
" Wah.. New Manten, wake up once at dawn? in the past, when Bukde like you, Bukde woke up late and even missed his morning prayers" he said with a laugh mocking me.
"Where was last night? sleep well? I'm cold again, right? is there something warm? or even can not sleep because it is disturbed huh? any bad hands?" he said again with a few questions.
" Bukde said what, Halimah did not understand" I answered briefly withholding embarrassment, then left Bukde and returned to the room.
In the room I did not meet Abang Hafiz who was lying down when I left the room..
The room was empty and even the bed was neatly arranged.
"Where is He?"my question is in my heart. Then go take a shower.
After taking a bath, I went back to the kitchen and I found Brother Hafiz sitting down and having breakfast with my family.
They looked so familiar like they had known each other for a long time.
"Come here for breakfast" asked my father, who stood glued to me.
I nodded slowly and approached.
Everyone shifted their seats to give me a seat next to Brother HAfiz.
Awkwardly I started having breakfast together.
I took a glass of water before starting my breakfast.
" How did you sleep last night? got it?" ask Bukde without further ado.
Brother Hafiz choked in shock.
Immediately drink the remaining water glass that I drank just now.
I was amazed at her.
" Mashallah.... A new manten is always envious.. Romantic once.one glass in both wear.." Bukde again mocked Brother HAfiz.
"It should be.. If you are a husband and wife must complement each other and share each other so that the reward in can be even greater" replied Father also to us.
Me and Brother Hafiz could only reply to each other with timid smiles.
