The Path of Love Halimah
Episode 12's. Harapan Jaya Village

Mom and Dad drove us to the door with a blue atmosphere.

I don't want to let go of my mom and dad's arms.

I kept sobbing listening to all the advice and prayers they offered for me and Brother Hafiz.

"We say yes.. Buk.." said Abang Hafiz for the last time.

I waved my hand from behind the windshield with tears still flowing.

"Bismillah" said Abang Hafiz began to drive his car away from my house.

The Toyota Yaris Silver is slowly moving away from home.

Slowly I closed my eyes that felt very sore and swollen due to too much crying earlier.

I don't mind Brother Hafiz at all.

My feelings are really raging.

There was a great fear in my mind.

"May the family of Abang Hafiz be able to accept me well.. Hopefully I can quickly adjust to my new environment.. Help Me, O GOD." I pray in my heart.

I too ended up falling asleep.

When I woke up, my eyes were fixed on a large gate that read 'WELCOME TO HARAPAN JAYA VILLAGE'

"We've arrived?" I asked Abang Hafiz who remained focused on driving.

"Yup.. Welcome to Harapan Jaya village" he replied with a smile at me.

Her smile looks so sweet.

My heart suddenly skipped a beat.

Long enough I was amazed to stare at him.

"Astagfirulah... What's wrong with me?" I immediately turned my face out of the car window.

This Harapan Jaya village is only approximately two hours from my hometown.

Although fairly close, honestly this is the first time I set foot in this village.

Only Father and Mother who often come here to attend the school at Kyai Rifa'i boarding school, Abi from Abang Hafiz who is an old friend of Dad.

"It's still three and a half hours, and we still have time to go around the village first before entering the school" said Abang Hafiz breaking my daydream.

"Halima agrees? or just go straight to the pesantren?" ask me again.

"Of course Halimah agrees Bang." I replied quickly with a smile.

He returned to return my smile with his sweetness.

Hafiz's brother then drove his car slowly down a very beautiful village road with views of the rice fields on his left and right.

the car then stops at the foot of a not-so-high hillside.

"Let's get off" he asked me.

Brother Hafiz then took my hand down the path to the top of the hill.

"Goddessa.. Very beautiful Bang.." I was amazed to see the beautiful view of this village from the top of the hill.

This Harapan Jaya village is different from the Suka Cita village where I came from.

In my village there is rarely rice fields, because the commodities of the community there are rubber trees and coffee.

While in Harapan Jaya village, Padi became the main commodity planted in almost all corners of the village.

So it looks very beautiful, orderly and beautiful.

A sight that really spoils the eyes.

"Along this hillside is a pesantren's rice field, and every farmer who works on pesantren's farm is entitled to send his children to pesantren for free until the end of High School" brother Hafiz explained it to me.

I was amazed to hear the story.

We then sat on the edge of the hill while enjoying the breeze which was very soothing.

" Halima... Thank you" she grabbed both my hands.

I was surprised.

"Thank you for what?" kata asked.

"Abang tau, separated from Father and Mother must be very difficult for Halimah, but for the sake of Halimah's service to Abang, Halimah was willing to leave them to join Abang to this village.. You know, there must be many things that are currently raging in the mind of Halimah. Including maybe the fear of feeling alone, but one thing that Halimaah must remember, you are now fully responsible for Halimah.  You can't promise anything.. But God willing Brother will try to be the best husband for Halimah and our small family.. Halimah believes the same brother yes." he said looking deeply into my eyes.

I nodded slowly without answering.

Slowly her right hand caressed my soft cheek which was flushed in embarrassment.

He smiled back very sweetly.

I couldn't look at him.

He slowly approached and kissed me.

Longtime.

My body is stiff not budging one bit.

There is a soothing happiness mixed with haru.

"Am I starting to love her?" whispered in my heart.
