Without feeling the time goes on very fast.
It's been over two years that I've been living in the Pesantren's cottage that belonged to my late husband's parents.
And my holding status has been almost 5 years running.
Still vividly remembered last week when unexpectedly Ustad Ramli came to meet Umi and Abi in person to ask permission to apply for me.
Of course I'm not surprised.
Because it's very clear Ustad Ramli has a heart for me.
Almost every day greetings are delivered by the santri from the Ustad Ramli and sometimes even I often receive various condolences from him.
Whether it was food, poetry, and sometimes he sent me fragrant flowers.
He is quite romantic. It can even be said that men are perfect enough to be a life partner.
But how can I receive it, if my heart is not moved a little for the attention given by it.
"Goddess... Ustad Ramli is a good man, Abi thinks he is fit for Halimah.. Maybe it's good for Halimah to consider Ramli's heartfelt intentions yes son." Abi advised me last week.
"Bring istikharah, son, ask for guidance from ALLAH.. After all, Ramli did not insist, he even said he wanted to wait until Halimah was ready" said Umi to me.
I could only smile meaninglessly with a turbulent heart full of anxiety.
"Pazah Halima...!!"Shouted a little girl running towards me who was sitting casually doing an assignment to welcome the 17s in front of the school with Ustazah Wulan.
"Chiaaa..!!"I replied as I grabbed the beautiful little boy into my arms.
"Chia how are you, baby?" I asked the little Chia.
"Alhamdulillah.. Healthy chia.. Chia longs for tazah." she said with a face so cute.
"Tazah also misses Chia very much" I replied as I hugged her quite tightly.
This is the first time we met again after Chia finished school and Kindergarten.
"Sama Eyang's.. Chia wants to change schools here, in this cottage.. Chia doesn't like international school... School's a lot of bad kids.. Chia doesn't like it.. They like to make fun of Chia." the story with a sad face.
I was shocked to hear the story coming out of this little girl.
It seemed that she was so depressed at her new school.
"Assalamualaikum Ustazah." said a middle-aged woman approaching me and Chia.
"Waalaikum hail Ibuk.." I answered softly to Chia's hand.
"Healthy tenor?" ask Eyang to me.
I nodded slowly with so much respect.
"Alhamdulillah Buk.. Healthy mom?" I said back to asking.
"Alhamdulillah as Ustazah saw." he replied with a warm smile.
"From tomorrow Chia will go to elementary school in this cottage.. She doesn't like school at her current school, she says her friends are naughty and she doesn't like her teachers there. And he said he also missed Halimah very much." said Eyang with a sharp glance teasing towards his grandson.
Chia and I looked at each other with smiles.
"Tazah... After returning home from school, Chia wants extra tutoring with tazah can you? So Eyang picked up Chia in the afternoon just ba'da Ashar.. Yes, yes, tazah." asked Chia to ask me.
I smile back.
"If you may, tazah does not matter." I replied looking at the apearah Eyang nya Chia.
"Wouldn't it trouble tazah?" ask Eyang again.
"God is not... I'm very happy night if I allow it.." I said mean it.
"Alright if that's what you want." replied Eyang again made Chia jump with joy full of happiness.
