I was still asleep in my good night's sleep, waking up shocked to hear my phone ringing and vibrating.
With the night I looked at the HP screen that only said number only.
"Who's calling at 4am like this?" I feel strange in my heart.
"Assalamualaikum.." I said with a lazy tone.
"Vaalaikumsalam Halima... This is me Mr. Kades" he said across the phone, leaving me even more confused.
"Sir Kades? What's up, sir?" tanyaku.
"Goddess... Our village was hit by a disaster, a landslide.. Halimah's parents' house became one of the stricken and until now we have not been able to find Halimah's parents, Congratulations or not from the incident that just happened.." said Mr. Kades surprised me.
"Astagfirullah.." I said slowly hung up the phone unknowingly.
I sat there for a while trying to calm myself down but I couldn't.
"YES ALLAH...."My screams shocked the Dorm kids.
"What's wrong?" tanya Wati who immediately came down from her bed approached towards me.
I still cry and don't answer.
"Sister.. Istigfar... What's up, brother? Sick brother?" ask Wati again worried.
I shook my head still with my cry.
"Kampung kakar avalanche.. Mom and Dad.." I said stammering.
"Astagfriulci... Innalillahi wainna ilaihi rojiun." said Wati hugged me tightly.
I cried in the arms of the wati who also cried sorry for me.
"So how's brother?" her question again controlled herself.
"So I have to go home... Brother must find out the condition of his parents." I replied sobbing.
"Let's visit Kyai's house.we tell this news to her brother.. In the morning, Wati accompanied my sister back home, yes." he replied again trying to help me.
I nodded slowly.
We did not have time to leave the dormitory, Umi and Abi were right on the outside side of the Dormitory.
"Assalamualaikum.." said Umi running small towards me.
"Umi.."yelling me down in Umi's arms.
Umi hugged me tightly, along with crying over the calamity that had just hit me.
"Let's go, kid.we're leaving right now.. Abi's been waiting outside." bring Umi to me.
I'm sluggish.
Wati then asked for permission to accompany us.
I could only cry in Wati's arms on the way to the village.
"YES ALLAH... Save both my parents, O ALLAH.." I pray softly in my heart.
Until I finally unconsciously fell asleep for a moment.
"Halimaah we have reached son." said Umi woke me up.
I was stunned to look out the window.
I was right on the side of the road in front of my yard.
The house is now flattened with land.
Only the roof is visible.
"Halima." shouted someone from the front towards me.
"Bude.." call me to the approaching woman holding me.
"A strong piety yes." said his embrace me.
"Bude... Our house??" I looked at Bude, who was my next door neighbor.
He nodded strongly with tears.
"Come to the village hall.." lead me along.
Umi, Abi and Wati followed us from behind.
Part of the road to Village Hall was cut off by an avalanche of land.
We tried hard to get through it.
"Goddess.. Mr. Kyai.. Ibuk.." greet the village chief to us.
"Mother's Dad?" my many.
"The strong is dear." Buk Kades' hug calmed me down.
I still shook my head in disbelief at everything that was happening right now.
Buk Kades then led me slowly towards the yellow body bags neatly arranged in the interior of the Village Office Hall.
It's not just me crying.
Many people were crying for their families.
Almost all of them I know.
And in those pockets are familiar faces of my neighbors whom I know.
I'm totally ruined.
My body kept shaking holding back the tightness that it felt like it wanted to pop out.
And right in front of two adjoining pockets, a figure that I know so well, I respect, I love it is clearly covered from the tip of the foot to the base of their necks.
"Yeah..... Ibuuuu....!!!!!!!" I shouted loudly and then I fell unconscious.
