His full name is Muhammad Zaky Hamdani, S.E., M.B.A Bin Prof Hamdan Abdullah, S.E., M.B.A.
The man who has now become my life partner.
Our marriage was simple.
Akad and reception are all in the title at the boarding house.
There is no big party.
Only the residents of the cottage and family are invited.
To be honest, I haven't even spoken to my husband until now.
The second that night led me to a bridal room full of the scent of lavender.
My body is shaking, cold hot.
My face is pale.
I'm so nervous.
I laid my body against the wall of the room which is now filled with white curtains with colorful flowers.
I tried to close my eyes that were not even able to lena.
"Astagfirullah.." I kept repeating myself to calm my heart.
I heard that the door to the room opened slowly.
A slow footstep moved towards me.
I dare not turn to look at it.
My body trembled more and more withstanding the overwhelming nervousness.
"Hi." he said greeting me with his hoarse voice.
I quietly did not answer, pretending to be asleep.
I felt his body right next to mine.
He did not lie down, but leaned against the wall of the mattress.
"I know you haven't slept?" her asking makes me go wrong.
But I really don't dare flinch.
"I'm sorry for my parents' selfishness.. They love Chia too much." she said starting the conversation.
His words made me slowly turn around, sitting down facing him.
Either the power from which suddenly came to possess me until unconsciously I also dared to reply to his words.
"No need to apologize.. I did all this sincerely.. I did it sincerely because I love Chia and Eyang.. There is not the slightest bit of coercion that Eyang has done to me." I still looked down not daring to look at him.
" Thank you for being a connecting mother to Chia." she said again, holding my hand.
I was surprised by her surprise.
Unknowingly our eyes clashed with each other.
My heart made it beat very fast.
"Halima.." he said softly calling my name.
His heavy distinctive voice completely melted my heart.
I still remained silent, not letting him hold my hands together and rubbing them gently.
"The marriage happened too quickly.. We haven't even greeted each other before.. This marriage happened all for Chia's sake.. I won't force you.. Let's do it all from the beginning.. Learn to understand and accept each other.. Know each other's characters.. And try to open up to each other." he said to me again.
I didn't answer his words.
My eyes bowed to my hand which was still in his elus.
"Thank you for being my wife... Thank you for being a connecting mother to Chia." she said sincerely.
I nodded slowly.
His words made me feel good.
Don't know why.
Suddenly my tears were dripping right above her hand that was still tightly grasping my hand.
"Halimaah." she asked in surprise to see me crying.
I immediately wiped my tears.
And then try to smile at him.
"I'm sorry... I am so glad to hear such a sincere word to me... "My word immediately to him.
"Abang.." I said slowly.
"May Halimah call with the call of Brother?" ask her.
He smiled in agreement.
"Thank you for turning Halimah into your wife.. Halimah promises, will strive to be a good wife and mother for Abang and Chia.. Guide Halimah yes." I said looking at her lovingly.
He nodded back and smiled.
Gently on the elus of my head.
I also felt his sincerity.
"Sleep.it's too late." she said then told me to go to sleep.
I nodded strongly.
Back to feeling awkward.
I laid my body in its original position facing the wall on its back.
Slowly I tried to close my eyes that were still reluctant to sleep.
"Good night, brother." I said a little bit to her.
"Good night Halimah." he answered while fixing the pillow bolster that became a barrier between the two of us.
