The Poor Girl's

The Poor Girl's
Hollowly

Elin sat on the edge of the bed contemplating clearly when two years ago Imam met him to continue his education to the capital city of Jakarta. At that moment Elin felt sad, the only person who was always there for her had to leave.

Since that time Elin felt lonely not friends, especially now that he just stayed at home has not worked since a year ago he managed to complete his education in High School.

Elin's loneliness in solitude makes her life feel empty. Repeatedly he banished that feeling that always approached when he was alone, but he could not escape from that situation. Elin preoccupied herself with homework, helping parents and trading. Still the sense of it being present as he returned alone in the quiet.

Elin decides to look for work today, though her parents never gave Elin permission to work. Elin is determined to find work to drive away the deserted. Elin went to see me asking for approval.

"Well, Elin wants to work." Elin spoke carefully.

"Elin is bored at home alone, Elin will be looking for a job today. Can you bah?" Elin turned to Abah.

Abah felt sorry to see Elin pleading like that, in the end he nodded.

"You should talk to my mom, too." I said after I gave my consent to Elin.

"Yes bah." Answer Elin

"As for your brother's house, he's going to Jakarta today. Abah and mom will be there." Connect abah

Elin was surprised, "Why brother to Jakarta bah?" ask Elin wonder

"Your sister's husband has got a regular job there, so your sister will be there." Obviously abah.

"Does that mean you're going to stay there?" ask Elin

"Maybe, you can't be sure. But it looks like yes, your sister's been taking care of the move." Connect abah.

"Please call mom, tell her it's time to drop off your sister." Abah's orders

"Elin' with ya sah." Pinta Elin's

Abah nodded. Elin stepped in search of mother, then prepared. They head to Elin's sister's house named Nita. Elin has two older brothers, her older brother living outside the province with his new family, while her first sister Nita lives in the same town. And now it will move on in the footsteps of his second brother.

"Why should I move, brother?" elin asked after they were at Nita's house.

"Your brother has got a steady job there, brother should follow. There's no way big brother lives apart with Danu's sister." Nita was clear to her sister.

The car stopped in front of Nita's house, the car that would take her to Jakarta. The travel car that has been booked her brother. Seeing the pickup car has arrived, they stand ready to go outside the house. Before leaving the house Nita hugged Elin.

"Jaga abah and mother, tell your sister if anything happens." Nita's sister's message while hugging Elin.

Elin shed tears remembering they would be far apart, Nita took off her arms and gave Elin a cell phone.

"This is for you, the number's been saved by your name in this cell phone contact." Nita said with sadness.

"It's a sister, if it's in love with Elin then what about sister?" ask Elin

Nita smiles at the bag and shows the phone she just picked up from the bag she was wearing.

"Here, you've got a new one." Nita's speech shows her touchscreen phone on Elin.

"Sorry, I can't give you an android. Just give me a regular phone for you." Nita felt guilty.

"Thank you brother, Elin was happy. This is enough." Typhoon Elin.

"Change, mother, Nita's leaving." Pamit Nita's

"Sister departs Lin." Reciprocity.

They came out closer to the travel car, Nita boarded the car and said hello afterwards. The car drove away from Nita's already vacant lease uninhabited. Without feeling the tears Elin had fallen down her cheeks watching the departure of Nita the only person closest to Elin.

Abah and mother looked sad but there were no tears on that face. Abah invites Elin and her mother back home. Elin did not return home, she intended to go to the market looking for a job as a shopkeeper.

The market looked quiet, Elin's eyes were fixed on one of the wholesale clothing stores. He walked towards the store but his steps came to a halt as he passed Ica.

"Hi Elin's." Ica Sapa

"How are you?" ask Ica

Elin smiled, "hi Ca, good news." Answer Elin

"How about we chat there while eating meatballs, we haven't seen you in a long time. I miss." Pinta Ica with a forefinger leads to one of the meatball traders not far from where they stand.

Elin nodded in agreement to Ica's request, though she had other interests. It would seem arrogant if he refused. They were waiting for orders. Ica opened the conversation.

"What are you busy with now?" ask Ica

"Nothing." Answer Elin

"You alone?" ask Elin to Ica

"I'm unemployed, but I'll be working soon." Answer Ica steady

"I will apply for a job at the PT factory. Indoraya." Connect Ica.

Elin nodded, the conversation halted as their order meatballs came. In between meals they continued the conversation.

"Are you really not busy right now?" ask Ica

"Yes, I'm just gonna find a job as a shopkeeper." Answer Elin

"Since I've never been to school, I've only been at home helping my parents. My parents didn't give me permission to work. They want me to follow in his footsteps to trade." Bright Elin

"Our fate is the same. Both are not given permission to choose our wishes, the difference is you are a submissive child while I am not. I can't follow all the wishes of those I don't like." Ica

"I fulfilled their wish when they forced me to go to High School, but this time I couldn't. You know, they want me to get married." Ica Bright

Elin was surprised, she was more and more interested in hearing Ica's story.

"They wanted me to get married just because I stayed home. They think I'm a lazy, spoiled girl. I wanted to prove it wrong, so I wanted to work. I want to show you that I can live independently by my choice." Ica issued her complaint.

"Aren't you interested in applying for a job in the same place?" ask Ica.

"This job has many enthusiasts, the salary is large and currently this company is opening a massive job vacancy." Ica

"It's better that you apply for a job here than that you work as a shopkeeper." Ica

"Utilize your diploma, opportunities only come once." Connect Ica
