The departure of Elin

"Yes the father is right" said Abah chimed in the words of Ica's father.

Their conversation stopped because the bus was about to leave. Elin and Ica share their families. They got into the bus to take their seats. The bus started walking, looking as Ica and Elin waved towards their families.

The feeling of happiness and sadness belied Elin. For the first time she went out of the house and went straight this far from her parents. She was sad to remember the face of her mother feeling lost to her.

As the car sped up, Elin stared out at the windshield and enjoyed a scene that had never been touched by her eyes. She is happy to be out of town looking for a life experience she never felt.

"What do you see?" tanya Ica was surprised to see Elin since just focused on staring out the glass.

Elin turned her head, "looking at the scenery we passed, I want to feel the pleasure of this trip," replied Elin. He kept this memory in his mind.

"Are you happy?" ask Ica.

"Yes, but also sad," Elin's face suddenly mellowed.

"Don't put on that sad face of yours, you go for a brighter future, you should be happy" Ica said

"You'd be smiling broadly if you knew the company was huge, and we'd be working there on a sizable salary" he said.

"It's my first time, I'm not used to being away from my parents. I'm worried that those who are now may be crying over me" he said

"We're the same, this is my first time. Look at me as usual." Ica Timpal.

Elin no longer responded to Ica, she silently looked straight ahead. Ica clucked to see Elin instantly silent. The journey to Jakarta takes 6 hours. Not long Elin was asleep as well as Ica.

The bus lunch hour stops at exactly 13:00, meaning there is only half the journey they will take. Elin ate the food she brought from home. Fifteen minutes passed, all passengers began to enter the bus and the bus drove back.

The bus entered the Kalideres terminal, they had already arrived at their destination. Ica and Elin got off the bus and onto a bench at the terminal, waiting for an invitation.

"Alhamdulillah until the end, too" said Elin after sitting on the waiting bench.

"We're okay, aren't we? isn't that what I said?" tell Ica about her words saying they'll be fine on the way.

"Yes, you're right. It's fine, there's no need to talk about it" Elin replied.

"Next time don't doubt me, believe me I can't possibly plunge a good friend like you, though sometimes annoying," Ica said.

"Where are you going to live?" ask Elin.

"I'll stay at my aunt's house near here, they're on their way here. Actually the house is close from here, but I forgot the way, "Ica replied.

"Let's put the proposal together, yes" Elin's pinta.

"Yes, I'll call you later, keep an eye on your phone." Ica says.

Their conversation comes to a halt as the middle-aged woman approaches Ica, who turns out to be her aunt Ica.

"Hallo aunty, how are you?" greeting Ica with outstretched hands grabbed her aunt's hand and kissed the back of that hand.

"Auntie don't be too complimentary, I feel like I'm drifting because of it" Ica said with a smile.

"Know Bi, this is my friend from Earth City as well. We will apply for jobs in the same place" Ica said, introducing Elin to her aunt.

"Hallo aunty, I'm Elin" said Elin

"So you are here with Ica, thank you for accompanying Ica. I hope you both get a job here" Auntie told Elin

Elin frowned at the statement of thanks from Aunt Ica, she should have been the one to thank. But why is it upside down, embarrassing. He felt bad considering that he never said even a word of gratitude to Ica.

"I should have thanked Ica, Bi. That's why I got this chance. He who has been instrumental in providing this vacancy information to me," replied Elin explained to aunt.

"All auntie has to thank you, let's go home. You can stay at aunt's house too, aunt only has one child and her stay is not here. The house is no longer quiet if you live with your aunt," the aunt seemed sincerely inviting Elin.

"It's not good girls are alone here, you can be disturbed by people. Aunty won't leave before your sister comes, auntie wants to make sure you're safe" replied the aunt.

"Thank you aunt, Elin's been a hassle" Elin felt bad about the kindness that aunt showed.

"Not to talk like that, you're the same as aunt's niece. No troublesome words. Don't hesitate," said the aunt

It was not long before Nita's brother walked closer to Elin. Elin tells the aunt that her brother has come, the aunt and Ica turn to follow Elin's index finger which leads to her brother.

Elin introduces Nita's sister to her aunt and Ica after they return home after a conversation.

"Silver you arrived safely, you know you couldn't calm down when you were on the trip. I'm afraid that something will happen to you that will be my responsibility because I insist you come here" said Nita.

"Thank you brother, thanks to brother Elin can feel a different experience. Elin is happy to step on the city of Jakarta. Elin had never dreamed of going to Jakarta, Elin really did not believe this," Elin said excitedly.

Four days passed, just today Elin and Ica were about to submit their cover letter. Ica is optimistic they will be accepted he looks calm. Unlike Elin who looks agitated after the application was submitted. In the next three days they will have an interview.

"You seem so confident" said Elin.

"Of course, don't you know?" tanya Ica ambiguously made Elin frown with various questions popping up in her mind.
