The Bloody Sword (Ten)

        Aiden and several of his ministers were walking through the park to discuss various construction plans that they would undertake in the kingdom of Hora. At times Aiden stopped his steps while shaking firmly when one of his ministers gave a proposal that was not in accordance with his plan. From a distance the man saw Calistha was walking in haste with a soldier behind him. Aiden then smiled sinisterly at Calistha while muttering something unclear, but full of cruelty from behind his pias-looking face.

        "Your Majesty, isn't that your future wife? Are we going to go up to him and greet him. After all, we feel the need to introduce ourselves to the queen candidate" the minister of economics said politely. Aiden then nodded faintly and immediately walked over to Calistha who seemed unaware of her presence before one of her ministers shouted while bowing respectfully at Calistha.

        "Good day, Your Majesty, the queen's candidate."

        Calistha bearded in shock as he was suddenly confronted by several ministers and also... Aidens. The woman looked nervous and frightened. He thought that they had all come to arrest him and that Max was currently standing behind his body in full warrior armor and headgear. But, all

the fear instantly vanished when one of the ministers bowed respectfully to him while politely introducing himself.

        "Sorry to surprise you, let me introduce you to the minister of economics. And these are my fellow ministers." appoint the minister to some of his colleagues who also bowed to salute Calistha. Calistha then smiled sweetly at the ministers and immediately stuck out her hand to shake hands. But, those ministers looked at each other with glances at their king who had just observed them with his sharp eagle eyes.

        "What are you waiting for, your future queen is extending her hand to shake hands. Have you never learned about ethics and manners?" Said Aiden cynically while staring intently at all of them. Quickly the economy minister returned Calistha's hand while formally introducing his name.

        "I'm sorry, Your Honor, I'm just not used to it" the economy minister blushed in embarrassment. Calistha smiled in response to the economic minister's remark because she had suspected that Aiden had been too hard on them, so they seemed stiff and too down to respect him.

        "It's okay, I understand." Calistha replied sincerely. As the ministers shook hands with Calistha, Aiden suddenly directed his peeking gaze at Max while scrutinizing the man's body from head to toe. Then unexpectedly, Aiden came forward to walk up to Max while patting Max on the shoulder slowly.

        "Well, you're an exemplary warrior, you're willing to escort the future queen to a walk in the park even if your job is to guard the palace gates. After Calistha and I get married, I will raise you to be my queen's loyal bodyguard, will you be willing?" aiden asked calmly, but it made Max

and Calistha was both speechless nervously. In fact, Max found it difficult to breathe because he was too afraid of his disguise. He really felt threatened because suddenly Aiden approached him and offered something tantalizing for the size of a soldier, but not for him.

        "Yes, I'm ready." replied Max loudly, but there was a nervous tone in every sentence. Aiden then turned to Calistha while extending his right hand at the woman. Doubtfully, Calistha accepted the helping hand, though she was perplexed by Aiden's intention of suddenly reaching out to her. He thought Aiden would shake his hand as well, just as he shook the ministers' hands, but apparently his guess was wrong. Aiden actually pulled his palm strong and immediately made his small body hit the sturdy body of Aiden hard.

        "What's wrong?" ask Calistha nervously. He felt so awkward being near Aiden as everyone was staring at him with a meaningfully seductive look. Even his entire face was now hot and flushed. Making Calistha feel even more embarrassed and want to leave the park immediately. From behind his warrior hat, Max was holding back the annoyance that Aiden was with all his heart hugging Calistha's body before him. He could not have imagined that if tomorrow the man would marry Calistha, he would definitely be the first to refuse the marriage, because Calistha was forever only his.

        "Tomorrow me and Calistha will get married. I hope you come in time to witness a great event in this kingdom. And don't forget to announce this to all my people, because I want them to celebrate my big day. Do you understand?" aiden asked flatly, but implied a mysterious message that made both of Calistha's eyebrows frown in confusion. Obviously the man was hiding something from him, but unfortunately he did not know what the man meant. He finally chose to forget all his suspicions and immediately turned to Max who was standing rigidly next to Aiden. Suddenly, Max's eyes looked deeply into his eyes for help. Calistha then cleared her throat several times to neutralize her nervousness and after that she began to speak up to save Max.

        "Ehem, you better get back to your job. I'll go to the park myself. I'll be very safe anyway because His Majesty Aiden is with me." Calistha said meaningfully to Max. The man then immediately walked away from Aiden and Calistha and the other ministers with a bow

respect first. After Max completely left, Calistha could sigh in relief next to Aiden while smiling sweetly at the ministers. After this, Max will save Tiffany. In accordance with their previous plans, tonight Max and Gazelle must remove Tiffany first, and he will follow them to escape from this palace at midnight. Without realizing it, Aiden had since observed every expression of his face with an indecipherable flat face. I don't know what's in Aiden's mind right now, but he looks so terrible with his flat face that has been stalking every movement of Calistha like an eagle that is stalking its prey.

        "Your Majesty, please leave us alone to continue our work. Good day and may you both be given great happiness by God."

           After the ministers left, Calistha immediately walked away leaving Aiden alone who was still standing staring at him in the middle of the palace courtyard. Aiden who felt ignored by Calistha, then immediately called the woman loudly so inevitably Calistha had to stop her steps and turn to Aiden.

        "Calistha, I still need you" said Aiden flatly. With laziness Calistha again walked over to Aiden while looking up her face full of arrogance.

        "What's wrong? Quickly say, because I want to take a walk in the park." said Calistha ketus. Hearing Calistha's tone of voice that was so sharp and completely disrespectful to her, Aiden became a little emotional. The man almost wanted to yell at Calistha and teach the woman a lesson, but he then remembered Spencer's suggestion that he be advised to be gentle with Calistha once in a while to make her soft on him.

        "I want you to come with me for lunch."

        "No way, I still feel full" Calistha refused raw as she crossed her hands in front of her chest. Seeing Calistha who was so haughty in front of him made Aiden tighten his teeth angrily. How his ego as a king felt trampled by the woman's refusal. To ask the woman to accompany him to lunch, he was willing to throw his entire ego away. But, by not knowing herself Calistha actually directly rejected it as raw as that. This really can't be allowed. If the woman decides to act in opposition to him, then the only way to conquer the stubborn woman is by violent means. There's no other way.

        "I don't accept rejection. Right now you must accompany me to lunch in the palace dining hall." Without a cue, Aiden instantly pulled Calistha's rough wrist by slightly dragging the woman's body which continued to wriggle behind her.

        "Let go! I told you, I don't want to have lunch with you. I want to go to the park." cried Calistha thrashing in Aiden's hand, making the atmosphere around them so noisy and inviting attention from the soldiers and palace servants who coincidentally passed them while occasionally stealing glances at the couple who were getting married that morning.

        "Here I am king, you have no right to refuse my orders because you are just an ordinary woman who coincidentally carries a gift that can remove my curse, so never judge yourself too highly here." snapped Aiden violently and managed to silence Calistha's lips tightly. The woman seemed so offended by Aiden's words that she felt like crying. But with all his might he endured every turmoil of pain in his heart so that he would not be seen as a weak and crybaby woman before the cruel man who was currently dragging him into the palace. Inwardly he swore that he would avenge all the vile deeds of the man and make him suffer.

        "Why silence? Have you realized your position now? Are you offended by what I said?" aiden asked him repeatedly to Calistha in a cynical tone. Calistha who felt so hurt was only able to tightly wrap her lips while tightly squeezing her palm free from Aiden's hand. The woman then looked up sharply at the strapping back of Aiden who was on

ahead of him. With a single blow he managed to let go of Aiden's hand grip while staring angrily at the man.

        "offended? Huh, what did you tell me? Are your words important to me? Huh, ch,

you're too confident if you take me personally, because I'm not offended at all. I'm just mad at you because you always impose all your will on others without thinking about their feelings in the least. Do you realize that your actions are very selfish and very nauseating. You're so disgusting." Calistha's fiery rage until her breath gasps profusely. He was too emotional with all sorts of insults from the man to him, and he had been too tired to endure all the pain of his heart all this time.

        "Get it? Don't you ever realize that you and your whole family are the most disgusting people on earth. If you don't have a special gift in you, it's certain that you won't be able to breathe until now. You must have died in my hands long ago with your two disgusting parents. So, never insult me and insult me with your harsh words if in fact the price is not higher than the******** that I have been killing!" aiden snapped roughly right in front of Calistha's face to shock the woman. He did not expect that the man would reply with more hurtful words than his harsh words. Although he did not know his father and mother very well, because at that time he was very young to remember all the things that happened in his childhood, but he was sure that both his parents were good people.

        "Never insult my family in front of me because you don't know anything about them." sizzled Calistha angrily with a sharp eye that drew right into Aiden's two beads.

        "Not knowing anything? Doesn't your statement fit perfectly with your current circumstances? If

I don't know anything about your father's son of a bitch's kingdom, so what about you? Do you know how your kingdom is shaped? Do you know how arrogant your father was when he ruled his kingdom, do you know? Answer!" aiden snapped loudly in front of Calistha's face, until

the woman was only able to close her eyes to dampen the feeling of anger, sadness, and humiliation that gathered into one within her chest. He then opened both of his eyes quickly and immediately looked at both of Aiden's beads fiercely.

        "Even though I don't remember them all clearly, but as a child, I'm pretty sure that both of my parents were good people. At least the two of them didn't take the lives of innocent people like you. You're demons. You're the meanest demon lord I've ever met."

        Aiden looked furiously at Calistha. The woman was really so hard and very difficult to conquer. Even though she never knew the whole truth though, the woman was so bold as to voice her faith if her parents were good people. Unfortunately, that belief is not true at all. Because in reality they are both real demons. The devil that has taken both his parents and the mastermind behind every mess that has happened in recent years.

        "Whatever you say. I just want to tell you, I hope you didn't make the wrong choice in your life, because what you choose in the present will determine your future, and the future of this world. Take it." hissed Aiden was angry as he walked away leaving Calistha just like that who immediately fell sitting in his place while crying loudly. Fortunately, he was currently in a quiet hallway, so he did not need to be ashamed of the servants or the soldiers who passed by around him

because he was crying right now, spilling all sorts of tightness that had since hit his heart until he felt it was difficult to breathe.

        At night, Calistha prefers to lock herself in a room without any intention of going out, although Sunny had been persuading him to go out and have dinner with the king of Aiden. But the cause of his melancholy today was the cruel man, so he was increasingly unwilling to have dinner at the dinner table if he were to meet the man in the end.

        "Miss, I brought you your dinner."

        Sunny placed a plate of grilled meat with sweet sour sauce on it with a plate of mashed potatoes that were so fragrant and tempting to eat. But this time his appetite was lost somewhere, so the tempting food looks ordinary in the eyes of Calistha.

        Aiden walked into Calistha's room with his sickly barking style. It stands right at

the edge of Calistha's bed with a towering body that was so domineering and looked haughty. Seeing Aiden standing on the edge of his bed, Calistha decided to turn his back on the man and would not look him in the face at all, even though Aiden was talking to him. With a fury Aiden grabbed Calistha's shoulder and directly touched it hard, until Calistha was forced to turn her body towards the man with one shoulder that was painful because of the cruel king's treatment.

        "What are you doing in my room? Get the fuck out of here. Your existence here will actually make me even more sick." throw out the rough Calistha with eyes that glitter in anger. Aiden looked at the woman unconcerned, and instead sat himself on Calistha's bed while grabbing Calistha's food tray that was completely untouched.

        "Eat. I don't want to see you sick, so eat your meal right now while I'm still trying to be patient with all of your childish behavior." said Aiden flatly as he placed the tray of food on Calistha's lap. Unexpectedly, Calistha simply threw the food tray away, so that the entire contents of the tray spilled under her bed and created a huge sauce stain on her carpet.

        "I don't want to eat! You have no right to rule my life."

        "How dare you throw away the food made by my people. Basic women don't know themselves. I have tried to be patient with all your barbaric behavior, but you continue to praise me with your various childish and nauseating attitudes. Are you really trying to provoke my anger, huh?" aiden shouted furiously in front of Calistha while gripping the tiny jaw firmly, making Calistha groan in pain while continuously hitting Aiden's sturdy chest with both hands free.

            "Servant, get me a new meal now!" Shouted aiden wrath at Sunny who was already trembling in fear in the doorway. The little woman immediately ran to get a new food menu for Calistha. Meanwhile, Aiden still looks wrathful in front of Calistha, but he no longer grips the woman's jaw. He had removed his hand grip from Calistha's jaw a few seconds ago and made Calistha instantly grimace in pain while stroking her two jaws that felt pain.

        "Review if you throw your food back. If you do it again, I will tell you to lick all the food you have spilled on the floor of my palace. No matter how dirty the food is, but you do have to learn to appreciate the hard work of others."

        Calistha looked down in fear in front of her with eyes that had started to tear up. Now he feels

so weak and afraid of Aiden. In his entire life he had never faced such terrible anger. Usually Max only snapped once if the man was tired, then the next day the man would immediately apologize to him while giving him a bouquet of flowers

or a beautiful dress. But, now the man who snapped at him was king Aiden. The cruelest and cruelest king on the face of the earth. He was not sure if the king would apologize to him after this, after what the man had done to him.

        On the other hand, Aiden was staring at Calistha inside while waiting for Sunny to bring food

But he's not a normal guy. Well, at least the curse had actually turned him into a cruel monster and almost lost all his human feelings.

        "Your Majesty, this is your meal" Sunny said in a trembling tone as she placed the tray of food on Calistha's lap. After getting a subtle swipe from Aiden, Sunny immediately walked out from inside her gripping master's room. He himself did not know how the fate of Calistha nantinnya saw

        In the room, after Sunny's departure, Aiden was still silent as he looked intensely at Calistha who looked glum while looking at her food with blank and disinterested eyes.             "Now eat your food."

        "Isn't that better? Rather than you hurting yourself, you better save your energy for our wedding day tomorrow morning. I don't want to see my queen-to-be look ugly while the wedding is going on."

        "Why are you acting like this to me? Why do you suddenly care about me if in fact you hate my family so much?"

        Suddenly Calistha looked her face towards Aiden with her entire face having been flooded by tears.

        "Remove your tears. I will not be affected by your stupid tears." said Aiden flatly as he thrust a piece of meat in front of Calistha's mouth. But the woman turned sharply toward Aiden without even opening her mouth.

        "I won't open my mouth if you don't answer my question. Why do you still care about me? Why don't you let me die?" Calistha asked once more with tears rolling back down her cheeks. Lazily, Aiden began to put the plate in place and immediately carried Calistha into his arms.

        "Because you are my queen, then I must always protect you and make sure you are okay."

        Calistha then looked her face towards Aiden while frowning in incomprehension. Why this time the man uttered more sincerely and looked different. Is what he said right?

        "really? You gonna protect me? But you always hurt me." isak Calistha softly. The woman again cried in front of Aiden to make the man feel unable to stand and finally immediately close his face to ******* Calistha's red lips were filled with tears. If the woman does not believe her words, then she will prove it by action. He hopes that this time Calistha can understand his heart and can choose the right path for a better future. The future is far from war and bloodshed.

        Aiden continues******** Calistha's red lips gently. At first Calistha was silent and did not return the kiss. But after a long time and Aiden continued to treat him gently, eventually he gave up and preferred to reply to any proposal given by Aiden.         "Sleep. I'm gonna ask the waitress to clean up all this mess."

        "Good sleep my queen." whispered Aiden as he gave a kiss of good-night on Calistha's forehead. After that Aiden immediately walked away from Calistha's room with all sorts of feelings that were stirring in her heart.

        "My human side is back." Aiden's mind doesn't believe me.

        Amidst her bloated feelings of happiness, Spencer suddenly came rushing to meet her while bowing respectfully with a face that looked chaotic.

        "What's wrong? They really did it?" aiden asked flatly while putting on his pajama face again.

        "Yes Your Majesty. Gazelle and Max are trying to escape while carrying Miss Tiffany. But they

waiting for Her Majesty the queen at the hidden gate of the palace. Do we have to arrest them all now?"

        "Yes, take them all to the palace grounds and prepare an execution ceremony for them." aiden's orders were flat and instantly left from Spencer's sight while glancing mysteriously at the brown door behind him which was Calistha's personal space.
