The Queen Of Time

The Queen Of Time
Haste Makes Waste (Twenty)

When the sun had risen, all the soldiers of the kingdom of Chronos seemed to be preparing to attack the kingdom of Bibury. Spencer and Commander Heren were busy organizing all the soldiers and checking their weapons. Then, after everything was ready, Spencer rushed to tell Aiden in the king's tent, but when Spencer entered the tent, Aiden was not there at all. The large tent was empty and seemed untouched at all. In fact, the wine that Spencer had poured for Aiden last night had not been drunk at all. In a panic, Spencer began searching for Heren's commander and all the other officials who had gone to war to negotiate the matter.

"Commander Heren, we have to have a meeting now" Spencer said in a hurry as he entered the man's tent. Perplexed, Heren's commander immediately raised both eyebrows towards Spencer while inserting his sword into the sword sheath that was on his waist.

"What's wrong? Did the king order us to have a meeting? Did the kingdom of Bibury reject our letter of challenge?" ask Commander Heren bertubi. Spencer quickly shook his head and immediately told the young commander everything about the disappearance of their king this morning.

"We have to hold a meeting with the other officials because His Majesty Aiden is missing. This morning he was not in his tent and the wine I served him last night was not touched by him at all, it means the king has been away from his tent since last night. But, the problem is whether the king went alone because of his will or whether the king had been kidnapped by a group of people who did not like him? Because according to the spy who had been smuggled by king Aiden into the rebel group, they had been in the kingdom of Bibury since yesterday to seek refuge from king Andrew, so it's not possible that last night some members of the rebel group came sneaking around to kidnap the king."

"You'd better gather the other officials first to discuss the matter further. I'll order my army to search for clues around here, because I don't think King Aiden was kidnapped at all, maybe he was gone because he had an urgent interest."

Spencer nodded his head in understanding and immediately came out of the tent belonging to Commander Heren to inform this important news to all the royal officials who participated in the war.

Meanwhile, the commander of Heren immediately ordered all his men to carry out sweeping along the forest and look for signs or traces that might be left by their king. Then when Heren accidentally passed the king's tent, the man immediately realized something, the king's horse was not there, that means the king did take the initiative to go alone without telling Spencer because he had a sudden problem. Quickly, Commander Heren immediately sought Spencer to inform the man of this information. But when he arrives near Spencer's tent, at the same time a spy who had been infiltrated into the rebel group came and said that the rebel group and other Bibury kingdom soldiers were preparing to attack the king of Aiden when he was this is inside the royal palace of Bibury to save Calistha. Hearing the news, without a second thought Commander Heren immediately ordered his men to prepare.

"We must leave now, lest they injure our king" Heren said firmly. Spencer and the other officials immediately prepared with their own horses to enter the territory of the kingdom of Bibury. But during the trip, Spencer seemed so agitated and anxious. The intruder, who was assigned by Aiden to go undercover into the rebels, told him that all these attacks were commanded by Gazelle, and according to the intruder Gazelle seemed so ambitious to finish off the king and Her Majesty the queen, it certainly made Spencer agitated, because Gazelle will be in danger if that woman is in this battle. The woman will surely run out in Aiden's hands if Aiden finds her among the soldiers of the kingdom of Bibury and the rebels.

Gazelle opened her eyes slowly while yawning a few times. The woman excitedly went straight into the bathroom to clean herself up. Although the sun had not yet fully risen, he intended to hold a meeting with the other members of the rebels. He immediately dressed and prepared to leave his room. But, as he was about to walk out, he saw the room next to him, which was Calistha's room looking open. Without any thought Gazelle immediately walked towards Calistha's room to meet the woman. But when he was about to step in, his movements immediately stopped as he

there was a lot of blood on the white marble floor. In the corner of the room he could see the body of King Andrew with his head thrown away from his body rolled so horribly and horribly. Although he was about to squeal, but all that was undone after he saw Calistha and Aiden were kissing so hot on the sofa in the middle of the woman's room. Suddenly his heart ached and crumbled. Even though he had told everyone that he hated so much

Aiden and wanted to destroy the man, but in the depths of his heart, he still loved the cruel man. He still has such a deep taste in her. But no matter how much love, it will not make Aiden turn to him, because the man has already bent his knees on Calistha.

"Max, get up. We must assemble the troops immediately." Gazelle shouted loudly while shaking Max's shoulders violently. Max who was feeling disturbed immediately opened his eyes while looking at Gazelle in confusion.

"What's wrong? Did something happen out there?" ask Max in a loud voice. He then cleared his throat several times while stretching out his stiff hands after sleeping.

"Yes, we must immediately gather all the soldiers of the kingdom of Bibury and all the members of the rebels. We've betrayed Max. Calistha betrayed us by pretending to be hurt and hating Aiden, but in fact they are currently kissing so affectionately in her room, and King Andrew is now dead. The man was beheaded by Aiden, and his body is still in Calistha's room. Max, we need to move fast, before Calistha and Aiden leave this kingdom. They have to die." Gazelle said.

"Are you sure Calistha did that? I. I feel that's not true. I knew Calistha very well, and all this time she never betrayed me in the least. It's possible that you misjudged, it's possible that something happened and Aiden came to this kingdom" Max said in denial. Gazelle looked furious in front of him and after that Gazelle immediately gripped the collar of Max's shirt while shaking the man's body violently.

"Conscious Max! You have been deceived by Calistha with her innocent and sweet-looking attitude. If you don't believe me, you can go out and see everything yourself with your eyes!"

"Come out, I trust you. Now let me prepare for a moment, and I'll meet you in the hall. You gather all the soldiers first." said Max coldly. Seeing Max who had entered into his incitement, Gazelle immediately cheered in excitement. With a light step he immediately walked towards the residence of the warlord of the kingdom of Bibury, for today he must prepare all the soldiers of Bibury for a war that will certainly be very terrible today, he said, because if Aiden has been in this kingdom, it can be ascertained if the current troops must be waiting at the border of the kingdom of Bibury. Therefore, before the warrior kingdom of Chronos entered the kingdom of Bibury, he had to eliminate the two useless humans from this world.

"You will soon die at my hands." murmured Gazelle full of determination with his terrible grin.

Aiden removed his lip link from Calistha while looking at that beautiful face deep. After he vented all his anger and pain on Calistha, his heart became calm and cold again. I don't know what kind of magic the woman used to cool her down, which obviously gives her a real sense of calm.

"Are you satisfied?" spray cynical Calistha while rubbing her slightly swollen lips. Aiden then helps Calistha rub the woman's lips with her hands, but it makes Calistha's heart again lie tight and nervous.

"Looks like you're nervous" Aiden said casually. Hearing that Calistha lowered her head even more deeply, she felt ashamed to look at Aiden's face with a face that would definitely look foolish in front of the man. Aiden pulled his chin to look up, and before Aiden released Calistha from his lap, the man

took the time to kiss those swollen lips at a glance while blinking one eye flirtatiously.

"Actually I'm not satisfied at all, but we need to get out of here as soon as we're

like those. Just watch out, after this he will definitely avenge the man with even more heinous retaliation.

"Stop to curse me. Take this." Take this." Aiden gave his golden sword to Calistha which the woman immediately replied with a puzzled look.

        "What's this for?"

"You can use a sword, right?" ask Aiden again. Calistha was already preparing to shout at the man with her harsh words, before Aiden silenced her lips with his stern words.

"We will fight with the soldiers of the kingdom of Bibury and the rebels."

"What's? No no, you must be kidding me. Why would you make such a unilateral decision? Is it not enough to kill King Andrew? Although King Andrew deserves to be killed, but you must not involve his other innocent lives. What about the residents of the kingdom of Bibury who had been living quietly? They will be very saddened by this war." said Calistha angrily. Aiden seemed unconcerned by Calistha's screams. He prefers to prepare himself for the worst possible situation he will face. He then lifted a little of his robe of greatness to take a dagger which he hid under the cloak he was wearing. As a king, he must always be prepared by preparing additional weapons to fight his enemies on the battlefield.

"Come." take Aiden in a flat voice. Calistha shook her head vigorously and looked unmoved in place. He would not go with Aiden at all if in the end the man just invited him to spill blood out there. It is better that he stay in this kingdom as long as he does not need to take up arms to wipe out his innocent life.

"Calistha, don't try to argue if you don't know what's going on." - furious Aiden. However, Calistha seemed to be unconcerned. She walked to the long chair in the middle of the room and lay there like a proud princess.

        "I'm not going with you."

"I order you to stand up now or you will regret Calistha." furious Aiden with an imposing voice. And as Calistha was casually swinging the sword, a group of people entered her room carrying various weapons. Those men who were members of the rebels directly attacked Aiden blindly until Aiden was a little overwhelmed. While Calistha who initially felt surprised, immediately jumped down from the seat to help Aiden. As much as possible the woman tried to get the rebels to discuss, but they just swung their sword towards Calistha and managed to hit Calistha's shoulder until the shoulder dripped with fresh blood in deep red.

"Ahh, what are you doing? Aren't we on the same side?" calistha asked with a stifled groan. Aiden, who knew Calistha was wounded, directed his attack on the rebels until the assailant fell to his knees before him because Aiden managed to slash the legs of the rebels and was wounded quite badly.

"You're not part of us anymore, you're a traitor!" maki the man was undaunted. Furious, Aiden then immediately slashed the man's head with his sword which he snatched from Calistha's hand.

"Have it, now is not the time to mourn fate. We must leave this kingdom and return to Chronos. Here, use my sword to protect you, because I will definitely not be able to protect you there" Aiden said firmly. Calistha then looked her face towards Aiden while holding back her droplets of tears that were about to fall.

"What am I supposed to do? Should I kill them? I'm not sure if I can do it. They were once part of my life. I can't do it." Calistha sobbed sobbing sobbing while covering her face with both palms. Seeing that, Aiden was only able to exhale slowly while pulling Calistha into his arms. Right now there was a battle going on, and he should have been in the vanguard to lead all of his soldiers, but he could not leave Calistha in this state.

"Women are indeed very confusing creatures." Aiden's inner riled up. After Calistha calmed down, Aiden began trying to persuade Calistha not to cry and blame herself. Although he had never persuaded a woman at all, this time he would do it for Calistha. For the sake of his queen, for the sake of his life companion.

"Calm down, this isn't your fault. You're just a victim of the cunning of a demon so evil out there. So, now you have to find the demon and avenge him because he ruined your good name. He has spread bad news about you and caused this war to happen."

        "Who?"

"I can't tell you. You must find it yourself among the soldiers who are at war. But, without you even looking for it, it would have come to you by itself to kill you."

"All right, let's go find the devil."

This time Aiden's attempt to persuade Calistha succeeded. With eyes glistening furiously, Calistha immediately stood up from her seat as she brandished the sword forward. He looks ready for war today.

"Remember, you cannot go anywhere and stay behind me. I'll find a safe way out of this kingdom."

Calistha nodded her head in understanding and immediately walked out with steady steps. When they were in the hallway connecting with the hall, the atmosphere there already seemed chaotic. Some of the bodies of the Bibury soldiers were already scattered on the marble floor with their blood still pouring profusely from the chest and head. Calistha then sighed once more to strengthen herself.

"Lord, whatever happens, please protect the people I care about." Calistha softly looked at Aiden's sturdy body with doubt.
