The Evil Shadow (Twenty Nine)

Today the inhabitants of the kingdom of Chronos look so busy to prepare a welcoming party for the queen. Since early in the morning, when the sun is still reluctant to show its form, kitchens have been busy concocting various kinds of dishes to be served at the welcoming party of their new queen later. Meanwhile, in her room, Calistha was busy choosing the dress she would wear later at her welcoming party. Yuri who served as her dresser had prepared dozens of dresses that were ready for her to choose, and it made her even more confused and dizzy, because the dresses looked so beautiful, she said, he can only wear one.

        "Your Majesty, you just have to choose one of these dresses" Yuri said in frustration. Calistha had always complained to her that she could not choose the dresses because everything looked beautiful.

        "I can't Yuri, it feels like I want to wear all those dresses because everything looks

gorgeous. Tiffany, what do you think? Can you pick me one?" tanya Calistha turned to Tiffany. Since then his brother did not make his voice at all and only silenced at the small commotion made by his sister. It seemed like he was devising a plan inside his beautiful head.

        "All right, those dresses look beautiful" Tiffany said with a plain grin. Calistha snorted resentfully at her brother who was not helping at all. Instead, the brother increasingly makes him dizzy because he must immediately pick one of the dresses before Yuri and Sunny will help him to soak with rose water as one of the rituals before the welcoming ceremony later.

        "Your Majesty, what if His Majesty asks King Aiden? I think the king will be happy if you use the dress chosen by him." yuri quickly suggested. Calistha immediately nodded in agreement as she ran out of her room. She had to drag Aiden from her private room to pick out one of the dresses

that's for him. No matter whether Aiden was busy or not, the arrogant king had to choose a dress for her now, because otherwise he would not have come to the welcoming party.

        Calistha slammed the wooden door in front of her slowly while waiting for someone in the room to tell her to enter. And his unusual behavior managed to make one of the soldiers standing next to Aiden's room frown in wonder at Calistha.

        "Is the king in his room?"

           The soldier immediately straightened his body swiftly while turning his head quickly at Calistha. It then

he shook his head and replied that the king was still in his room.

        "This morning the king has not yet come out of his private room Her Majesty the queen."

        "Oh, okay. Thank you." said Calistha kindly. Finally he decided to enter Aiden's private room without waiting for the man to let him in. It seems like it would be a long time if it waited for Aiden to let him in.

        "Aiden." call Calistha slowly. However, he did not see Aiden anywhere in the room, even though the soldier said that the king was still in his room.

        "Aiden." call Calistha one more time.

        "Yahoo!! Aiden, put me down."

        Calistha suddenly shrieked loudly when unexpectedly Aiden appeared behind her while holding her up quite high. Reflexes, Calistha directly draped her hand to Aiden's neck while shouting loudly to lower him.

        "Aiden, put me down!" calistha's orders were firm with a veiled face. Aiden laughed out loud in front of Calistha with a mocking face. It was tempting Calistha until the woman screamed angrily would become her routine after this because she quite enjoyed seeing that pretty face screaming resentfully at her.

        "What are you doing in my room? You go in and sneak around like a thief, do you want to steal something from my room, baby?"

        "stealing? Just be right. I came here because I needed your help. Please help me to choose a dress, I'm really confused because all the dresses look so pretty.         "Basic sucks. I really need your help Aiden, if you don't want to, then I won't come to the party." Calistha was upset. Aiden chuckled amusedly at Calistha's increasingly spoiled attitude towards her. And it made her heart warm.

        "You know, I'm not very good at picking out dresses for women either. Even I only have two colors of clothes in my wardrobe, black and red. So, your decision to ask for my opinion will not help you at all. You better take advice from your bodyguards or Spencer, because I have to finish my duties today before I go to the village to see the preparations for tonight's people's party." said Aiden leisurely as he walked towards his desk. The man seemed ready with the parchment Spencer had given him today. The parchments contain crops this month, financial data and royal assets, as well as several public complaints related to clogged village waterways. But, this time Calistha would not be willing to budge with those stupid parchments. Whatever happens, she must be able to drag Aiden to come to her room and choose one of the dresses for her.

        "You still have to choose a dress for me, even if your taste is low, I don't care!"

        "I am the king, and you have no right to rule me as you please." Aiden said with a sharp eye. He did not like to hear Calistha talking to him in such a half-stomping voice, as it reminded him of the events of a few weeks ago when Calistha was fighting him and trying to escape from him.

And just a few hours ago they said if they would complement each other and would be a unifier for the two feuding kingdoms, but only because of a dress, just because of a dress, the promise seemed to vanish burning with the flames of anger among them.

        "Well, I'm not gonna ask you for any more help. And our relationship ends here. To hell with all the bullshit ties you told me or all your ludicrous curses. I don't care!" enraged Calistha was fiery and immediately stepped away leaving Aiden's private room by slamming hard the wooden door behind her.

        Aiden snorted in annoyance while still concentrating on his work. His ego as a man and as a king was really so high that he felt angry at Calistha who had behaved as he pleased in his kingdom. As a man, Aiden did not want to be controlled by women, even though she was Calistha, he would never want to. Just let Calistha get angry and destroy the entire kingdom as she pleases, she doesn't care! And as for the woman's threat, she was convinced that Calistha would not actually do it, because she already had no one else in the world. Only he is possessed by Calistha, so he is sure that sooner or later Calistha will definitely return to him, ask for his protection, and depend on him.

        "Your Majesty brought you a report of the harvest from the kingdom of Bibury."

        An old minister who used to work for the kingdom of Bibury comes to Aiden to discuss the issue of crops in the kingdom of Bibury.           Calistha seemed to grunt while cursing Aiden with various kinds of swearing in her heart. I don't know how many swears Calistha had made to Aiden, who was obviously angry and hated Aiden. He felt so arrogant because the man had rejected him on the grounds of ego and degree. Though according to him his position and Aiden in this kingdom are the same. They should complement each other and also help each other. But, the man was only willing to take advantage of it and use it to satisfy his animal lust in bed. He was fed up with all that. He wants justice. She did not want to become a weak woman that Aiden could trample on as he pleased.

        A lady-in-waiting with a tray in front of her chest seemed to be bringing a cup of tea to someone. Curiously, Calistha stopped the lady and asked about the owner of the cup of tea on the tray.

        "This belongs to King Aiden His Majesty. Do you want a cup of tea too?"

        "Ah, give it to me. I will deliver this tea to King Aiden." said Calistha kindly while taking over the tray from the hand of the lady-in-waiting. He then turned around and immediately went towards Aiden's room as he now had plans for the man. He would prove it to the arrogant man if he was also able to fight him by violent means as the man had done to him.

        "Your Majesty, are you really going to bring it to king Aiden?" chase the lady timidly. Calistha stopped her steps immediately while staring at the horror on the face of the ladyboy as she began to feel careless with the attitude of the lady who seemed to block her path.

        "Yes, and you can leave now" said Calistha firmly and immediately waltzed away from the front of the lady. Inwardly Calistha grumbled angrily at the lady who had interfered with her plan to teach Aiden a lesson.

        "Aiden, I won't let you be that rude and power-mad!"

Calistha accidentally slammed the cup and nampa she was carrying right in front of Aiden's room. The guards standing at the door of Aiden's room immediately glanced in surprise at Calistha, but they did not dare to do anything to hinder Calistha's actions, due to their incomparable standing.

As for Calistha, he seemed to be smiling with satisfaction while shaking his waist because he had managed to make a commotion in front of Aiden's room.

        "What are you doing in front of my room? You want to test me?" hiss Aiden wrathful. Calistha pretended to be indifferent to Aiden by turning her face the other way when Aiden asked her to speak. He was really upset with the man and now he wants Aiden to feel how angry he is.

        "Fuck, I'm talking to you!" aiden's curse is rude and instantly pulls Calistha's arm fast until the woman is drawn to face him. The palace occupants who were about to walk through Aiden's room immediately disengaged his intentions while still stealing glances at the quarrel of their future queen and king. One of the servants who often spread gossip around the palace immediately took the golden opportunity to peek at the quarrel that occurred between Calistha and Aiden. He thought the quarrel was very interesting and would be the hottest news in the palace. While the two guards who were around Aiden's room were only able to stand while praying in their hearts that the stubborn couple immediately ended their confrontation because they were so worried about Calistha's fate it was currently faced with the fury of their mighty king.

        "Don't touch me! You have no right to touch me." Calistha replied in a voice no less loud. Aiden growled in annoyance as he stared intently at the two Calistha beads. To hell with the presence of the guards or some other palace dwellers who would watch his quarrel, he did not care! What he wanted to do right now was to teach Calistha a lesson for the woman to be respectful and submit to him.

        "You have no right to yell at me. I am king, so all my orders are absolute.

I order you to clean up all this mess right now and apologize to me for being disrespectful to the king."

        "Curtain, I don't want to! You should have learned to be a wise king and not put forward violence."

        Aiden looked really angry with Calistha's very stubborn and dissident attitude. He felt that his pride had been trampled by Calistha in front of all his subordinates. It seemed that he indeed had to resort to violent means to resuscitate Calistha because the woman had truly gone too far.

        "You're all out now!" aiden snapped at Tiffany and Yuri who immediately followed them out of the magnificent room without saying a word, but, even though the two of them were both confused by what had just happened before them. However, the two of them did not want to risk dealing with Aiden who was angry like that. Several times Tiffany had stolen a look at Aiden's face that looked angry. In his heart Tiffany smiled happily to see Calistha get a pretty fierce tantrum from Aiden even though he did not know what the cause was. He thinks it's not important. As long as Calistha suffered and was hurt, it was enough for her.

        "You seem to be very happy with what is going on with His Holiness Calistha" Yuri's lips disliked Tiffany. The beautiful lady bereyes smile it just laughed cynically at Yuri while crossing her hands in front of her chest.

        "What if I feel happy? That little show was really interesting, wasn't it?" reply Tiffany relax. There is no fake play for Yuri. Just let the woman know all the cunning, after all she's just a waiter here. He was sure that Yuri would not jeopardize his plans later.

        "Huh, I didn't expect that you were such a mean big brother. And His Majesty has defended you desperately in front of King Aiden so that the king may deliver you from that filthy and disgusting prison. You snake woman!" cynical Yuri without the slightest sense of trepidation. Hearing that the servant had dared to forgive him, Tiffany became angry. It grabbed Yuri's long hair violently, causing Yuri to thrash and groan in pain.

        "Felt! This is a revenge for you because you have insulted me and challenged me."

        "Aww, release! That's sore. I said let go!"

        Yuri jerked the hand firmly from her hair while pushing Tiffany's body away from her. The strong push succeeded in making Tiffany release her hand from Yuri's hair, as well as making her fall slammed into the wall behind her.

        Spencer immediately steps away leaving Tiffany and Yuri standing in front of Calistha's private room. However, Tiffany seemed even more upset that Spencer did not care about her at all, not even glancing at her body that had just hit the wall. Really shit!

        "Hmm, it looks like Mr. Spencer doesn't care about your injured back." Yuri's ejek is triumphant.

        "Be quiet, waiter! I don't need your comment." Angered Tiffany was annoyed and immediately waltzed away from Yuri's presence.

        Meanwhile, Yuri was still worried about the state of Calistha inside. In Yuri's heart pray that God will always protect Calistha from Aiden's cruel attitude .

         "Oh my God, may nothing happen to Miss Calistha."
