My Mysterious One (Fifty Two)

             Spencer walked confidently toward Aiden who was having a serious talk with him

economy minister. His face seemed to imply satisfaction because today he managed to execute orders from Aiden smoothly, and without any obstacles. It is precisely today that he is getting two fortunes at once for having made the witch die and made Tiffany cry hysterically in the midst of the crowd of the people of Khronos. And the shadow of Tiffany who was screaming in the middle of the market was increasingly adding satisfaction in him.

            "Your Majesty."

            Spencer called Aiden slowly and made Aiden turn to the loyal bodyguard who was looking at him seriously. The arrogant king signaled to wait for him for a while, then he again spoke seriously with the economy minister. About five minutes later, the economy minister resigned and did not forget to bow respectfully to Aiden to give a reformer. Then as he walked past Spencer, the minister took the time to pat Spencer on the shoulder slowly while smiling calmly.

            "Hopefully your day is a pleasure, son" said the old minister, who was friendly to Spencer and immediately walked away leaving the king with his loyal bodyguard to speak for one eye.

            "So what did you bring for me today?"

            Aiden asked finally on top of his magnificent throne. The man looked so powerful with his robe of greatness fluttering slowly in the scorching afternoon breeze that blew from the roof fentilation. Hearing his king ask, Spencer immediately looked down respectfully as he looked at Aiden confidently.

            "I managed to do my job well. The witch is now dead, even I had time to see Tiffany who was roaring in front of the witch's house while asking for help to anyone she met to save the witch. But no one could do it because the fire was already burning big enough, and of course they did not want to risk their lives to help the witch who was trapped inside her burning house."

              Aiden listened to all of Spencer's explanations carefully while grinning happily. It felt like he wanted to meet Tiffany and scorn the crafty woman for her stupid attitude that had humiliated himself in front of all his people. Ahh, he really can't wait to see Tiffany's face today. It would definitely be nice to see her angry face filled with vengeful flames.

            "good. Now that you can go, today you are free to do anything. I gave you a day off because of your hard work today."

             Spencer looked up his happy face and looked down deeply at Aiden. He finally had time off to have fun. At least today he will go to the forest to hunt and feel like a free man who is not bound to the king.

              "Thank you Your Majesty, then excuse me." said Spencer politely while bowing respectfully. The man then walked away leaving Aiden with a bright smile that expanded on his lips. Various kinds of plans have been put together in his head to fill his vacation time today. And he would absolutely not waste the rare opportunity that his arrogant king rarely gave him.

                After Spencer's death, Aiden looked pensively on his throne as he stared at the waiters who were about to prepare lunch dishes. Today's work is done, and soon he'll meet Calistha at the dinner table, what's that woman doing out there? The question floated inside her head while imagining Calistha's ever-beautiful face with a red hue on her cheek. Aiden then also imagined how his life would be after Calistha gave birth to her offspring. All this time he was used to living alone with his arrogance and hardness of heart. But considering that Calistha was pregnant with her child, and her life after this would be complete, she really couldn't describe it. There was a sense of happiness and warmth that infiltrated his heart, making him want to always smile strangely every shadow of Calistha and the shadow of his future son would later cross inside his head. Sometimes he thinks, what will his future son be? Will he look like himself or will he look like Calistha? But in the end, he would answer out loud in his heart that he did not care about any of it. As long as Calistha and her son survived, all that would be enough for her. Instead he did not want his son to inherit his begis nature because he wanted his son to be known as a good king, not a cruel king like that to scare many people.

            In the midst of his daydreams about Calistha and his future son, a young servant came while bowing his head respectfully. The waiter told Aiden that the meal for lunch was ready, and Aiden was able to eat it now. The man nodded in understanding and was about to walk towards the dining room, but he suddenly remembered Calistha who had not yet raised his nose. He decided to ask the existence of the beautiful woman to the servant who was still loyal bowed in place without moving a bit since.

            "Do you know where Calistha is?"

            "I saw His Holiness Calistha was with Miss Yuri and Sunny, the two of them and His Eminence Calistha seemed to be going to the right wing to lay down an old lady who was unconscious. But I don't know who that woman is because His Majesty directly told me to leave."

            Aiden frowned in surprise when he heard the story of the servant. Calistha is hiding something from her and she is likely to endanger herself again. Besides why didn't Calistha ask him first if he wanted to bring someone into his palace? The woman should have asked her permission before bringing someone she didn't know into the palace. He really should be looking for Calistha now.

            "Yes, you can go." throw Aiden cold. The waiter seemed to breathe a sigh of relief as he walked away from Aiden. Aiden's demonic aura emanating from the man's body had apparently made the servant feel depressed and so afraid to be around him. But he didn't care, because right now he had to immediately find Calistha and interrogate the woman.

            In a dimly lit room, Calistha was meticulously enveloping the old woman who was currently lying peacefully on a comfortable soft bed. The old woman now looked better and cleaner than before. Yuri and Sunny had also replaced the woman's dirty clothes with other clothes that were cleaner, so that the woman was now not too scary for them.

            "Your Majesty, you should immediately tell this to King Aiden, the king will surely be angry if you suddenly bring an old grandmother without telling the king." yuri said. Calistha nodded in understanding as she weighed Yuri's suggestion. But his little heart felt unsure of Yuri's words because he knew very well how Aiden was, he would definitely be furious and would instead drive this helpless old woman out of his palace. Well, he was wrong to have put a stranger into the man's palace, but he himself could not have let that woman just lie out there in such a filthy, awful state. According to him, the woman had just been hit by a disaster, but unfortunately he could not ask further because since then the woman had not been aware as well.

            "I'll definitely tell Aiden later. Better now we let this woman rest. And maybe after lunch with Aiden I'll bring Aiden here to see the poor old lady's situation, and tell Aiden the truth if I've brought in one

foreign woman into his palace. I hope Aiden isn't upset by my actions this time. Let's hope he understands with my good intentions." Calistha said pleading with herself. The three women immediately walked away leaving the old woman to rest. But who would have thought, when the wooden door was closed, the old woman opened her eyes slowly while glancing cunningly at the brown door that Sunny had just closed.

            "It turns out that the brothers really have very different traits. Calistha." Sybil murmured to himself.

                Tiffany is still standing in front of the rubble of the ruins of Sybil's house. This afternoon the fire that engulfed Sybil's house was extinguished by all residents of Khronos who had been trying since noon to extinguish the fire that continued to lick into the air very horribly. But even though the blaze has now been extinguished, Tiffany still feels sad because again she lost a partner who will help her to destroy Calistha and Aiden. Though according to him Sybil's existence will be safe, because it is far from Aiden's reach, but in fact, Aiden has burned Sybil's house and killed the old woman alive in there. If only time could be turned, he wanted to come faster to Sybil's house and warn her if Aiden wanted to burn down her house. But then again, it was all just his wishful thinking. A wishful thinking that will never come true because everything has happened. Sybil has died in there, that poor, cunning woman has gone.

                Tiffany then decides to return to the palace and devise another plan to kill

Aidens. At the moment his determination has been unanimous. He would not wait any longer and would immediately finish Aiden off when the man let his guard down. To hell with Calistha's pregnancy that would weaken the man. He would not wait any longer to finish off Calistha and Aiden, because when he had the chance, he would do it quickly, ruthlessly, and cleanly. Then he will take over the throne of Chronos for his freedom and for the freedom of all the rebels who were oppressed by Aiden.
