The Queen Of Time

The Queen Of Time
My Mysterious One (Fifty Four)

Calistha rubbed every inch of Tiffany's wounds gently and carefully. The woman tried as much as possible to be careful in treating Tiffany's wounds so that her siblings were not in too much pain with every wound incised by Aiden. Calistha repeatedly apologized on behalf of Aiden to Tiffany for all the wrongs Aiden made today. Although he does not yet know for sure what caused Aiden to be angry and almost kill Tiffany, but he is sure if his brother must be innocent. This must all be just a misunderstanding that ends horribly because of the temperament of Aiden. Yeah, that's roughly what Calistha is thinking right now.

"Tiffany, so what's really going on?"

After Calistha finished with all the bandages on Tiffany's body, the woman began asking questions to find out the root cause of the problem between the two humans. Tiffany herself when Calistha began asking questions directly put up a frightened face while crying out her tears of joy. In his heart he smiled triumphantly as he imagined Aiden's furious face that was so unacceptable by Calistha's unilateral decision to annul their marriage. He was really happy with his defeat today.

            "Sssbbernarnya.. literally..."

Calistha stroked Tiffany's arm slowly to calm her down. He knew that Tiffany was traumatized and devastated by the terrible events that had happened to her today.

"Calm down, tell me slowly" said Calistha softly. Tiffany seemed to breathe out many times before she finally told Calistha all her lies.

"Sssbbernarnya. I actually just ask Aiden to care more about his people. Today

one of the Khronos houses was burned down, and none of the Khronos wanted to save the owner of the house while the fire was ongoing, so it is certain that the owner of the house burned to death in his house. Then I reported the incident to Aiden, but Aiden was angry and accused me of being a bad woman. He accused me of being the mastermind of the chaos that had been going on in his kingdom, then."

Tiffany cried hysterically at the end of her sentence while slapping her head over Calistha's lap. The woman looks so convincing with a very cheap cartoon show, but managed to deceive Calistha. While Calistha seemed to believe just like that with the story of Tiffany and immediately brought the body of the evil woman into his arms. He repeatedly uttered soothing words while apologizing to Tiffany for all the evil attitude Aiden had done to her. He did not expect that Aiden's excessive fear of evil things that the man thought were happening around him would bring

very severe impact as it is today. Now he really had to warn Aiden firmly, before the man grew more brutal with his unreasonable beliefs.

"Calm down, after this Aiden won't hurt you again. I'll warn Aiden firmly and make him aware of all his absurd excess fears."

"But will that work? Aiden is really terrible. He almost killed me, Cals. It's a good thing I found a dagger in his room, so I could stay in there long enough for you to come." Tiffany said dramatizing. Calistha continued to gently stroke the top of Tiffany's head

to calm the woman. Sometimes he also whispers encouraging words and promises to calm Tiffany down and relieve her trauma. According to him, Tiffany's soul is now completely shaken.

"Now sleep. I'll talk to Aiden and sort this out as soon as possible."

"Thank you, Cals, you're a really good sister. I love you Cals." said Tiffany Parau as she poured into Calistha's arms. Calistha let out a sigh of relief and immediately returned Tiffany's embrace tightly. He hopes Aiden is in a good mood after this, because today he has to straighten out all his problems with the man.

Aiden still lingered inside his room while groaning in frustration. Destroying his entire room did not relieve his heart at all and only made his emotions peak. In the end he decided to reflect while thinking about the various possibilities that could happen in the near future, including the madness of Calistha who wanted to leave his side and preferred Tiffany. Envisages

Calistha was about to leave from her side making Aiden panic and also fear extraordinary. He does not want to lose Calistha, until whenever Calistha must be by his side and become his queen. If Calistha leaves, she has no idea what will happen to her. He will be a man out of direction, just like he used to be.

While gouging his head in frustration on the table, Aiden began to close his eyes to calm his troubled mind. Come to think of it since Calistha's arrival into his kingdom, he has often been beset by head-painful unrest and frustration. Though previously the complexity that undergirded it was only limited to the complexity of the war, but now the complexity has turned into more complex and increasingly confusing itself.

"Araghhh! What did that woman do to me?"

            "Your Majesty."

Amid the frustration that struck Aiden, suddenly someone called out to Aiden frantically from the doorway. That person, who was a magician disguised as a servant looked so panicked and looked extremely rushed. Even due to being too hasty, the woman had to pay no attention to her steps which could have been hit by a sharp object fragment that Aiden had just crushed. While adjusting her hunting breath, the woman immediately bowed a regretful respectful bow to Aiden over his disrespectful attitude.

"What's wrong Zurich, you came at the wrong time" said Aiden lazily. Zurich then began to observe the room around him with a horrified look. Since then he was completely unaware if the king's private room was really very messy and dirty. Fortunately, both of his legs were covered in thin shoe soles were not injured and were hit by pieces of sharp objects scattered on the floor.

"Your Majesty is terrible. Sybil is inside this palace." reported Zurich hurriedly. Aiden who did not know the direction of the middle-aged woman's conversation was only able to frown in confusion as he looked at the middle-aged woman full of question marks.

"I don't understand what you mean? Who's Sybil?"

"Sybil is an evil sorcerer who helps Tiffany to injure Her Highness Calistha. Sybil is currently here and is on the right wing of the palace."

"What! How could? Didn't Spencer burn down his house and kill him?" aiden shouted in anger. The man immediately kicked down the ferocious table while standing wrathfully from his comfortable throne. While Zurich was only able to stare at the carelessness of Aiden with a calm face while thinking. This afternoon he accidentally went to the right wing of the palace to deliver drinks Calistha orders to

the woman he helped. But when he enters the room, he is shocked because the woman Calistha helped was Sybil, the black magician who worked with Tiffany to destroy Calistha. And by the time he came, Sybil reflexively opened his eyes wide as he could feel his aura which was that of his fellow magicians. As soon as he opened his eyes, Sybil immediately smirked cunningly at his surprised-looking face. But unfortunately he could not know what Sybil would do after this because he could not read Sybil's mind. The woman deliberately locked her mind from anyone and only limited to greeting him with a casual greeting.

"You must immediately expel him from this palace Your Majesty, before anything bad happens to you and His Holiness Calistha." Zurich advised Aiden. But Aiden immediately shook his head hard and instead voiced another more appropriate idea to overcome Sybil.

"We can't just throw him out, we have to kill him before he does evil things to me and Calistha."

With determination Aiden immediately walked out of his room, followed by Zurich behind him. The woman looked so exhausted to pursue Aiden's wide steps. The guards guarding along the passage immediately bowed respectfully as Aiden walked past them carrying his golden sword in a drawn state. In their hearts they guessed who this night was going to be executed by Aiden, because usually Aiden only carries his sword in a drawn state if Aiden is not being required to kill the increasingly annoying patients in the dungeon. But this time of course Aiden will not execute the sick, this time Aiden will actually execute someone who should have died today, the witch.

Calistha walked full of anticipation towards Aiden's room. A wide variety of questions he had prepared in his head to demand an explanation from Aiden. Although he considers Aiden excessive with his overprotective attitude, but he feels unfair to the man because he has not given Aiden a chance to defend himself. He believes, actually Aiden must have his own intention behind his rude and arrogant attitude, therefore he will give Aiden the opportunity to explain everything. And if the man had explained it, after this he would have made up his mind as to whether he would still be here or not.

When he arrived in front of Aiden's private room, the brown door seemed to gap wide with a wide variety of chaos clearly visible in it. Calistha then decided to enter while she had previously bowed her head first in search of Aiden's whereabouts. But many times he traced the room to look for the whereabouts of Aiden, the room looked empty. Aiden is not at all

be in there. He then asked one of the soldiers who stood not far from the door of Aiden's room because they must know where Aiden is now.

"Do you know where King Aiden is?"

"The king has just gone towards the right wing of the palace while carrying a sword in a drawn state, it looks like the king will execute someone."

Hearing that, Calistha immediately walked down the long hallways to the right wing of the palace. Right now his mind was completely in a panic as the guard had just said that Aiden was coming out of his room while carrying the sword in a unsheathed state. The various shadows that Aiden would execute someone instantly swirled around inside his head and horrified him. Moreover, the guards said that Aiden walked towards the right wing of the palace which was currently occupied by the old woman who had been helped this afternoon. Even though he tried to rule out all the worst possible events, his little heart kept screaming that Aiden was about to execute the poor woman he helped. Though come to think of it, what Aiden executed that woman for is no good reason

clear? But that may be possible, given how crazy Aiden is today that almost killed Tiffany, so it is not clear if Aiden will also do the same to the poor woman.

that's. With increasingly alarmed quick steps, Calistha headed straight for the room while continuing to mutter inwardly wishing the woman well.

"Aiden!" call Calistha hysterical when she sees Aiden pulling the poor woman from her bed in a state of weakness. Quickly Calistha ran over to Aiden and pushed the man's body strongly away from the poor woman he had helped this afternoon.

"So far away Calistha, you're stopping me from killing that witch!"

"What are you doing? You're nuts! She's not a witch, she's just a poor woman who just got hit. Dare you come forward and draw your sword on him, I will leave this kingdom." threatened Calistha solemnly. Behind him Sybil smiled triumphantly while looking at Zurich with a mocking look. Right now he felt very benefited because Calistha believed him. Even the current Calistha was right in front of him, it would be very easy for him if he wanted to kill Calistha from behind like this.

"Your Majesty must leave now, she is not a good woman, she is a black witch who will harm you."

Finally Zurich decided to open his voice to help Aiden. He sees that Aiden has run out of patience and is eager to hit Calistha, but Zurich still asks him to be patient because Zurich is worried, the witch will attack Calistha directly if Aiden is determined to come forward and attack the witch.

"Who are you? Why are you defending Aiden, can't you see how weak this woman is? He just got hit by a disaster."

"Fuck you, Cals, I don't care if you're gonna walk away from my side."

With a definite twist, Aiden immediately walked through Calistha's body to reach the evil witch. But the magician swiftly directed his black magic to flip the sword that Aiden was holding to turn against Calistha. As much as possible Aiden held back the sword in order not to stab Calistha. Zurich who saw it also directly helped Aiden by giving an attack on Sybil and made the evil woman fall backward.

Meanwhile, Calistha had suddenly become a dazed woman who seemed clueless with all the strange things that had just happened. Aiden, Sybil, and Zurich looked equally tired. He was confused and did not know what to do. Aiden's screaming voice told him to go as far away from the room as possible, not even he ignored. He just continued to look at the three humans confused while standing dazed in his original place.

"Calistha.... hurry up and go!" aiden was impatient. The man was no longer strong enough to resist the sword move so as not to stab Calistha, while the sword could not be released from his hand either. It was like there was a strong adhesive that held the sword together with his right palm.

"You won't be able to block that sword from killing its target because that spell is the strongest spell and no magician can break it." sybil said with a satisfied smile to Aiden and Calistha. Zurich who was furious with Sybil's behavior immediately cast a deadly spell and managed to make Sybil faint. Zurich then tried various spells that he knew could be used to undo Sybil's magic, but all of the spells he spoke felt futile because they could not be used to break Sybil's deadly spell. With a split breath, Aiden finally ordered Zurich to take Calistha away from the room, because his hand was not strong enough to resist the sword movement. At this moment the sword was already near Calistha's neck and almost pierced Calistha's veins, if only Aiden did not hold it with all the strength he had.

"Hurry and take Calistha away! This sword will really kill Calistha."

"Aiden, you, I don't want to leave you alone."

Calistha's consciousness finally returned. His two eyes had been flooded by so many tears, flowing down soaked his two smooth cheeks. Zurich immediately pulled Calistha's hand out and did not let Calistha linger in the room with Aiden. It would be very dangerous if Aiden could not hold the sword again and would instead kill Calistha.

"Let me go, I want to help Aiden." Calistha cried out thrashing while trying to get her hand out of Zurich's hand. Time and again Calistha kept looking back to see how Aiden was currently. He was afraid of all the terrible things that had just happened before his eyes. And now he feels regret for defending the evil witch who actually killed him.

"Your Majesty must leave immediately, king Aiden cannot hold the sword any longer. If you're determined to be in there, you'll be killed."

"But what about Aiden? That sword could kill him, too."

            "You just calm down. I'll...."

            "Aghhhh!!"

The reflexes of the two of them instantly turned their heads back as Aiden's moaning echoed so loudly behind them. Feeling that Zurich was off guard, Calistha immediately ran away to approach Aiden who could not hold the sword any longer. The sound of Zurich's screams constantly warning him not to come closer sounded so loud behind him, but not at all

cared for by Calistha, he prefers to approach Aiden who looks tired to hold his golden sword that looks increasingly rebellious from the grasp of his hand.

            "Cals, don't come any closer!"

"No. I want to help you." Calistha replied tenaciously. Finally Aiden could do nothing but aim the sword at his own body. Calistha's heartbreaking cry, shouting Aiden's name, sounded so loud as Aiden's body decayed onto the floor.

"Aiden, no! What are you doing, Aiden...."

Calistha cried bitterly while shaking the weak body of Aiden who had been drenched in blood. The woman then pulled the golden sword from Aiden's left chest and told Zurich to heal Aiden's gaping wound with her spell.

"Aren't you a witch? Quickly heal Aiden with your spell, Aiden looks very tormented." cried Calistha impatiently. Zurich then tried his healing spell on Aiden, but the spell was only limited to inhibiting the bleeding that occurred in Aiden's left chest because the spell used Sybil was not easy to break. Only Sybil can break the spell, because he cast the spell on Aiden. But unfortunately Sybil is currently in a state of unconsciousness because Zurich has just attacked the witch with his deadly spell.

"I can't heal that wound, only Sybil can do it because he did it."

Calistha immediately let out a frustrated scream as she patted Aiden's cheek many times. He was afraid of losing Aiden, he was really afraid of being abandoned by the man.

"Aiden. Please wake up, forgive me."

            "Cals, Arghhh."

Aiden called out to Calistha quietly while enduring the intense pain in his chest. He felt like he was going to die soon, the pain was truly unbearable and excruciating.

"Aaaiden, hang. Zurich is trying to wake Sybil up. You'll be cured, yes you'll be healed."

Those words felt like reinforcing words to himself, as he was currently unsure of Aiden's recovery. The man's wounds were really severe and incurable, but his little heart kept encouraging him not to be pessimistic and to be optimistic about his belief that Aiden would recover.

            "Cals, I can't......"

            "Aiden!! Aiden, wake. Aidens! Aidens!"

The two eyes finally closed perfectly weakly on Calistha's lap. It turned out that his strength was only that. He could not maintain his consciousness any longer and chose to surrender with God's destiny. And if God wills him to die, he will die gladly and with peace.

So, is this what death feels like?
