        At night, Aiden was still awake and sipping a glass of red wine. The man closed his eyes and began to remember his long-forgotten good times. The sound of laughter and shrill screams filled his cavities as he recalled his happy past. At that time his father and mother were still alive and they often spent time together with happiness. Every morning he always smelled the aroma of apple pie so fragrant results of his mother's cooking. Although her mother was the queen, her mother often went to the kitchen to make her favorite apple pie. After that his mother will sneak into his room while teasing him with the aroma of apple pie is so fragrant and savory, a blend of fragrant cinnamon, fragrant slightly sour apple, and sweet, as well as the savory aroma of butter, all of that he will never forget. Aiden's Mind

        A wounded-looking man and a middle-aged woman were limping through such a dense forbidden forest. The atmosphere around them was so dark and gripping, making the middle-aged woman shiver with fear. But, the son looked so calm, as he was already used to going into the forbidden forest to hunt. However, the gaping stab wound on his stomach made the man shiver in pain every time he forced himself to move his legs. Next to her the queen looked at her concerned son while telling her son to rest for a while as he felt so tired.

        "Max, we're stopping here for a while, mom's so tired" said the queen, helping Max sit on a fallen tree branch. Max gasped for breath while moaning stifled because the wound on his stomach was so deep and needed immediate help. It's just that in this forest there is absolutely no human passing by, which they can ask for help, so for a while Max must be patient and try to forget the pain by closing his eyes.

        "Mom hates that cheap lady. It should have been from the beginning that your father had not accepted it to ask for protection of our kingdom." angered his mother again for the umpteenth time. Max then opened his eyes while looking at his mother with a glare. He was tired of listening to all his mother's disturbing bluffs. But, he could not do much to assuage his mother's anger, as he himself now felt so exhausted with the gaping stab wound on his stomach.

        "Max, are you okay? Why are you just quiet?" asked her mother in panic while shaking her son's shoulder. With a huff Max instantly opened his eyes while staring at his mother sharply.

        "Mother, please stop to disturb my composure. I was trying to get rid of the pain I was feeling. And please stop cursing Calistha, because none of this is her fault" Max said weakly. But the mother snorted dislikefully at her son because he was clearly still siding with Calistha after what she had done to him and to her treasured kingdom.

        "Why do you always defend Calistha. She was just a cheap woman pretending to ask our kingdom for protection and afterwards she conspired with king Aiden to destroy us all. Did you never realize that!" his mother was angry. Apparently his anger at Calistha had reached his crown, so it would be difficult for Max to give an explanation to his mother who had been enveloped by the hatred.

        "Calistha is not that kind of girl. She's a good girl. Calistha left because the mother asked king Aiden to take her. Why did mom do that? We should have protected him and defended him." Max was disappointed in himself. The queen then looked back at her son with a face of anger and disbelief. After what Calistha did to his kingdom,

the man was still defending the cheap woman, making her feel arrogant towards her own son. After all, if he did not hand Calistha over to the cruel king, then his son would be the target. Of course he didn't want that to happen. So he had better hand over the totally worthless Calistha to king Aiden.

        "Here you go, I don't want to talk about that cheap woman anymore. He must now be laughing at us from behind the walls of the magnificent royal palace of Chronos. If mother had the chance, mother would definitely kill Calistha with her own mother's hands." her mother's promise of determination was simply ignored by Max. He did not want to prolong the confrontation with his mother any longer, so he better keep quiet while closing his tired eyes.

the rustling sound of the leaves behind him panicked and immediately hugged Max. He thought it was the soldiers of the Chronos kingdom who were on patrol, but after the man showed his face, the two humans became a little calmer, but kept their guard up.

        "I'm sorry if I surprised you. I am Gazelle, one of the members of the rebels who hates the kingdom of Chronos. I heard you guys hate that kingdom too. What exactly happened to you guys?" asked Gazelle gently full of deceit. The queen who saw that Gazelle was harmless immediately pulled Gazelle

to sit next to him and hear all his stories.

        "Thank God you're not a soldier of the Khronos kingdom on patrol. I am the queen of the kingdom of Hora, and this is my son Max."

        "Oh, Your Majesty forgive me."

        Suddenly Gazelle knelt in front of the queen and Max, but was soon pulled over by Queen Hora because she felt Gazelle did not need to bow respectfully to her again, because he is now just a vagrant.

        "Ah is not necessary. Sit next to me, now that my son and I are no longer members of the kingdom, we have now become vagabonds because the cruel king attacked our kingdom and took all our possessions without remaining." the queen began to burn again. Gazelle seemed to smile cynically next to the queen, but it did not escape Max's eagle eyes. The man knew that there was something strange in Gazelle, but he could not deduce it now, because everything was still very blurry to see.

        "Our group had also just been attacked by King Aiden's army, but we managed to escape

before the Khronos kingdom soldiers managed to kill us all. Now we were all setting up our camp outside the forbidden forest in the southwest. If you want, you and Prince Max can join us. And our healer can treat Prince Max's wounds." Gazelle said softly and looked tantalizing. The queen then immediately clasped Gazelle's hand while saying thank you many times. But, again he could not see it from the woman's face. As she was thinking, Gazelle suddenly turned her face towards Max with a mysterious smile. The two of them stared at each other for a long time, until Max decided to end their eye contact and chose to look at the street in front of him that looked pitch-black. However, Max suddenly felt Gazelle whispering something near his ear in such a horrible and vengeful tone.

        "You and I, we'll definitely be great partners to take what's supposed to be ours." Gazelle's whisper was slow before she looked straight at the dense street before her, not caring about the puzzled grimness on Max's forehead who kept thinking about her words with a suspicious feeling.

Aiden's Mind End

        Aiden gasped for breath while trying to normalize his crazy heartbeat. Again and again

his head whirled about what he really did not want to know, if in the end he had to pay for the curiosity with such terrible pain in his head. Aiden then tried to lean on the back of the chair while closing his eyes slowly. Now that he has figured out what Gazelle is planning to do with her rebel group, tomorrow he will ask Spencer to keep an eye on Gazelle and send one of his best soldiers undercover into the group

Suddenly a warm hand touched the skin of his face gently, making Aiden feel lulled by the soothing soft touch. But, when he realized that the touch was not his hallucination, Aiden immediately opened his eyes vigilantly while looking at the owner of the hand with a piercing glare.

        "Aa.. Are you okay? Why does time in this kingdom seem to stop?" calistha asked frantically as she looked fearfully at Aiden's gaze which was looking at her sharply.
