        Calistha awoke from her sleep with breathless breathing and hunting. He just experienced one

what a horrible dream. He then flicked the silk blanket with a huff because he felt he needed a glass of water to calm himself who was still overwhelmed with fear. Slowly, Calistha began to walk down the red carpet that lay in her room while looking at her head to and fro. The palace hallway was very quiet

        At first glance Calistha saw several guards standing around her room, but strangely the guard looked silent like a statue. He then decided to step back, down every hallway of the palace that was so quiet and silent. Although he knew that all the inhabitants of the palace must be sleeping tired in their rooms, but the atmosphere in this palace was truly terrible. He felt he was walking in

a dead palace that was so quiet and silent. Suddenly Calistha felt all her hair bristling. With a feeling that began to waver, Calistha tried to wipe her own arm to encourage her heart that began to fear. After walking for quite a while and continuing to swirl around, Calistha decided to

But the soldier did not seem to respond to his words and just kept silent while looking straight ahead. Calistha then tried to touch the soldier's shoulder slowly, but the reaction remained the same, the soldier remained silent as he stared straight at the wall in front of him. Doubtfully, Calistha tried to move her hands in front of the soldier. But, the soldier still fluttered in his place without moving a single bit. He then tried to approach another soldier who was also standing not far from where the first soldier stood. But again the soldier did not move at all and just silently looked straight ahead. With a feeling of fear, Calistha began to walk again down the long hallway of the Khronos kingdom. He faintly heard a moaning coming from a door at the end of the hall. For a moment he immediately stopped stepping while observing the door at the end of the passageway for a long time. A few hours ago, at dinner, Sunny said

to him if the door at the end of the hall is the door of King Aiden's room. And that room was the private room of king Aiden, only certain people were allowed to go in there. Recalling that, Calistha became hesitant to step her foot in there. But, he was so curious about all the strangeness that occurred within this kingdom. He then turned to look at the large wooden wall clock that was right next to him. Surprisingly, the clockwork on the wooden clock stopped turning. The hour hand was precisely stopped at the number eleven over fifty-nine minutes, where one more minute should be the clock was clanging loudly. Calistha then tried to touch the wooden clock while frowning in wonder. The watch was fixed, but it was completely dead and completely motionless.

        "Armgh."

        The sound of groans so loud that Calistha re-awakened from the various thoughts that haunted her. Quickly he walked towards the large door that was towering solidly at the end of the hallway to see Aiden's situation inside. He felt he had to meet with Aiden right now to ask for an explanation from the man about the strange that happened in this kingdom.

        Calistha stood hesitantly in front of the brown door that looked so towering before her. From outside Calistha could still hear Aiden's moaning in pain. Although he hated the cruel king so much, but his curiosity for this kingdom was much greater, so he finally tried to reconcile a little with his ego and decided to enter the private room of King Aiden.

        Slowly Calistha began to push the wooden door and as much as possible he tried not to cause

any noise. The first impression when he saw the entire contents of Aiden's room was that it was so dark and only illuminated by the moonlight that penetrated from the large window glass near the fireplace. From where he stood, Calistha could see Aiden groaning in pain while holding his head as if he were experiencing an invisible torment. When Calistha had stepped closer to Aiden, she could see a red stain clearly imprinted on the carpet, as well as a glass glass that had been smashed to pieces under her feet. Although Calistha initially thought that the red stain was blood, but after he saw a bottle of wine that was still half on the king's desk, he saw a bottle of wine, Calistha immediately concluded that the red stain was not a blood stain, but a wine spill stain that seeped on the carpet belonging to Aiden. He then stepped closer to Aiden and tried to touch the man's face, which still seemed to be in pain. Although the man no longer groaned, but

he was seen regulating the roar of his breath that was still hunting, leaving a breath that was so tight hit the skin of his hand which was currently perched on the cheek of the man while continuing to wipe it to provide comfort. Somehow, after seeing Aiden calmer, Calistha also felt calmer and not too panicked as before. It felt like he was connected to that man.

        "Aa.. Are you okay? Why does time in this kingdom seem to stop?"

        Aiden stared intently at Calistha while observing the woman's face fixedly. He saw the fear and panic that was clearly printed on the woman's face. But did he just ask her how she was? Did the woman just worry about her situation?

Could he be worried about me?

        "What are you doing in my room?" aiden asked coldly and flatly, trying to intimidate Calistha into having the woman fear him. However, that was not in accordance with his expectations, because Calistha actually returned to being a cynical and haughty woman as usual. All of the gentle sides he had just seen suddenly disappeared from the woman, leaving her a little disappointed and feeling lost. Honestly she prefers the gentle side of Calistha which is so soothing and makes her look prettier than ever. But never mind, all that gentleness was never real. Calistha will always hate him and regard him as the most evil man in the world.

        "I just want to ask you why everyone on the outside seems to be motionless, even clockwork. What exactly is going on in this kingdom?" ask Calistha gusar. Aiden scrunched his forehead while pretending to be confused. Though he clearly knew the cause of all the strangeness seen by Calistha. But he knew that Calistha must not have gotten used to all the strangeness, so for a while he would pretend not to know and assume Calistha was crazy. After all, it would be nice if he could tease Calistha and make her yell out the bars in front of him.

        "Are you kidding me? That can't be happening. Do you think my kingdom is haunted?"

        "But it's really happening, I'm not lying." Calistha retorted fieryly, trying to convince Aiden with all her stories. But, Aiden seemed to really want to make Calistha riled up and get even more angry because he did not believe the woman's words.

        Actually strange events as seen by Calistha have often occurred in his kingdom or in other kingdoms. When Aiden starts to get a vision of the future, usually the time around him will stop for a moment, even with everyone around him. However, there is one person who will never be affected when time is at a standstill, Calistha. Since Calistha is Aiden's partner, Calistha will not be affected by what happens around Aiden.

        "I'm sorry princess, but all the things you're talking about aren't real. Maybe you're dreaming." said Aiden calmly, but a little mocking. In his heart Aiden was so satisfied because he managed to make his queen become angry and look more savage with fangs that almost came out. Maybe he only takes a few seconds to hear all the swearing that always comes out of the thin lips exciting.

        "I'm not dreaming! It's hard to tell if what I saw was real and I was conscious as I walked into your room. Why don't you trust me?"

        "Because you don't want to trust me either." replied Aiden quickly. Calistha then thought of proving her words to Aiden. She obviously did not want to lose to the man and was branded as a braggart.

        "Then you see for yourself now outside. I will show it to you." said Calistha arrogantly while folding both hands in front of the chest. Aiden watched the woman standing haughty with her eyebrows raised upwards as she stared amusedly at Calistha. He was so satisfied because he had

it made the woman angry with him. He swore, he would tease Calistha more often after this.

        "Well, I'll see it with you. But, if all your words are not true, what will you do? What gift am I gonna get?"

        "Gift? Do you think we're betting?" ask Calistha not to like it. Why did the man seem to want to look for an opportunity amidst his confusion.  He will not give anything to her if what he says is wrong and only hallucinations.

        "There is no prize. You better get up now and see for yourself how things are going

it's weird out there" said Calistha, panted and impatient. Since then the man has continuously annoyed him with his annoying and arrogant attitude. And how unlucky that he is now trapped in the kingdom of the man he hates most in the world.

        "No way." Calistha muttered next to Aiden. The man looked at Calistha confusedly while raising his eyebrows in astonishment. However, a second later he was able to understand the intent of Calistha's restrained mutterings.

        "What's wrong? Looks like they're okay."

        "Good night, Your Majesty, good night Queen Calistha." greet one of the soldiers standing next to Aiden's room. Aiden returned the greeting with a brief nod that seemed flat, while Calistha, the woman was still glued to the spot in shock. A few minutes ago, I was so sure of what he saw. However, now that belief simply vanished from him, and was replaced with an overwhelming feeling of shame. He then glanced at Aiden's face while biting his lips nervously. Inwardly he kept on alluding to himself who had been acting foolishly in front of Aiden. Moreover, a few minutes ago he unconsciously stroked Aiden's cheek with a face of panic and fear. After this Aiden will definitely think of her as a cheap woman, like the other women out there who casually enter into her personal space without permission.

        "Look, you seem to be too depressed. Come on, I'll take you to the room. I'm worried, you'll

hallucinate again if I let you walk alone." said Aiden flat, but hidden tones of ticklish in each sentence. The man was eager to laugh out loud in front of Calistha, laughing at the stupid face of the woman who was seen grumbling next to him. Suddenly Aiden frowned in surprise.

Have I fallen for his charm?

        "Hey, I'm not depressed! You don't have to take me. I can walk myself to my room." cried Calistha did not accept, making her instantly aware of her slightly silly daydream in her opinion.

        "I'm not sure about that. You better shut up and don't argue." said Aiden firmly while passing by towards Calistha's room. Behind him Calistha seemed to snort bitterly while following the cruel king's footsteps in silence. He was very upset with Aiden's attitude. The cruel king was clearly laughing at him from behind his towering sturdy body.

"Huh, why the king

that pervert is so annoying! Just watch out, I will definitely destroy it and

made him bend his knees to me. I won't let him trample on the price

        "you reckon? It seems to accompany you until you fall asleep will be fun. I can keep you from hallucinating again and wandering around my palace in a half-depressed state."

        "Don't hope! Get out quickly, or I'll call the soldiers to drag you down." threatening Calistha loudly who only Aiden responded with a small ruckus. For a moment Calistha felt stunned by Aiden's small ruckus that sounded so melodious in her ears. He thought the cruel king could not laugh and only spent his entire life getting angry and killing.

        "Go to your bed, I won't do anything to you."

        "I don't want to! If you don't come out of my room, I won't go up my bed and close my eyes. I'm sure you must be thinking obscene things in your brain and planning to attack me when I fall asleep later. You sly man!" maki Calistha is hard and manages to get Aiden a little hooked. Even though tonight he just wanted to show his good side to the woman, but Calistha just continued to throw spicy words that are not very good to hear. It turned out that the woman did not deserve to be treated gently. She deserves to be treated like any other cheap woman.

        "If you don't want to, then I'll force you. Quickly go up and sleep." hissed Aiden furiously while gripping Calistha's wrist firmly. The man then immediately threw Calistha into his bed to make Calistha scream in pain because his head hit the bedpost slightly. But, uh,

Aiden looked unconcerned with Calistha's agonizing moans and instead brought his face closer towards Calistha while grinning horribly in front of the woman's face.

        "Next time you have to obey me more, baby, before I hurt you any further."

        "Based on a cruel man! You devil! Get out of my room." Calistha replied loudly, trying to counter the intimidating aura released by Aiden. The man seemed to look at Calistha flat, before he bowed his head and kissed Calistha's long and tender forehead. After that he immediately walked away from Calistha's room while slamming the large door in Calistha's room loudly, leaving a loud thud amid the quiet atmosphere that occurred in the quiet palace hallway. While Calistha still stared in disbelief while fingering his forehead many times. He never thought Aiden would be that gentle to him, though he eventually brought up his rough side by slamming the door. But the man didn't kiss her with.
