Chapter 2 - Snow forest

A while later, his body began to recover and form a different structure. His body was human-skinned but felt cold and strong, his hair was also plain white. In addition, the blue veins that flowed through his body at every corner did not disappear and clung neatly.

When he started to regain consciousness, his eyes opened giving off a bright blue light in his eyeballs. He got up and looked at the surroundings that had not changed since his body evolved.

Before he started to say anything, he looked at his hand that had turned into human skin. But more than that, his mind now felt chaotic.

Strange memories entered his lonely head, perhaps memories were not the right words, but information about this world. He gained a general knowledge of the world and its contents.

There are many differences with the earth, which he certainly realizes that this world is not hell, and he is not in the afterlife, but transferred to a different world.

"Is this real? I'm in isekai?"

His tone was now as calm as snow and his face turned cold and stared around flatly. In addition to his different body and appearance, his nature merged with his flat face and formed a different trait.

Now he can't help but accept his new self, he's no longer the man who works in the office every day. But now he was a human who came from the rim race.

Realizing that, he got up and walked forward, his different body did not disturb his balance, instead he walked comfortably without interruption.

Among that information, the rim race was one of them. If you look at it again, louis is a rim race. The rim race itself was a race formed due to the crossbreeding between humans and ice dragons. So you could say the rim race was a half-dragon human who had gone through thousands of years of painful evolution.

Thousands of years ago, the rim race settled in the northern "Shadow forest" and often helped humans to elves in the southern part of the continent, whether it was war, food and others. Because they think humans are their real race.

As a result, humans and elves who received the rim's goodwill often assumed that the rim were their close relatives and most trusted allies, establishing friendly relations for thousands of years without anyone breaking them.

On the other hand, in contrast to their other relatives, dragons consider the rim race the disgrace of the dragons and often cause terror around their settlements. This made the rim start to be displaced and settle far north deep and wild.

They arrived at the "Northern Interior" which was very far from human civilization in the south. As a result, their contact with humans is reduced, not only because they are far, far away, also because of the steep and dangerous road to the disturbing ice storms and threats from the dragons made the rim that went south to trade and build relationships reduced.

Until thousands of years pass, their relationship is severed due to the absence of interaction that occurs.

In addition to the history of the rims, their characteristics are also evident in Louis's memory, they have a similar stature to humans and a diverse face, what sets it apart is that the eyeballs of the rims are always bright blue like ice dragons, on the back they also have sharp bones that protrude slightly outwards similar to dragons.

In the skin, unlike humans, the veins of the hands of the rims are bright blue that penetrates their outer skin, this makes them have characteristics that are slightly different from humans.

"I know a little bit about the rim now. If you recall, I'm currently in the North interior close to the rim."

After the rim arrived in the northern interior, their settlements numbered not one or two, they even formed different groups or tribes led by chieftains.

After hundreds of years, they built a flourishing civilization and their territories were turned into cities one after another. In fact, their small settlements began to develop into villages to large cities.

The nearest small town in its present place is the town of "Oirat", which has a population of no more than 15,000 rim. That was a huge sum for a small town rim race.

In Minecraft, players usually start from destroying trees, but here is not like the game. The tree was so thick and hard, the fragile rim hand could not break it.

Rather than cutting down trees, twigs were more than enough, besides, there was a system that helped with craft skills suitable for survival in the wild made it very easy.

Moments later, the branches scattered around the forest began to gather and pile up a large area in the middle of the forest.

The sweat? How could it come out in a cold place like this, the rim had resistance to the cold of the snow and would not freeze even having to dive into the water, it was one of the natural abilities of the rims.

After gathering so many wooden twigs, Louis sat on a pile of snow looking at the pile of wooden twigs in front of him.
