Part 27 - Cheap Once

Aurorae stared far out the window. His right hand was holding a cell phone, and his left hand was gently rubbing his distended stomach.

Several times he snorted. I don't know what's weighing on his mind.

“Something happens?” Dea, who had been paying attention since, finally approached.

Aurorae looked over to show off a smile. “No.” He moved up, sitting slowly on one of the chairs.

“Or maybe not.” He replied, this time without smiling.

Dea held out a glass of dragon fruit juice.

“Whatever something happens , don't overload your mind too heavy.” Dea pulled the chair to get closer.

He stared at the soft Aurorae.

“Don't look at me like that, I feel so pathetic.” Aurorae.

“Ingin story?”

“What can? “ Aurorae turned her head with a glare.

“It feels like I want to cry , but don't know what makes me so sad.” His eyes began to glaze over.

“You quarreled with Mr Juno?” Dea stared probing.

And Aurorae shook her head slowly.

“No. If possible, I would rather just fight with Mas Juno, in order to have a reason to let out all my feelings.” Aurorae brushed away the falling tears.

Dea was silent, giving Aurorae more storytelling opportunities. He just kept wiping the pregnant woman's back slowly.

“Today I met Megumi. Seeing his face made me very angry. I remembered again when a few months ago he slandered me, creating a misunderstanding between me and Mas Juno.”

Aurorae took a momentary pause, taking a slow breath.

“More, he mocked me, reminding again how Mas Juno scolded me back then.”

Aurorae. “That woman, I really want to grab her. But I ended up holding myself back well.”

Aurorae told Dea everything. When she met Megumi, when Megumi discussed again the incident months ago, when Megumi leaned in to scorn her. Everything was.

“Other times just jam , pull her hair until it falls out in your grasp. Why bother holding back?” Dea squealed in annoyance.

Aside from what Aurorae told her, it was also because of what the woman had done with her ex-sister-in-law.

Aurorae sob faster, making Dea less bearable. He pulled Aurorae in his arms, gently rubbing her back.

“I don't know how I feel. Reuniting with Megumi, it suddenly brings up a painful feeling of tightness. I don't know what makes me so hurt, I don't know. Is it because of the events of months ago, or the fact that the woman was also my husband's wife. I don't know, Ma'am.” Aurorae still continued to sob in Dea's arms.

Dea grunted slowly. “Rae , you know very well how to get Pak Juno to leave Megumi.”

Aurorae raised her face.

Staring at Dea worried.

“I.. fear.”

“At whom?”

Aurorae. “I'm afraid, Mas Juno will be very hurt, if you know Megumi betrayed their marriage."

She was crying again.

I don't know what made him so sad. Wouldn't it be nice if Herjuno finally left Megumi? She could have her husband alone.

Dea grunts sebal. “Listen , whatever happens , just think of you and your baby. Eat well, get enough rest. Do whatever makes you happy. Miscellaneous matters, let it pass only, do not let it settle in your head this.” He shuffled the Aurorae's hair.

It feels really upset. He wanted to tell Herjuno how Megumi was in a relationship with her former sister-in-law. If necessary, he wanted to say it in front of everyone who knew Megumi.

Aurorae was not ready to see it. As much as Herjuno loves Megumi, Aurorae fears it will hurt her.

Dea took a slow breath.

“Ah , I like really have two sisters now.” He pinched the squash next to Aurorae's cheek.

Aurorae. “Where's Dira? Why didn't he come today?”

Dira is the younger brother of Dea. Satya's ex-wife. They divorced four months ago.

“Sedang picked up my mom at station.” Dea glanced at his wrist. “I have to go back to the office. Lunch time is running out.”

He rushed over, grabbed a small bag at table , then stepped out.

“Really? Mother visit?” aurorae shouted before Dea completely came out.

“Hum. Will stay at Dira.”'s house Screech Dea before getting into her car.

Aurorae smiles. Look at the speed of Dea's car from behind the window.

He never thought it would be this close to Dea. In the past while still working in the same office, they rarely even chatted. Only say hello if you accidentally cross paths.

Dira's divorce with Satya a few months ago, slowly keeps Aurorae close to Dea and her family. Until they decide to build a small business together, even though Dea still works in his office.

Aurorae. Walking up to his phone that was ringing.

“Ya Mas?”

“Have lunch?”

“Already , just with Mbak Dea at ruko.” Her smile expanded just by hearing the small attention from her husband.

“Mas want what for dinner later?” ask again.

Herjuno fell silent, confused as to what to answer. Today it was time for Herjuno to return home to Aurorae, but Megumi just called to ask Herjuno to come home because she was not feeling well.

Herjuno doesn't want to hurt Aurorae, but leaving Megumi alone with only Bi Lilis and the kids feels impossible as well.

“Ehm.” Herjuno dehem slowly. “I'll eat whatever my wife cooks.”

So sweet. Makes Aurorae blush.

“Good. I'm gonna stop by Dira's house for a second, 'cause Mom's visiting. I'll be home soon before four in the afternoon.”

“Be careful on the road, driving safely!” herjuno said a little annoyed. He has repeatedly told Aurorae to stop driving by herself. It is better to take a taxi if Herjuno cannot deliver. But his wife did not comply. Always said he was strong.

Aurorae. “Good. After all Dira's house is not too far away, in the direction of home.”

“Don't be too tired. It's okay to cook when you're tired. Choose food order just drop-off.”

Aurorae blushed again. “Good. See you at home Mas.”

Aurorae cupped her cheeks after the phone connection was cut off.

He flushed again.

Ah, this is how happy it is. So cheap.

He chuckles.

Then he grabbed his bag and car keys.

“I'll be home now. Contact me or Mbak Dea if there is anything urgent.” Message to one of the employees before leaving.
