Section 56 - Children of Others

This afternoon, Herjuno did not return to the office. He prefers to go home to Aurorae, it is not too late to fix everything.

It was only a fifteen minute drive from the court to the Aurorae house, but Herjuno was very impatient. He hit the steering wheel when the road was very crowded. His cry should not be asked again, as it did not run out of water from inside his eyes came out.

Herjuno jumped out of his car. Pressing the bell repeatedly but there was no answer.

Herjuno returned to the car, took the keys to the house he was holding and then darted inside, half running he climbed upstairs without paying attention to his surroundings.

There was no one in the children's room. As he pushed hard on the main room door, there was no one there either.

Herjuno turned around, reached into his pocket to pick up the phone.

But his hand just hangs before he can call anyone. He turned back, staring into the room.

As if realizing something, half-running Herjuno approached the closet.

Blank.

There were only a few strands of shirts hanging, as well as some neatly folded clothes. It's all his.

Herjuno retreated until he touched the bed. She sat down, her crying getting louder.

Herjuno knocks impatiently at the door of Gumilar's house. The house he lived in at the beginning of his marriage with Aurorae.

Gumilar smiled and invited Herjuno to come inside.

"Dad, where's Rae? I've just come from home but there's no one" Herjuno said before actually sitting on the living room couch.

"Dad to the room for a minute. Look at yourself in the fridge what's the drink." Gumilar stepped away leaving Herjuno alone.

And when he came back, his forehead frowned at not seeing any bottles of drink on the table, so he turned towards the kitchen, taking a bottle of cold mineral water from inside the fridge.

"Here are the supermarket CCTV footage of your wives arguing. Also CCTV from the shop across the street." Gumilar twitched his chin pointing at a convenience store that was right across the street from Gumilar's house.

"Where are Rae and the kids, Dad?" Herjuno did not heed Gumilar's words, he only cared about the whereabouts of his wife and children.

"There was. They're doing just fine. No need to worry."

"Well, I-I-"

"Give time to Aurorae alone, Juno. He'll call you later."

"Bring this. So that there is no doubt about what happened in the past." Gumilar again pushed a small envelope in front of Herjuno.

Honestly, it was eager for Herjuno to go to Dea to let the woman know where Aurorae and her children were. Dea would know. The woman will not tell him easily, so even though she had to rest all night outside the house Dea will do.

Herjuno swallowed his saliva roughly. There was no way she should go to Dea's house, how would her husband respond later? It might just add new problems.

It was already very late in the afternoon if Herjuno returned to the office now, so he decided to just go home to Megumi.

Remembering Megumi, her chest rumbled.

Since then, he had only focused on how to meet the Aurorae. But now, as her car drove towards Megumi's house, her anger overflowed.

"Good shit Megumi." Herjuno muttered a little and hit the wheel.

Herjuno pushed the front door rough, he went deeper into the area of his house. The tip of his eye caught Megumi cutting fruit on the dining table.

Without saying anything, Herjuno pulls Megumi's hand rough.

"Mas , what the fuck? Off!" Megumi thrashed, stomping Herjuno's hand that was gripping her.

Megumi took two steps back when Herjuno would take her hand back.

"Control yourself! There's Haidar." he whispered. Hope Herjuno softens a little.

But baby, that guy doesn't care anymore.

"alright. I'm fine talking here. Doesn't it matter your son heard what his mother was doing?" Herjuno grinned without slowing down his voice.

Megumi was shocked. The tip of his eye caught Bi Lilis with the same reaction. And Haidar who also immediately turned his head, looked at his parents.

"Bi please take the kids for a walk out." Slightly shaking, Megumi asked for space for her to talk to Herjuno.

And Bi Lilis simply nodded obediently, then led Haidar along with Zhafran to come out. Nadia has not returned from school.

"How come you are, my mom! Not loving me is okay but don't say anything bad in front of Haidar!" Megumi squealed in annoyance as she heard the sound of the front door closing.

"You really love your son, Megumi. To the point of not caring about someone else's child."
