Section 60 - Eight Years Later

Eight years passed very quickly. Aurorae lived her life happily. There was no reason for him to continue lamenting. For what , there are adorable children who always accompany him.

"Is Brother Shasa coming too?" Ryana who was sitting next to her mother gave a cheerful shriek.

"Hum, Aunt Dea said Brother Shasa is coming too." Aurorae only looks at the moment because she is focusing on driving.

"Ck." Ryan who was sitting in the back was just stifling annoyed.

"Why, Bang?" Aurorae stared at him from the glass before her.

"Girls are very noisy. They must be a fuss, ma'am." Ryan looks bad.

Aurorae just chuckled. His son was somehow down from whom , his attitude was cold and irritable to talk.

If Ryana is chatty and likes the crowd, Ryan is like an anti-social child who if spoken to will only glance at a glance then nod or shake depending on what the answer is.

"Abang not invited!" Ryana looked no less upset.

"Be kind to Aunt Dea and Brother Shasa huh. They're taking their time to visit us." Aurorae glanced at Ryan again who was sitting at the back.

Today Aurorae takes Ryan and Ryana to the airport to pick up Dea who came to visit. Not without reason, because the arrival hour of the plane that Dea boarded is only thirty minutes from the hours of school children.

So instead of having to drive them home first, Aurorae chose to go straight to the airport.

Ryana let out a cheerful shriek as Shasa's chuckle, which Dea was holding, passed through the exit.

"Sister Shasa! Right here!" Ryan waved his hand.

The girl immediately jumped into Shasa's arms as Mom and the child got closer.

"Tante , long stay right?" tanyanya was impatient.

"Ryana, greetings to Aunt Dea!" Aurorae cut fast.

The girl inched closer to Dea and kissed her hand.

"How's Auntie doing?" ryana asked by showing off her row of white teeth.

"Ah, how sweet are you whose child is it?" Instead of answering 'em, Dea pulled Ryan's nose slowly.

"Mother Aurorae's son and Herjuno's father." replied the girl with a sumringah.

Everyone laughs. Except Ryan. He just stared flatly then approached Dea, kissing her hands politely.

"How's Auntie doing?" Ryan asked the same thing with his twin sister.

"The children grew up well." Dea muttered with a gaze that looked at Ryana and Shasa in the middle room.

Aurorae smiles. "Hum, I'm grateful." He placed a pile of several dishes on the bar table connected to the kitchen.

"Thank you for coming, Ma'am." he continued.

The two of them were helping Bi Izza cook for dinner. If anyone visits, Aurorae will arrange a dining table in the backyard, because there is no dining room at home, only a bar table connected to the kitchen.

From where they stand, it is clear that the atmosphere of the middle room inhabited by Gumilar with Ryana and Shasa. The three of them were laughing out loud, I don't know what's funny.

Shasa is not at all awkward, since childhood he knew Ryana and Ryan were his brothers. And Gumilar must have been like his own grandfather.

"Don't miss Bandung?" this time he pulled Aurorae's hand to sit in the backyard.

Aurorae smiles. "It's long. It's been eight years, surely a lot has changed." his gaze looked bright.

"Just "return. Om Gumilar must also miss looking at the house in Garut."

Aurorae. His father always took the time to go back to Garut once every year. But Aurorae and the twins, have not set foot there at all since eight years ago.

"You're okay, right?" Dea asked again because Aurorae was silent.

Aurorae turned, then nodded. "I'm just too awkward to go back."

Aurorae and Herjuno's relationship has improved. Herjuno managed to contact Aurorae after months of struggle.

They overcome misunderstandings, and forgive each other. There was no reason for the Aurorae to be vengeful. After all, he knew it was not Herjuno's fault. And the man showed how hard he tried to get sorry from the Aurorae.

And Aurorae received Herjuno to visit her home in Surabaya when the twins were two years old. Since then, Herjuno regularly comes once a month, for the twins.

Until now, they have communicated well. For the benefit of the twins, of course.

"Me and Dira are always waiting for when you'll be back, Rae. After all, Surabaya is a foreign place. There's no one else you have but the residents of this house."

Aurorae justifies the word Dea in the heart. In Bandung, he had Dea and Dira. There will be no trouble if he needs help. And the twins, will be able to spend more time with his father.

"I'll think about it, ma'am. If it's here, Bi Izza can't go back to his hometown often either."

"You have no intention of returning with Herjuno?"
