Part 69 - The Haidar Life Journey

Aurorae and Herjuno are compact. Did Haidar say that? Megumi's dead?

Aurorae has trouble swallowing her food. He overcame his surprise.

"Your mother died?" tanyanya made sure that he had not heard wrong.

Haidar nodded. "Two years ago. When I was in college it was the last semester."

Haidar raised his face. Staring at the Aurorae with teary eyes. "Tante , I'm sorry for all my mama's mistakes. I know, my mama's very guilty of aunt and sisters."

Aurorae's heart melos. Hearing Haidar call her children sisters, there was a warm corner of Aurorae's heart.

"Everything's long gone. Auntie hasn't been mad at your mama for a long time." Aurorae rubbed Haidar's arm again. He did not want to add to the boy's grief.

Throughout lunch, Herjuno was more silent. Regardless of how Megumi treated her in the past, Herjuno once loved her dearly. However much he hurt Herjuno, there was still much good he did.

Hearing that his ex-wife had died, there was regret in the corner of Herjuno's heart.

Why he never figured out Megumi's situation all along.

"I'm ashamed. And afraid that Papa would reject me." he replied softly making Herjuno feel even more guilty.

"I'm sorry Papa. Papa should be more attentive."

Of course Haidar did not blame Herjuno. He understood very well that he was no longer the responsibility of Herjuno. He was also a man, which man would raise the flesh of another man's blood, the result of his wife's affair.

Herjuno took care of him for two years while Megumi was in prison alone was more than enough, to demand more of course Haidar still knows himself.
