Episode 06: The Bracelet of the Curse

After confronting the God and the god leaving Ard, Ard had sworn an umpteenth time that he wanted to kill the Gods as his revenge.

"Fucking devil"

After that Ard tried to calm himself and sleep.

The next day...

Ard woke up from his sleep and he saw something next to him.

"What's this?" Ard tried to grab that thing.

After getting the object, Ard saw it and it turned out to be a bracelet-like object.

"Wristbands where is this, the feeling I never bought a bracelet?"

"That's all you can do" Ard took the bracelet and prepared to go down the stairs for breakfast.

As usual activities done Ard and his family, eating work and others.

Today Ard will do the plan he had been thinking about for a long time, which is to go on an adventure, but the main problem is that Ard must make excuses to Alfonso and Lilia in order to leave quietly.

After thinking for a few minutes Ard finally found a plan to fool Alfonso and Lilia , namely by reason of playing outside ,but there is another problem that if he is stuck while adventuring then he will definitely be sought by the two adoptive parents.

"Since I've been thinking, what's this bracelet?" Ard took the bracelet out of his pocket.

At first glance the bracelet looks the size of an adult's hand, Ard tried the bracelet, suddenly the bracelet shrunk and immediately fits on Ard's wrist.

Ard was surprised by it, he had suspected that this was a bracelet from the Gods but after he had a good look there was a name engraved on the bracelet.

"Hendrick Melio, who is he?" Ard read the name on the bracelet.

Ard begins to search for information about Hendrick Melio's name in the books he finds in his room.

But the result was nil because he could not find the name.

Ard plans to ask Alfonso when Alfonso returns.

While waiting for Ard also asked Lilia about something else.

"Mama, why does papa always come home in the afternoon?" Ard pretended to ask.

"Your father's ard is a knight who keeps the peace of the kingdom"

"oh yeah, thank you mama"

"same-same"

After that Ard wanted to go back to the room but he realized there was something strange that he felt since he wore the bracelet.

"what is this feeling?" Ard felt a dark aura enter his body as if the dark aura was eating Ard's nerves.

After that Ard suddenly fainted, this made Lilia panic.

"Ard..Ard wake!" Lilia tries to wake Ard, but Ard still does not wake up and Lilia takes Ard into her room.

In Ard Lilia's room was surprised to see the book there was a mess and there were some that were open.

Lilia laid Ard's body on the bed and tidied up the messy books, while Lilia was tidying up the messy book Lilia saw that Ard was wearing a bracelet.

"it's weird that we never bought a bracelet like that" Lilia felt weird why Ard had a bracelet that she never even bought.

Lilia looked at the bracelet up close and flipped Ard's hand, when behind Lilia saw the name listed, Hendrick Melio ,after seeing that Lilia felt strange because all this time she and Alfonso never had an acquaintance named Hendrick Melio.

After that Lilia came out of Ard's room and went to relax and think about Hendrick Melio's name.

A few minutes later Ard woke up but he had trouble moving, because he had just regained consciousness.

Ard felt that his hand hurt as if pressed something, Ard raised his hand to look at it despite some difficulty, Ard noticed that the bracelet he was wearing lit up on the part of Hendrick Melio's name.

"Damn it hurts!"

Ard tried to remove the bracelet, but the bracelet could not come off and instead made Ard's right wrist bleed.

"Damnya pain is the same as in the prick, like the punishment of God"

Ard realized that he had indirectly said about God's punishment.

"Damn I became like this must be because of that savage demon" Ard became even more annoyed.

Ard planned to cut off his own hand, but he abandoned his intention to harm himself.

Ard decided to keep wearing the bracelet despite his compulsion.

Ard came out of his room and he saw Alfonso had come home and talked to Lilia, Ard was curious what they were, so he wanted to eavesdrop on their conversation from his room.

"Sadly Ard suddenly fainted for some reason" Lilia explained the situation to Alfonso.

"Fainting!" Alfonso was shocked to hear Lilia's statement.

"is he okay?"

"for now he should still be lying on his bed"

"all right I'll see" Alfonso came to Ard's room.

"wet!" Ard who saw it rushed towards the bed and fell asleep to look faint.

When Alfonso entered he saw Ard lying on the bed, Alfonso checked Ard's neck and it turned out that Ard was a little hot, Alfonso thought that Ard had a fever.

"It looks like he's gonna have to rest first"

But Alfonso also saw Ard's bracelet and saw the name Hendrick Melio, after seeing it Alfonso was immediately surprised even to the point of almost bouncing.

Hearing the sound of falling, Lilia rushed to Ard's room and saw Alfonso had fallen and made some books fall.

"What's the matter, baby?" Lilia petrified Alfonso to his feet.

"Hendrick Melio!"

"oh yeah in Ard's bracelet there's that name, what's with that name?" The clueless Lilia asked why Alfonso was so shocked to read the name.

"Hendrick Melio is a man who is believed to sell his soul to demons to gain power, but after that he is cursed to be the guardian of a bracelet"

"What?" Lilia was shocked to hear Alfonso's statement.

"So that's a good story" Ard overheard the conversation and felt that it was a very good thing.

"With this bracelet I can get closer to fulfilling my ambitions"

"Then what should we do about her? , how could we both love her as our foster child" Lilia was very worried.

"It's okay we won't throw him away, we'll keep him until he's ready to go alone" Alfonso suggested.

"alright" Lilia assented even though she was crying.

"oh so yeah, good then I can be an adventurer if they kick me out, 'cause I seem to have had enough information here" thought Ard and after that he fell asleep.
