The Season of Love

The Season of Love
Mental Champion

Two days of the race were passed by the Eagle in sweat. The preliminaries were tough, the semi-finals were much harder and very tough. The eagle is in eighth, the last position of the participants who enter the final. It is also only narrowly superior to the nine-order freelance climbers who are shaded by a climbing club in Yogyakarta.

The final boulder and speed categories took quite a long wait. From the morning the student category has been contested, as well as for the public. This afternoon the final category of lead climbing which followed the new Eagle will compete. Fortunately, the Eagle breaks enough, the condition is also prime to finish the race.

All participants have warmed up and the opportunity to ormed (observing the climbing path or so-called field orientation). Eagles still use jackets to keep their body temperature warm.

Some friends from the mapala had seen him in the audience. The head of the mapala came to accompany the student section and two people from the foundation.

This is the second time the Eagle has received more attention from the campus during the race. Eagles are happy but also burdened with their presence. Fear of disappointment if the climb is not good, considering he qualified for the final in the lowest position of eight participants.

Not only that, the results of this race are quite decisive in approving the proposal of LPDN (National Wall Climbing Competition) which will be held in the framework of the celebration of the 25th mapala organization HUT on campus. Especially if it is not a matter of money. In addition, the foundation is selling its name and achievements as a magnet to attract prospective new students next year. As a campus ambassador, exactly .. artist campus!

The eagle must win, at least win three if it wants the share of the fund business that has submitted LPDN proposals to several sponsors to get a large contribution. Ah, the Eagle is really in great pressure in the race this time.

The sixth climber was creeping on the climbing board with music and cheers from the entire audience. The eagle sits waiting its turn behind the climbing wall that is being used. Tidy up his shoes and do light movements in preparation.

Deg-degan is still a little felt. Although this is the umpteenth race he participated in, but the burden of responsibility on his shoulder is the largest than before.

From afar, the Eagle could see his team of cheering gathered near the committee tent. Can't wait to get action. The eagle grimaced amusedly, why did not a single female fan come to cheer? Is the sport of wall climbing less desirable to not many female spectators? Less cool compared to basketball that there is always a cheerleading hurrah team?

Vivian was unlikely to attend because she was furious because her phone was picked up by another woman who claimed to be Eagle's fiancee. Mayra couldn't have come if the Eagle hadn't asked for it, and the Eagle didn't want to be seen by Mayra during the race. The only hope of the Eagle is only Nindya. Busy woman who can either come for him or not for not telling anything.

The whistle sounded, indicating the climbing time was up. The eagle heard a cheering clap, as well as some disappointed cries as the climber was unable to finish the path to the top.

The eagle lowered his head, praying. His name is called with a hardener, also mentioned the origin of the organization and institution that houses him as an athlete. The eagle walked confidently to the front of the wall, smiling at his team of cheers who were already screaming adrenaline-burning frenzies.

The safety rope was fastened by the belayer to the hardness of the Eagle with a double eight knot, and the Eagle was already on standby with white hands covered in magnesium carbonate powder. The eagle hopes his hands are not slippery when holding on to the point during climbing.

Before the whistle was blown as the time marker began, the Eagle found the face of his guidance counselor in another corner watching him. Smiling sweetly with one hand clenched in front of the chest and the language of the lips that look is saying 'lovely spirit' to her.

The eagle smiled too. His confidence rose a level and the champion spirit flared in his chest. He has to win for Nindya, and for that he will climb very carefully and calculatingly.

"Come on El, spirit!" Arga's loud voice beats the sound of music playing. The eagle asks for a special song to accompany him during his climbing. Dream Theater's song The Spirit Carries On.

The eagle rotates the brain, overloading the muscles of his hands and feet to stay afloat, sticking to the wall without falling. Adding height with full calculation so as not to misstep. Focus on getting to the top as quickly as possible, before time runs out, before the second whistle is blown by the jury.

"You can, El!" Arga's voice continued to be heard, as well as the screams of Ryan the head of the mapala, followed by several people and applause frenzied if the Eagle was able to solve the difficulty of the track.

The perpendicular climbing wall had already passed, the Eagle took a deep breath before more quickly completing the overhang (sloped trajectory). Continued with the first hooking that failed while on the roof (surpass shaped roof).

"Get! The eagle! The eagle!"

The eagle almost gave up, his hand hanging over the body was already limited in strength. Ah, Nindya must not like to see him fall after rising that high. Top point is just one step away.

"You can, El! Let's increase the power! Can El ... easy it! Hajar already!" The eagle caught the female voice among the noise of the squeals of anxiety and encouragement from the audience. Nindya shouted a sentence that made her smile.

In one quick motion, the Eagle pumps up the rest of the power and passes through the roof quickly, completing the climb and touching the top points before the time runs out. His smile spread from the top of the board before jumping and charging his entire body weight on the carmantel strap. Belayer lowered it carefully.

The eagle immediately shot towards Nindya as soon as it was finished. His hands were white because they had not been washed. His sweat was still dripping and tired on his handsome face.

"Mr Nindya came here and didn't say anything!" said the Eagle in amazement from behind Nindya.

"I'm afraid I can't watch, so I don't make promises."

"I'll stay there for a while, Mom! There's a three-puket (helper chairman) same person foundation." The eagle pointed in the other direction, where his team was.

Nindya agreed with a faint nod, "I'll just buy a drink. I'll be back later, see the winner's announcement!"

"Okay, see you babe!" whispered Eagle from next to Nindya. To not sound anything else. Eagles are not as aggressive as they are when both. The young man chose to respect Nindya who was still dressed in work with the proper attitude of ordinary students.
