"You're really crazy, El!" Nindya started nagging as soon as the car came out of the Eagle's house. "Can't you just talk first if I want to meet your parents?"
"If you say so you don't want to" replied the eagle.
Nindya turned her head, "El .. introducing women as girlfriends to parents means what? I don't want you to be reckless, I'm not your boyfriend, I want to marry someone else. You said your own affair was over. How the hell are you?"
The eagle listened carefully, raising one eyebrow unconcerned with Nindya's loud protest. "Trus?"
"I want to meet the wedding organizer tomorrow, my wedding is in plain sight, still don't understand?"
The eagle replied lightly, "Tomorrow I'll be with you, I'm sure Daniel's still busy tomorrow taking care of his beautiful assistant!"
"You are crazy!" rutuk Nindya was irritated.
"If you know why it's still being discussed? The crazy one I'm you're dizzy."
Nindya shook her head, her brain was hot thinking of how to argue and avoid the aggressive young man next to her, the young man who was in love with her. "You make people work. But El, your parents are good, are you the same as me? Your mother is also very friendly, when she just met."
"That's God's mother" said the Flat Eagle. "Not my mother!"
"God! She's your father's wife, El! How can you consider him someone else?" peekik Nindya was angry, instantly glaring with a look of disbelief.
The eagle stopped the car at the red light, returning Nindya's gaze with a complicated look. "Don't talk about it now! To me, his wife is my mother, and he is dead."
"Yes I know, but you have to learn to understand them, El! I also understand that your mother is no longer there, but that is not your attitude as a child! You don't seem to like your mom!"
"So I was wrong?" ask the grim eagle. A slow-moving car is directed to the road to Parangtritis. "She took my only remaining family in the world, Papa! It's only natural that I don't like it."
"Listen to this, El! Had my mother been willing to remarry, I would have allowed her happily, I would have often courted her to have a husband. I know how she suffered being a single parent to me. Why do I have to be like that? Because I can't give you the happiness that only a couple in a household can give you, El! I must not be selfish with the needs of love and perhaps also the biological needs of the person I care about the most. My mother was young when she was abandoned by my father, I'm sure she endured that hard-earned solitude." Nindya's voice was hoarse, carried away by the strange situation that struck her mother.
The eagle was silent in a dilemma, "What should I do? I don't like my mom's position to be occupied by someone else."
"Nobody took your mama's position, El! Your mother will never be replaced by anyone in your heart, nor in your heart. He has his own place to remember, and it is eternal. There is a sweet gift from the marriage of your parents first is a child, you are a binder that can never be broken by death though. Forever, your mother can't shift your mama from your father's past, won't be able to erase your father's sweet memories let alone get rid of you!" nindya said long, giving a little understanding that might be acceptable to Eagle.
The eagle did not argue, his feelings were mixed inexplicable. "I find it hard to accept his presence! I kept a distance so she'd be comfortable with papa."
"Nothing is hard if you want to learn! Accept your new mother as you accept God as your sister. If a younger God can accept others as papa, why can't you act like a God?" Nindya rubbed the Eagle's shoulder lovingly.
The eagle responded in silence. His interlocutor turned out to be right, mature enough to understand his problems in the family. He let his lecturer get into the complexities of his heart, digesting every sentence of Nindya which was all true.
The Eagle's breathing was heavy, his decision to return home grew stronger with Nindya's support. If yesterday was only for the health of his father, now there is another reason.
The young man had already decided to lower his ego yesterday, and was now even more helpless as Nindya lectured him. The woman was easily familiar with papa and his mother, the Eagle liked. Her feelings were alive at the sight of it, it was warm, and she was happy to see her father and mother laughing with Nindya.
"Will you meet my mom? I mean accompany me to the navel to tell a story. Not today, if you have time."
"Alright I'll accompany you tomorrow morning, I'm sure your mama agrees with my opinion!" nindya said with a calming smile.
"Do I have to go home soon? Papa asked me to stay in that house again, but I felt I wasn't fully prepared" said the honest Eagle. The input from Nindya once again required the Eagle to quash any doubt.
"If it's still heavy, you can start by staying at home two to three times a week, do it in one month until you're really comfortable. Over time it can be increased to four to five times until finally you do not need to stay in the rented again."
The eagle was dumbstruck for a moment, "Alright, thank you for the advice. Do you care like this because I'm your student?"
"Your question is too much to answer, El!" nindya said giggled amusedly. "I care because I love you."
"When do you love me?"
Nindya laughed lightly, "I'll marry Daniel."
The eagle laughed, how his lecturer still rejected him firmly. "I love you, Nindya."
"I've heard it several times, and you've always said that, aren't you bored?" Nindya mocked the Eagle who often said tired of hearing the reason Nindya who was going to marry Daniel.
"I can't be bored with you" replied the Eagle.
"You're young, El!"
"Now you doubt me because of age?"
Nindya refused to answer the Eagle's question. After all, whatever Nindya would explain would not be heard by the Eagle. The young man would not change his intentions just because the sentence contained cliche reasons and Nindya was unable to make any other excuses anymore.
"Where are we going, El? Why enter the Parangtritis area?" tanya Nindya switched the conversation. He realized that the Eagle did not drive him home because he was too serious about the personal problems of the Eagle and his family.
"I want to pay off" replied the Eagle briefly.
Nindya frowned not understanding. "meaning?"
The eagle held Nindya's hand. "We will see one of the beautiful twilight in Yogyakarta from the top of Parangndog hill."
