The Secound Choice's

The Secound Choice's
Six Eight

The atmosphere became awkward, Hafiz and Syifa were silent to each other. In the silence, Syifa picked up a light blue towel which she held near the wooden material mattress.

"It's still a little damp, Mas. It's okay yeah. Syifa used to make hair." Syifa gave the towel, Hafiz accepted it and put down his backpack.

"Mas' clothes in here?" Syifa wanted to pick up and prepare her husband's clothes

"Let us take it ourselves."

"Oh, yes" replied Syifa slowly

"Sorry, it's nothing. Later if kiya is already in your new home who prepares clothes, Mas." Hafiz was a bit embarrassed to see his wife who seemed disappointed

Syifa's phone rang paused their talk of pleasantries. Syifa looked at her phone and smiled as she read the name on it.

The girl switched the call to video call mode, then sat on the bed.

"What!!" he said as soon as the call was connected

"Sister!! You're not bunting, are you?!"

"Eh! Your mouth!!! I'm not marrying your noisy mouth. I married you said bunting! There's-there's you, yeah." Syifa looked upset but she was satisfied with the answer to her prayers with tonight's incident.

The wedding video he sent to his only brother who lately always whine to be allowed to marry first.

"Kok can that brother want the same, Brother!"

"Ah, I know you too well."

"Eh, you know. Where's brother?"

"Mandy!" Syifa circulated her gaze, Hafiz no longer exists.

"Well, take a shower! What time is it there?"

"Jam nine, Mal. Ah ... Been already. So which cake? When did you marry her? Still want your girlfriend to be your partner?"

"Still be. But he has returned to his country! It's all because of brother!!" akmal's face turned sad, however Syifa was still a sister who loved her sister

"Loh, why? Where's she from?" syifa asked, his face pias staring at his sister on the screen

"Hey, Akmal! How are you?" hafiz, who is now behind Syifa, still hangs his wife's towel on his shoulder

"Eh, Bang. And finally!! Barakallah yes, Bang. May the marriage last until heaven!" akmal said to the man who is now his brother-in-law

"Aamiin, O Allah" answered the two in unison, they looked at each other

Seeing that, Akmal wanted to end the call.

"That's it, brother!" heed

"Eh, what's up? You haven't told me your problem with brother! Don't make you sleep, Mal."

"Ck! That's your husband you want to cuekin!" akmal said somewhat whispering

"Just go on, I'm fine." replied Hafiz holding his wife's shoulder and glancing at the screen.

"Mas no problem, Mal. Now tell me everything! Hurry up!!" cecar Syifa, Akmal seemed to throw his breath rough and told all the things that happened except the profile of a female Caucasian who made him upset

Only about ten minutes they chatted, their conversation paused because Syifa heard the rhythm of regular breathing from next to her, Syifa looked at the source of the sound.

"Yes, just be patient! Where is the soul mate? But I'm curious too, Mal. What kind of a bule girl makes you upset this! Spill dong where's he bule?"

"Later you'll know!"

"Yes yes, my husband is asleep! It'll be interrupted because of your cry." Syifa stared fixedly at the face of Hafiz who was completely asleep

"Eh, you're sleep-deprived, brother!" Akmal held back his laughter

"That ball sporter huh, brother?"

"Hm! The victims will be taken to the hospital where Mas Hafiz works."

"Yes, it must be tired that time. Yes already, happy idle huh. You're jablay tonight! Haha ...."

"You are!"

Syifa slowly got out of bed, adjusted the air conditioner to make it more comfortable and put a blanket on her husband.

There was no sign of Hafiz waking up, The sound of teeth clashing together to make a 'cretek' sound made Syifa resist the pain.

"I don't have a toothache" he said himself. One new thing she found in the man who had only been her husband for a few hours.

Syifa walked out of the room, opening and closing the door as slowly as possible.

Arriving at the kitchen, Mama Juna, Jun's aunt and her two grandmothers looked at her simultaneously.

"What do you want, Fa? Want to eat again?" ask mama Juna

"No, Ma. Just help me clean up. The sisters are asleep, right?" Syifa looked around looking for the whereabouts of her two unseen cousins

"Then they go to school tomorrow. What are you doing here too? Hafiz are you staying?"

"Mas Hafiz is asleep, Ma. Cassian. Looks like Mas Hafiz kecapen."

"Yes there accompany your husband. We're going to sleep, too, Nduk. Go in there in the room? Later if Hafiz wakes up you don't have him crying." joked Cindy's mother

"Nenda could have been. Nenda, where are Grandma and mom sleeping?"

"Here, don't think of us. We must be sleeping. There, Fa! It is not good to leave a husband. It's your night!" drive nek Lia out anyway

"Yes already is. Syifa entered the room. Hm ... Nace! Can this water be taken to the room?" Syifa held the pitcher that was on the table.

"By, Brother. Just bring. For a moment, Auntie brought me the glasses and the trays." Aunt June opened the shelf to her right

"It! Good night, Auntie's son. May your marriage be happy in the afterlife." Aunt Jun who had not had time to say goodbye hugged and kissed her niece's forehead

"Aamiin, O God. Thank you, Bi." replied Syifa smiling. Then walk back to the room carrying water and a glass in a tray.

Slowly Syifa opened the door and very carefully put down the items she was carrying. Syifa also took a towel that was placed Hafiz on the chair of the dressing table in the room. Syifa picked it up and took it to the toilet.

Syifa removed her headscarf, washed her face with a facialwash and brushed her teeth. Her lips did not stop smiling looking at her face in front of the sink mirror.

Slowly but surely Syifa went up on her bed, tilting her body at the face of her husband who remained handsome even as she closed her eyes.

"Good night my husband" she said staring fixedly at the man in front of her, Syifa also hugged the bolting pillow that became their limit.

Tonight, Syifa did not want to dream well. If he could dispel his drowsiness he would have preferred to look at the handsome figure before him at this moment.

Circular blue-eyed ring in the sweet day he looked at alternately.

"The blue-eyed ring of the mother-in-law's legacy. Hm ... Like the ring that Prince William gave to princess Kate, hopefully our story is much more beautiful than their romance, Mas." he said himself.
