"The Duke was dubbed as the 'black lion' of Khan's kingdom. He loved war. You know kiki? He had just returned from the battlefield after all these years." Khan Freedly.

"What's? 'black lion' ?" Miyuki surprised. Though he was handsome, but how could he be nicknamed 'black lion' just for not returning from the war. That is his duty. Poor him. But I think it fits perfectly with his black hair and his sharp eyes like a lion.

After escorting Miyuki, Duke Frayen Vercia went straight to the palace terrace. There he meets his cousin, King Brayen Golden Layen.

"Hi brother Cousin how is the war? " The Smile of King Brayen Golden Layen.

"Duke Frayen Vercia facing His Majesty the King of the Kingdom of Layen." Duke Vercia bowed.

The origin of the Duke of this one is very often discussed in the upper class association of the Khan Kingdom.

A son of the King of the Kingdom of Layen with the Princess of the previous Duke of Vercia. As the King of the Kingdom of Layen (father of Frayen) dies, the Queen of the Kingdom of Layen aka Frayen's mother returns to the Kingdom of Khan and inherits the title of 'Duke' and becomes Duchess of Vercia.

Duchess Vercia returned to the Khan Kingdom because she did not want her Son Frayen De Layen (the former Duke Frayen's name) to follow her ruthless usurpation of the throne. The Duchess of Vercia therefore ceded all powers of the Queen and Crown Prince to her husband's younger sister (Mother King Brayen).

After the death of her Duchess Vercia, Frayen as her successor continued the title of 'duke' and changed her name to 'Frayen Vercia'.

note: The Duke is the highest male European title after the emperor, the Duchess is the title for the Duke's wife.
