“I know you didn't take this seriously before,” Uzuma said with a smile.
“No, I'm serious. Although I may not use my full strength. ”
“So so. However, you still look quite far from your limits..” Uzuma approached Rio as he spoke, swinging his spear.
“No, I'm having something quite difficult here.” Rio received a direct attack. This time, he did not lose the power struggle.
“You can say that with a relaxed face? Ha!” Uzuma pushed her spear forward wildly, but Rio moved his hand quickly to intercept every move.
Their weapons clashed several times in a row; if they used metal weapons, sparks
will fly. Their exchange of blows seemed to be a close contest, but Uzuma was slowly pushed back. While Rio did not move a single step, Uzuma had moved to attack from all angles. Eventually, Uzuma's breathing became short.
“Learnest. No matter how I attack you, it feels like I cannot land a blow at all!” Uzuma stated happily, and in a stubborn attempt to make Rio move, pushed his spear from a lower angle, putting all his strength in one push. Rio took half a step to the side and dodged it elegantly.
Then, he retorted with a swinging slash at Uzuma. His sword was directed right at his body, stopping right before making direct contact. Judging that the blow was a blow that he definitely could not dodge …
“... I admit defeat. I'm sorry – I'm getting too frenzied in the heat at the moment.” Briefly, his expression changed in frustration, but he accepted his defeat calmly and bowed politely.
“No, I'm having fun. I want to compete once again.”
“Yes, it will be fun!” Rio offered his hand, which Uzuma immediately shook.
They seem to have reached an understanding. The awkward air appearing from before the fight disappeared, leaving relaxed expressions on both of their faces. The spectators from their fierce battle watched in astonished astonishment. Meanwhile, Latifa puffed out her simple chest proudly.
“See? Arslan's? Vera's? I told you already! Onii-chan is the strongest! ”
“Y-Yes. Rio was truly outstanding,” Arslan replied to Latifa's words with a confused expression.
“S-Sara hasn't fought yet! My brother is strong!” Despite being shaken, Vera boasted for her brother's sake with all her might and looked at Sara with hopeful eyes. V-Vera, don't increase their expectations! I've never even won against Uzuma before! As she receives pure hope from her younger sister, Sara sweats excessively.

A few days after the sparring match between Rio, Uzuma, and Sara .. Early in the morning, when the others were still sleeping, Rio and Sara competed again. After feeling the defeat at Rio's hands, Sara asked Rio to train her.
“Your movement is getting blunt. Do you want to rest? ”
“A-I still ... fine …! I want to at least land a scratch! ” Unlike Rio's calm breath, Sara gasps. His tone was also slightly rougher than usual. Even then, he held onto his wooden sword and attacked Rio.
“All the village fighters have great physical abilities, but their movements are inefficient. The same goes for you, Sara. You make too many unnecessary moves.” Rio dodged Sara's attack as he gave her advice.
Perhaps it was because of their isolation deep within the forest, living peacefully among their own kind, but the fighting style of the village warriors was entirely special facing the creatures of the natural world. Since they would never fight amongst themselves, the most training they got from
fighting others like them is through training matches.
Moreover, since their individual physical abilities were extremely advanced, it did not require them to hone their fighting techniques against others. That is why when it comes to fighting others, their style is bold and rude, to make it better .. or sloppy and stupid, to be frank. Rather than luring opponents to lower their defenses, change their attack speed to shake opponents, or rely on technical moves, they prefer to fight with simple strength and speed. That preference also applies to Sara.
“A-I know it!” Sara said, lunging pierced Rio with a big swing. Rio grabbed her hand easily, dropped her off unbalancedly and threw her to the side. Sara flipped in the air and landed on the ground.
“For someone so calm, you are unexpectedly competitive,” Rio said with a small smile.
“Grrr! But ... but ... the fight is not over .. it is not over!” Sara was red extinguished from frustration and a little embarrassment. To brush it off, he attacked Rio again. Suddenly –
“Good morning, you two. Do you mind if we join you, Rio? ”
“Again!I want to do it too! ” Drowsy Alma and Latifa appear. They both want to learn
from Rio's training as well, but so is the morning person, and often comes late like this. However, it was still early morning, so they had plenty of time to practice before breakfast.
“I'll check the form I taught you yesterday, so let's slowly browse through his movements.” They all poured their sweat into the training until Orphia finished preparing breakfast and came to visit them.

After their morning practice, Rio and the others sat on the deck chair and ate the prepared sandwich
“Ugh ... I can't land a single attack on Rio again... Ah, this is delicious,” murmured Sara with her head lowered, munching on her sandwich sadly. His wolf ears drooped a little more than usual.
“Sara was defeated rather violently,” Alma pointed out, making the wolf ears of Sara wag.
“A-Alma, you're not the one who can talk! You're in the same position as me. ”
“I'm not reckless Sara.”
“Ugh ...” Sara was not in place to object, as Rio repeatedly made similar observations.
“I like the direct approach way Sara. We will try to fix his habit of being too engrossed and doing the same repetitive motions over and over again.” Rio smiled faintly from where he was sitting before Sara, offering words of encouragement. Sara blinks blankly to beat.
“Y-Ya .. Please.” He looked down, his cheeks flushed in embarrassment. Picking up the sandwich with two hands, he chewed with his small mouth.
“Sara, your face is red,” said Alma, looking at Sara's face with apathy from where she was sitting next to her. Sara's shocked.
“A-Ap – That's not true!”
“You know that's not what he meant by ‘like’!” Alma whispered in her ear, low enough that Rio would not hear her from where she was sitting across the table.
“A-Isn't that clear ?! W-What do you mean ?!” Sara's cheeks are getting red.
“Fufu, what are you talking about, Sara?” Orphia asked with an amused smile; she sat on the other side of the table beside Rio.
“O-Orphia, you elf! You can hear it clearly, can't you ?! ”
“Fufu, who knows? Right, Rio? Latifa?” Orphia said, staring at them for their response. Rio was unable to hear their conversation halfway through, so he tilted his head in confusion. But Latifa, who was sitting between Rio and Sara on the other side of the table, opened her mouth.
“You know, Sara is actually—”
“L-Latifa!” Sara stood up in panic, covering Latifa's mouth with her hands.
“Mmph!”
“A-It's nothing, Rio! It's absolutely nothing! ” Rio nodded, overwhelmed by Sara's menacing gaze.
“B-Good. But Latifa seems like she is in pain, so please let her go,” Rio said, smiling wryly. On Rio's orders, Sara hurriedly released her hand from Latifa's mouth and apologized.
“M-Sorry.”
“Yes!” Latifa puffed her cheeks in anger. Orphia and Alma giggled at the scene. Rio
also chuckled softly, and Latifa started laughing with a high-pitched laugh as well. Sara was the only one who was flushed.
“Oh that's right. Rio, do you know about the Grand Spirit Festival within two months?” Orphia
he suddenly said after laughing for a while.
“Yes, I've heard of it.”
“About it .. Recently, your cooking was praised among the members of the village council.”
“Bulkah?” Rio's eyes widened. It was the first time he had heard of this.
“Iya. I previously made lunch for the elder council with the recipe I learned from you.
It was a big hit. ”
“So so. But what does that have to do with the Grand Spirit Festival? ”
“There was a banquet held after the Grand Spirit Festival, so I was thinking of having some of your recipes on the menu. So, Rio ... I know this is a lot to ask you, but are you considering teaching them to the village women?”
“Sure, I don't mind. I will gladly help,” Rio agreed with pleasure
hearts.
“Thank you very much! Then I'll be making a cooking class in the near future. I'll tell you the details at a later date.” Orphia's expression was radiant with joy, her smile was like a blossoming flower.
