Hartono glanced at Mia who had been silent since the two returned from the Mall. It seems Mia is still upset because of the problem earlier, where she let Sharon go without apologizing first for hitting Mia.

Hartono was worried about his position, if he defended Mia too much in front of Sharon, fearing that Sharon was getting hurt. But if he did the opposite, it was Mia who would probably assume if she no longer cared about the woman.

“Why not eaten?” Hartono asked Mia who ignored the food she had bought.

“I'm not hungry.” replied Mia slowly.

The man sighed softly, he then pulled Mia's plate and scooped up her food and then offered the woman a mouthful.

“You must eat, pity our child.” he said trying to persuade Mia to open her mouth.

Instead of leaking, Mia threw a sharp glare at Hartono.

“When I fell earlier you didn't even care about it. You don't think that the incident could have hurt the baby in my womb.” said Mia with both eyes that had glazed over.

“Darling, but Sharon wasn't on purpose. And you're okay too right?” hartono's response made Mia even more upset.

“So you have to wait for something bad to happen first, then you will have a problem?” mia asked full of frustration that peaked.

Hartono tried to reach Mia, but the woman brushed him off quickly.

“Not like that I mean—” Hartono tried to explain the meaning of his words but Mia still did not want to hear.

The woman left the living room and went into her room without forgetting to lock the door.

Hartono cursed in his heart, he grabbed his man because of frustration facing Mia's attitude just now. If he does not remember that the woman is pregnant, maybe he can show his assertiveness to the woman.

He was no longer able to get angry at Mia, but that did not mean he could not be firm with the woman.

Mia woke up after sleeping for about two hours, and now it was afternoon but she had not yet unlocked the door to her room.

Stiffened with guilt from within Mia, he was too childish to shut himself up and did not let Hartono in.

“Did he go back to his office?” Mia asked slowly.

He will not get an answer if he does not find out directly. So he forced himself to get up and get out of his bed to get out of the room.

Mia unlocks the door of her room, she finds the room connecting the pantry and the living room is only illuminated by a dim light.

Though it was still afternoon, but the curtains around the room had been closed.

Mia brushed aside all her current thoughts, she should focus on her goal of ensuring Hartono's existence. The woman then resumed her journey until now she has been in the living room.

There Hartono was lying on the sofa with his eyes closed.

Mia approached the man's body, then gently frowned.

“I'm sorry.” whispered Mia felt guilty for her attitude earlier.

Unexpectedly the two eyelids of the man opened and showed two pitch-black eyeballs like the darkness of night.

Mia was fixated on staring at the two black obsidians belonging to Hartono, when she looked at him like it was pounding her heart back into a craze.

It reminded Mia of their first meeting which brought her falling into the arms of a married man.

“Why are your eyes so alluring?” mia asked with a faint smile.

Hartono chuckled softly, apparently Mia was no longer upset with him. Therefore Hartono ventured to get up and pulled Mia to want to sit on his lap.

“That only happens when I stare at you.” reply Hartono.

Mia commented on her sweet smile, she looked up as the man began to fondly fondly fondle her neck.

“Why?” mia asked without changing her direction.

Hartono halted his pleasure upon hearing the question, “Because I always looked at you lovingly.”

“Means both my eyes look alluring in your sight.”

Mahendra felt himself starting to go crazy because he could not get rid of the beautiful face full of assertiveness belonging to Sharon from his mind. How did the woman look at him sharply or when the woman spoke in a firm tone, all swirling around inside her head.

Though Sharon was eight years older than him, but Mahendra felt that he began to be enamored with the charm of the woman.

The 40-year-old man then entered a medium-sized building which was a flower shop. He is someone who likes the beauty of flowers, he came here to buy sunflower seeds.

“Welcome—! Can I help you?”

“Lho?! Laura?”

“Pak Doctor?!”

Mahendra was really surprised when he met Laura at the florist she was visiting at the moment.

“You work here?” mahendra asked a little in disbelief.

Laura is a wife of a potential heir, so it doesn't make sense that she's an employee at a florist that's this small.

Laura chuckled at Mahendra's question, then Laura shook her head slowly.

“This is my friend's flower shop. Sometimes I come to help her.” Laura replied which Mahendra immediately understood.

“Oh— so..”

“Pak Doctor is looking for what flowers?” laura asked to help.

Mahendra smiled and answered Laura's question and said that she was looking for sunflower seeds. Laura then went to the back of the store to get what Mahendra wanted.

While waiting for Laura to return, Mahendra looked around at the flowers in the room. Until his ears heard the sound of bells coming from the entrance, making his focus diverted.

It turned out that the one who had just entered the flower shop was Sharon with a man unknown to Mahendra.

Sharon is shocked to see Mahendra at Laura's friend's flower shop. What is the need for this guy here?

“I've arrived, you can leave here.” Sharon said to Hartono who had just given her a ride because her car tires were leaking on the way.

“Alright, I'm going, until later.” Hartono left Sharon at the woman's order.

After the departure of Hartono, Sharon focused her vision on Mahendra who had been watching himself with Hartono.

Mahendra smiled faintly, “Bu Sharon wants to meet Laura?” ask the man kindly.

“Ya, where is she?” sharon asked her whereabouts of her daughter-in-law.

“Dia,.”.

“Sorry to make Pak doctor wait a long time.”

Laura reappeared with the flower seeds that Mahendra wanted. And the woman was surprised to see her mother-in-law there too.

“When Mom to?” ask Laura.

She has an appointment to go with her mother-in-law, but Laura does not expect Sharon to arrive early.

“Barusan.” Sharon replied briefly.

Hearing that Laura then told her mother to sit waiting in Luna's study, and Sharon said. Until now Laura can focus entirely on her customers who are none other than Mahendra.

“Pak Doctor just bought this right?” ask Laura while packing flower seeds before handing them to customers.

“Ya, that's it.” replied the man.

“By the way, who was the man who drove Ms Sharon?” Mahendra couldn't bear to ask about the man earlier.

“Surely my mother was in between by someone?” laura asked confused and Mahendra nodded in agreement.

“Maybe it was Mom's driver,” Laura was just guessing, because she obviously didn't see who was dropping off her mother-in-law.

“But the clothes are too neat if only as a driver.” said Mahendra felt Laura's guess was not right.

Hearing that Laura became curious, who was the one who drove her mother? It can't be Fabian? If the one who drove him was Fabian, Mahendra obviously already knew him.

Seeing Laura who seemed to be thinking hard, Mahendra then smiled thinly.

“Not to think about. I was just curious.” said Mahendra felt bad for Laura.

He'll find out for himself who that guy was. Because he had to really make sure anyone he could call a rival to get close to Sharon.
