Blood flowed out of the gap due to the deep incision, then down wet the skin of the face before finally dripping down, forming a trail like splashes of liquid objects on the surface of the ground. With a staggering step Luna passed one tree to another. His chest rose and fell rapidly, while his hand moved firmly gripping the tree trunk, trying to support himself who was starting to run out of breath. He coughed a few times while leaning against the tree trunk. Tired and hungry too.
Cold steam billowed out from the gap between his lips as he tried to re-regulate his breathing. The freezing wind from earlier blew piercingly into his bone marrow, cold as ice.
Luna turned her attention around, there was no one. The silence of this forest really makes it dissolve in solitude. There was only himself and the tree that was of whatever type. Luna had no idea how far she had traveled since escaping from the old, old European-style mansion behind this forest. To be sure he had just passed through all this cold and gripping night by continuing to run. Lucky dawn soon arrived, at least he no longer need to run while groping one tree to another tree that seemed to blend with the dark shade of the forest.
The sound of friction from the direction of the bushes broke the silence in that place. Still with a leaning position, Luna tried to straighten her body. The panic was clearly reflected on his dirty face full of blood. If what appears is the Wild People, he is not too afraid, he is not afraid if he has to face the wild creatures that inhabit nature behind the shadow of humans.
A scraping sound came back and along with it, a black shadow lightning seemed to jump out, blocking the road in front of Luna. The appearance of a black figure like the shadow of a four-legged creature suddenly froze all of Luna's muscles and joints. The girl was glued—mematung, while her violet iris was fixed on a figure called the Wild. The creature hissed, trying to scare him, but on the other hand did not dare to approach.
The sound of another step was heard approaching from behind, making Luna even more panicked. With a little effort he swung his right hand, slowly but steadily. A wisp of green sparks a meter high blazed between him and the Wild. The shadow-like creature leapt back to avoid the fire, and without wasting any time, Luna forced her legs to run back, as fast as she could, as far as her legs could, or disappeared if she had that choice.
A pale-white-faced young man with tapered cheeks and a straight jaw arrived shortly afterwards. He stared intently at the green flames that were still burning. Anger emanated clearly through his pair of eyes, his hands clenched tightly while his jaws began to crackle as a result of restraining the overwhelming outpouring of emotions.
“Where else are you going to run, Luna? With that wound, you should have kept quiet just according to my wishes,” umpatnya while glancing wrath at the Wild People in front of him.
The creature that borrowed a human shadow-like form understood the meaning of its master. As quickly as possible he darted running with both his hands and feet, carrying the road. Luna's scent of human blood was so thick, it made her able to chase after the girl in a matter of minutes. The Wild people immediately jumped high on Luna's back. The human girl lost her balance and ended up falling. The green fire was again lit and burned down the Wild before the creature stuck a row of sharp teeth on Luna's shoulders.
At the same time, the pale white-faced young man arrived. The corner of her lips slightly raised, forming a sardonic smile as she looked at Luna's struggle. He was happy to see the girl starting to feel helpless.
“You really don't know whose name is surrender, Luna,” said from a distance of about five meters from Luna.
Slowly Luna stood up. Her cherry-brown hair with a length reaching the waist looked frown-out unkempt. Blood poured out from several cuts on the skin of his arms, stomach and neck, as well as changing the color of his clothes to dark red. But the injuries were nothing compared to the long and deep vertical incision line that managed to split Luna's left eye, making her have to lose half her vision.
A mocking smile fell on Luna's face, while she stared fiercely at the young man. “You know I'm a very stubborn man, Ferenc,” his hisses are full of hatred. He hated the young man in front of him. He hated how the young man had suddenly appeared and kidnapped him into the old European-style mansion, confining him there as if he were just a little bird.
The figure named Ferenc took a step forward. Not satisfied with just a step, he went back one more step. “That's why I like you.” There was a subtle tone that seemed forced behind his words.
“You should be grateful, Luna. Not many humans are brought alive to this realm, and this nature does not just accept humans. You know what that means?”
Ferenc was silent for a moment, giving a short pause before returning to say “You are special, Luna, evident from the power of your green fire.” Ferenc's tone softened even more. While the distance with Luna suddenly shrank until only a few hands left.
Luna was still staring at Ferenc with a discordant look. While his legs reflexes took a step back. His mind knew exactly what nature Ferenc had meant just now. The fact that he was in an alien realm called the shadow realm is undeniable, as if he was kidnapped by aliens and taken away to another planet.
“You only want my power, Ferenc. But baby, you might not get it.” Luna replied sarcastically, and to be honest, she herself was actually not sure of the word that had just come out of her mouth. But on the other hand, there was a kind of strong urge to say that, and Luna couldn't help herself. Well, maybe he just wants to heat up the youth and the results are very satisfied.
“Out there is much more dangerous, Luna. Many are after you. Come on, come back to my side.” Ferenc softened, trying to persuade Luna.
But it seemed that the human girl was much more stubborn, as the next second the green flames flared up again, creating a dividing wall that separated her from the pale-white-faced young man. Ferenc retreated two steps, his big-footed smile waning, while his eyelids widened, surprised by the appearance of the green flames.
On the other hand, the tension of Luna's facial muscles slightly began to loosen in relief. All the Wilds were afraid of the fire, and the same might be true of Ferenc. Maybe. I don't know, Luna has never really attacked that young man with her green fire. While in the old mansion, he fought only with his guards who were the Wild People, and from there he got all these wounds.
Sunlight began to crack between the gaps of the leaves of the trees, illuminating little by little the forest that was originally dominated by darkness. Ferenc stepped through just like that the wall of green flames in front of him. While a smile re-expanded on his face— more like a grin a boy who finally managed to get a candy.
Luna flabbergasted. His facial expression showed disbelief when he saw the green flames that did not even hurt Ferenc in the slightest, sticking to his clothes as well as not! But as he flinched to his senses, Ferenc had been standing right before him. Nimbly the young man caught Luna's wrist, preventing the girl from running away or just backing away to keep her distance.
“There's no point fighting back, Luna. This fire is not strong enough to hurt me,” his hiss is accompanied by a strong breath just in front of Luna's face. Smooth yet full of threats.
Luna looked at Ferenc sharply, as if she wanted to devour him alive immediately. He rebelled, trying to let go of Ferenc's grip, not wanting to be this close for a second.
The green flames flared again, this time burning at Ferenc's grasp. Luna still continued to thrash while her mind hoped that the young man would be shocked and reflexively let go of her hand. It is unfortunate, because what Ferenc did was the opposite, he even pulled the hand rough Luna, so inevitably the girl was interested in going forward to hit his chest.
Luna jumped in shock, the green flames extinguished instantly. At the same time, something felt moving around his waist from behind, feeling amused and unpleasant. Luna pushed Ferenc's shoulder strongly, trying to keep the figure away. But something seemed to hold him or Ferenc apart. You idiot! One swearing suddenly shot out of Luna's mind when she realized that it was Ferenc's hand that had infiltrated her waist!
Luna looked up angrily, the frown on her forehead deepening while the full highlight of her warning-to-immediately-releasing-her waist was emanated clearly behind her right-hand iris violet.
In response to Luna's fierce gaze, Ferenc instead strengthened his embrace while smiling with satisfaction. Then put his face close to the human girl until the distance between them is only a matter of milli.
“Well, now let's go home, dear Luna,” the whisper slowly followed by a gentle kiss on Luna's right cheek.
Again, Luna immediately thrashed fed up. With one hand still free to move, the young man's body was pushed away immediately. Unfortunately, Ferenc clenched himself tighter while the young man's face had turned to Luna's right ear and descended through the curve on the girl's neck. His breath felt hunting, tickling, at once disgusting!
Luna hates being treated like this!
Ferenc lifted his head, removing his face from the skin of Luna's neck, while his eyes turned on Luna's violet iris. He smiled happily when he saw the look of hatred emanated by the human girl, but on the one hand also looked very desperate and helpless.
“You are mine, Luna..” tidied Ferenc slowly, then landed his lips on Luna's lips. Perfect already.
