The Shadow Awakens
Chapters 10

The atmosphere here, on the fifth floor of this hundred and three-eight floor, as well as Luna who was sitting quietly with Rei who was suddenly silent, all of them suddenly felt completely wrong. Even the wind felt so wrong.

Hurriedly Luna stood up, wanting it to feel like she would immediately disappear from this place alone if she could. But everything ‘tak means’ this has happened and Luna can only sigh long as she leaves leaving Rei who is still sitting there. Luna really doesn't care anymore.

Just as he turned around, something felt as if it had shot across his back at high speed and landed perfectly right between them with the elevator door. Short vibrations are felt on the glass surface. The figure of a foreign woman seemed to be crouching not far in front of Luna. Her golden blonde hair was left dangling dangling touching the black glass while a pair of white bat wing bones without membranes were seen flapping behind her back.

The woman stood up slowly while showing a face full of abominations. Red lipstick was seen adorning her lips and contrasted with her pale face. With a graceful movement, the long skinny fingers of the woman wagged her own hair back. Eyes with large black pupils widened to cover the entire white part of his eyes moved to look at Luna. A fleeting feeling of goosebumps rose tickling the nape of Luna as their eyes met.

“Looks like I don't have to bother looking for the human owner of the fire of death.” The woman smiled at Luna with contrived hospitality. He approached the human girl. The sound of clasping was heard from the end of his heels every time he stepped.

“You are very similar to him, little girl. Violet color in your eyes and cherry brown hair is very similar to Karen,” hiss like a snake.

Her hands were raised, showing off the long nails in each of her fingers, and without Luna noticing it had moved almost touching her own face. But suddenly the movement of the nails of the woman stopped exactly a few milliseconds from the thin line under the left eye Luna.

“Do not think to poison him, caterpillar.” Rei's voice seemed to tickle the tip of Luna's left earlobe. “Stop calling me caterpillar, Nathanael. I am a snake, very inappropriate compared to the weak little creature that can only eat those leaves.” The woman protested, but still maintained her friendly intonation.

“Snakes don't have wings, Sabrina. They also do not fly. I think you're more suited like a caterpillar that in the final metamorphosis will turn into a butterfly, and the creature is winged and flying anyway.” Rei replied sarcastically.

Sabrina glared in wrath. He pulled his hand back until it slipped from Rei's grip. “Quite, Nathanael! Not because you are as strong as Master, you can insult me at will!” his hiss was angry while jumping high.

The wind from the flapping of its wings created a dark purple poisonous gas. A pair of wings in the form of bat wing bones appear to flap occasionally while maintaining their flying height. Sabrina smirked cynically, while her pair of eyes had been staring at Rei full of hatred. He was eager to rule the young man completely, making him part of his collection.

Sabrina raised her hand high and suddenly the black glass floor on the hundred and third floor eight was smashed into pieces and made Rei as well Luna lose her footing and fall just like that.

The air felt a strong rub against Luna's back, while Sabrina's figure looked increasingly smaller away from her gaze. Before long something quite terrifying shot past Luna's sight. This kind of picture he never imagined would happen. A large chunk of rock covered in red embers seemed to rush past him and smashed smoothly against the black glass wall of the Center.

Glass flakes fell after Luna. While other chunks of stone fireballs began to follow like a meteor shower and hit the Center without mercy. Luna did not want to see more. He chose to twist his body and this time he was forced to face another fact. The fact that he will soon hit the ground surface. Can't imagine how sad it would be if these bones had to clash at the rigors of the parking lot below. Well, whatever it was, all Luna expected was one instant death.

Something felt around Luna's waist along with the rough pressure on her stomach. Luna suddenly fell down and miraculously moved horizontally away from the center. Luna turned around and found a creature that could be said to have just saved her life from death, as well as facing her to another death.

Thin, bone-like creatures in a layer of skin that has a cruel appearance and full of abominations typical of residents of the Ifrit Realm. A horn of color with the brown skin of the tread grew in the middle of his forehead while his thin fingers coiled tightly around Luna's waist from the back. His thumb seemed to stick to the girl's stomach, keeping the human girl from falling over.

As they got further away from the Center, something heavy enough suddenly landed on the backs of the Ifrits, jerking for a moment its balance. His wings suddenly flapped stronger, trying to withstand the additional weight on his back. A horrifying hoarse howl spontaneously came out from his mouth along with an angry glint behind his back.

“Kaum Ifrit already has a lot of food in nature, right? No more kidnapping from here.” Rei said from behind the back of the Ifrit as he plunged deeply into his jet black sword behind the head of the Ifrits.

Meanwhile, from behind the clothespin of the ugly creature, Luna saw clearly the tip of Rei's sword eye that penetrated to the chin of the Ifrit. Black blood drops fell like a leaking water pipe. The Ifrits roared in pain. The wings suddenly flapped irregularly, while the grip on Luna's body was released.

Without a second thought Rei immediately jumped to save Luna but that second also the figure of the other Ifrits hit himself away from Luna. Both Rei and the Ifrits lost control and both fell into the forest below.

“Rei!” luna shouted hysterically as she extended her hand. But three strong twists from his shoulders to his thighs suddenly rushed him to reach the young man who fell further and further down. The body of Sabrina's snake, or exactly half down her body that had turned into a snake was catching Luna.

Sabrina grinned back at Luna's unfriendly look. “Just fight back,” said along with an unexpected sting on Luna's neck and managed to put her to sleep for a moment.

The peace of the atmosphere in the middle of the widest forest in the Shadow Realm seemed to be willing to be disturbed by the existence of Rei Nathanael. With a flat look Rei drew his coarse jet-black sword from the chest cavity of the lifeless Ifrites under his feet. The outpouring of anger emanated clearly behind Rei's highlight. His hand clenched its grip on his sword, while his blood had swirled wildly upon seeing the flaps of the wings of the Ifrits in the sky above him.

Rei plunged his sword back into the corpse of the poor Ifrits. He groaned in frustration, disgust and felt himself deeply ashamed. The shadow of Luna being carried away right in front of her eyes made her annoyance even more so. He hated himself at that time. Hating this weak and helpless self.

A faint spark of electricity seemed to flow along the jet-black sword eyes. Rei's grip on the handle of his sword loosened while the electrical voltage instead increased drastically, continuing and continuing to cause a wild, ferocious and uncontrollable strike.

The wind blew unfriendly when Zeriel arrived at that place.The dark atmosphere that was very terrible felt from the direction of Rei. The young man pressed his sword deeper and that was when the blackish-red electric sparks instantly blew up the body of the Ifrits, like a balloon breaking.
