Center is the name of the city for residents of the Shadow Realm. From the outside this skyscraper looks like an office but in fact this building also doubles as a place to live, hospital, and all the facilities needed by the Shadow People; the name for the inhabitants of the Shadow Realm. The center is divided into five levels, each level has a different number of floors, can increase or decrease depending on needs, and because of this the Center itself has a number of floors that are not fixed.
To level one is a place to take care of all kinds of administration, letters, requests and so on. Levels two and three are residences, recreation, libraries and all urban scenes in general. Level four is a hospital, laboratory and training ground. Finally, level five, is an office that takes care of all kinds of activities Center, this level is the most calm but also gives a lot of work pressure. The Central higher-ups are usually at this fifth level.
Each level has a minimum of five lifts, of which two are connecting elevators between levels, while the remaining three are inter-floor elevators. These lifts are driven by Energy Stones embedded deep below the Center. The energy of this stone never runs out even though thousands of centuries have passed. It is said that there is one other Energy Stone located at the top of the Center, but no one can be sure of its existence because after the fifth level, there is no, there is still one more level above it and only a handful of Shadow People have permission to access that level. The elevator itself also does not provide access to the mysterious floor.
Well, to be honest, it's not easy when it comes to jostling among the throngs of people on this first floor. Despite knowing the ferocious currents of the sea pressure of these people, Luna still had to try her hardest to continue to survive in her path. Meanwhile, his violet iris seemed to move violently looking for Rei's figure. Ughhhh! It's hard to find one person in the crowd who somehow got more of this. Fortunately, the lightning reflected from Rei's jet-black sword seemed to sink between people's heads and meant that Rei was not far in front of Luna. Good, he has not lost that young man.
The crowd feels more dense. The pressure of mixed crush is getting worse. Luna clearly had trouble breaking through and as she managed to pass by, the light reflection from Rei's sword was already invisible. Luna lost track of Rei.
Luna's feet continued to step through the crowd, while her eyes still moved furiously to left-right, looking around for Rei's figure. It was unimaginable that he had to be stranded in this place, in this crowd and all alone! Feelings of fear and anxiety slowly seethed blinding Luna towards the surroundings. At that very moment a rough thrust suddenly received it from the right. Luna was dragged back diagonally and unfortunately she lost her balance. Amidst this panic, Luna felt her back hit someone just before a hand held her shoulder steady from behind.
“Cautious.” Rei's voice rang out from behind Luna's back and clearly shocked the human girl. The young man looked calm as if he did not realize that Luna was so frustrated looking for him. Rei's left hand grip on Luna's shoulder was instantly removed when convinced the girl had regained her balance.
“Come,” take it short while walking through Luna.
But just two steps Rei walked, he felt a strong enough pull on his maroon jacket tied around his waist. Rei turned half of his body while staring in wonder towards the back. His brown iris was immediately fixed on Luna's hand that had firmly grasped the tip of her jacket. His hands seemed a little trembling.
Rei stared at the end of his jacket for quite a while before deciding to grab Luna's hand. Beyond a doubt, Luna even gasped in shock. He reflexively pulled a little bit of his hand. Traumatized because Ferenc often grabbed his hand like this and dragged himself.
Luckily, Rei's hand grip did not come off. Luna did not know what to say if until the young man's grip was released because of the spontaneous reaction earlier. Indifferently Rei resumed his steps while Luna simply followed in silence. Rei's grip felt very soft as if he was holding something fragile in his hand. Very different from the Ferenc handle which is more like gripping.
Rei's footsteps also seemed much slower. It seemed like he was trying to keep pace with Luna's tempo so that the girl wouldn't have to walk too fast to chase after him. Maybe that's what he should have done from the beginning. Not going too fast!
As they waited for the elevator to come down, Rei finally opened the conversation. “Above people not so much. You don't have to be afraid of getting lost like that.” He also released his handrails and Luna herself could only give one soft nod. Well, it turns out that Rei knew that Luna was separated from him.
“And your hands sweat a lot. Is it a form of fear? A kind of trauma?” rei asked as he looked at the girl beside him with an observing look. Luna did not return Rei's gaze. Her violet iris was precisely fixed on the white granite floor under her feet as if the floor was much more attractive than the figure next to her.
The twang of the elevator saved Luna from this awkward atmosphere. Two-sided metal doors open simultaneously to the left and right. From the inside, only one person came out. Rei got into the elevator first and followed Luna. “We go to the hospital first. Your wounds need to be treated, especially on your face,” said Rei while pressing the elevator button.
The semicircular tube-shaped thing started to move up. Take them to level four. Just as they were about to reach level four, suddenly a powerful shock was felt within the elevator, briefly stirring up the contents inside. Spontaneous Luna firmly grasps a waist-high iron handle attached to the glass wall of the elevator.
The elevator clinks once more and the door opens again. A small panic was clearly reflected on the faces of the Shadow On this fourth floor. Apparently the shock was not in the elevator, but throughout the Center and still continues.
Rei immediately darted out of the elevator and approached the window on his right side. Her brown iris watched the scene outside with a sharp highlight. His facial muscles stiffened instantly, displaying a stiff, flat expression. A few seconds later, Luna caught up with Rei. His eyes suddenly widened, flabbergasted as he watched three sharp claws scavenge long on the surface of the window glass in front of him. A large eyeball and a red smoldering color like magma seemed to graze on the gap between the claws. Those eyes took turns staring at Rei and also Luna.
A minute later, the claw pushed against the black glass, pushing away from the Central building and leaving the last, most powerful shock. A pair of large wings immediately spread out wide, revealing a thin membrane between the gaps in the four branches of the wing bones that stretched open.
The strong and flexible wing muscles flapping strongly several times raised the body of the red-brick scaly giant very easily. A long tail followed behind, bouncy to the left and right balancing the direction of the giant's body. The creature roared before finally flying away.
Looking at the giant creature that lived in a line of black shadows, Luna finally realized from her admiration. He had seen the creature in fantasy books or books smelling like myth. A giant-sized creature that became a symbol of power as well as power. Luna's entire life had never imagined such a fantasy creature appearing right before her eyes. Luna still could not believe that what she had just seen was a dragon.
The dragon appears to have landed on the highest ruins outside the Center. His flapping wings swallowed a few times before finally folding neatly. The creature just sat quietly in its place. However, his presence seemed to carry a message that only some Shadow People understood.
“For a while the dragon will do nothing. Your wounds are more important.” Rei then moved away with a stiff and flat expression.
