The dragon spread its wings wide. He rose to his feet with four legs while showing off four long sharp claws on each leg. The giant creature's neck was lowered, while its pair of greedy red eyes squinted until it left only a slight gap between its eyelids. The dragon stared at the two figures he knew walking closer to these ruins. Eagerly he lowered his back legs a little and with one slow push he jumped down. The ground trembled slightly as its four giant feet rested on the ground and caused some pebbles to roll down from the surrounding debris.
“I don't think you're gonna bring him here,” said the dragon as he slowly walked over to Rei and Luna. Red iris magma can not be separated from the two dwarf figures in front of him. His breath felt like a breeze even though they were at a distance far away and this made Luna's mind start to tremble.
“I've brought him here. Now it's up to you to do what.” Luna turned to look in disbelief at Rei. Without any explanation the young man immediately walked away from him and the dragon. What does it mean to fight this giant creature? Just be right!
Luna held her breath as she returned the dragon's gaze through her violet iris. His posture was made as relaxed as possible even though his mind was still cursing, cursing Rei. His mind grew even more annoyed when he saw the young man instead sitting quietly on the slightly higher rubble. He does not seem to want to interfere and means that Luna can only submit to the test given by the dragon.
The atmosphere and atmosphere in the ruins of this city changed rapidly. An intimidating aura emanated behind the dragon's magma-red iris and clearly managed to shrink Luna's guts in a second.
“Alright, human girl, we leave aside introductions and other pleasantries. We can do it after all this is done,” said the dragon then exhaled a bluish-white vapor from his mouth and created a figure the size of an adult human.
The air slowly turned cool along with the steam plume that increasingly shrouded the artificial figure. The ice crystal solids seemed to sparkle all over the body of the figure, making it seem like a sculpture of ice.
“This form is ice. Your fire is clearly superior to this ice. But don't take it for granted because he's not just ice. Your only goal is to defeat him. Whether it's crushed, melted or whatever, it's up to you to use what.” The dragon explained.
“Then the deadline is my patience limit. But take it easy, dragons are very patient creatures and are very easily attracted to everything. Show me a tense fight, human girl,”.
Finished saying, the ice figure suddenly shot nimbly towards Luna. One punch that was fast enough to be thrown into Luna's stomach and successfully repelled by Luna's palm. It seemed that the human girl could read the movements of her opponent. Then Luna's fingers locked the fist of the ice figure by gripping it firmly. Luna would not waste this opportunity to strike back and the next second her green-colored flame flared in her hand and instantly burned the ice figure's fist.
The figure's fist melted like an ice melt. But the ice figure doesn't care. He sneaks skillfully behind Luna. Simultaneously, one of his hands had been looped around the girl's neck. But just a second before he managed to lock Luna's neck, the human girl had lowered her standing position. His right leg was moved a step further and his body twisted out distancing his back from the ice figure.
Utilizing this gap, Luna directly stuck her five fingers into her opponent's chest from the bottom. The green flames blazed fiercely from his hands and spread rapidly throughout his opponent's body. Thinking that the fire had burned her opponent, Luna pulled out her hand, and suddenly a thick white gas burst out behind Luna's finger.
Luna took a few steps back with a surprised look. His violet iris seemed to move sweeping around him which had been covered by the mysterious gas. The air freeze felt instantaneous and this was bad. However, Luna looked calm, much calmer than the expectations of the dragon and Rei.
The giant, red-brick scaly creature began to smile showing an interest in the human girl. Well, he really did not expect the girl he thought was weak and would tremble fear that could last so far. Plus the fighting technique is good.
A glimmer of green light was seen behind the white gas puff. Before long the green light seemed to be moving around increasingly bigger, widening and finally removing the entire gas. But the strange sight was seen behind it. Fresh red blood seemed to flow down from Luna's left arm and drip one after another onto the ground. Seeing that, the dragon's smile grew even wider satisfied.
The ice figure raised his hand, pointing his palm exactly towards Luna. The next thing that happened was a burst of bluish-white frozen fire coming out from his palm and this attack suddenly made Luna jump in shock. He did not expect his opponent to have the same kind of strength as him. The power of fire.
Luna found the dragon smiling full of entertainment. “Basic of unlucky dragons, he deliberately did not tell this one point,” umpat Luna in heart.
Luna suddenly fended off the frozen fire with her green fire. The two flames clashed against each other, rubbing against each other for a moment before the frozen flames devoured the green flames. Realizing that the fire was being eaten, Luna immediately stopped her fire attack, but somehow the green fire did not disappear and instead blazed uncontrollably. Luna tried once again but still could not. The fire won't go out!
What the hell's going on? Luna wondered confusedly. Losing focus on her surroundings, Luna was unaware of the attack that had been aimed at her. The bluish-white flame of the ice figure managed to envelop him. Freezing felt all over Luna's skin to penetrate the bone marrow.
Luna suddenly shot out of the frozen fire. In one quick move he lunged towards his opponent. The frozen flames seemed to be chasing after him from behind but Luna did not care. He simply defeated his opponent and the fire itself would stop chasing.
The green flames were burning again from Luna's fist. He lays his punch on his opponent's stomach. His punch penetrated into the stomach of the ice figure with ease. Feels awkward and weird. It shouldn't be this surfing attack, inner Luna.
The shock grew when Luna's fire did not spread or burn her opponent as before. Instead, the ice figure's stomach seemed to suck the entire power of Luna's fire on a large scale. Realizing that, Luna was about to pull out her hand. But his opponent caught his wrist straight away, holding him back from coming out. Then the ice figure's other hand immediately landed a consecutive punch on Luna before finally kicking away the girl.
Luna's back hit the strong shards of the building walls far behind her and then fell plummeting down smelling the ground. The pain increases to many folds, especially in the abdomen and back. A warm liquid felt crawled up to his throat and was seen flowing out of his mouth.
Luna's right hand stretched upward fumbling trying to find a grip. Soon his fingers managed to reach the edge of the broken wall as high as less than half a meter. His arms trembled as he painstakingly got up on his feet resting on the broken wall. The green flames seemed to be burning weakly at the end of his fingers and the next second the fire was extinguished. The power of Luna's fire had reached the threshold.
The dragon raised its head when it saw that the human girl no longer had the strength to resist. He glanced at Rei. The young man was seen upholding the sitting position. The wrinkles on his forehead were faint, while his brown irises could not be seen looking at Luna. Although there was no emotion on Rei's flat face, but deep down he began to worry about this fight. There was a strange impulse inside him. A push he had never felt before. The urge to help the human girl.
“Can't bear to help him immediately, Nathanael?” lure the dragon. He knew Rei himself was actually starting to get restless.
To him, Rei was only stalling for time, and the longer he stalled for time, the more tormented the human girl would be. The dragon would not stop until Rei interfered in this fight, and that was what he wanted from the beginning, even since the fight had not started.
“Do it, Nathanael,” the dragon's fishing line when you see Rei still silently pecking on the spot.
Luna who finally managed to stand with both her legs muttered softly and stammered. “Na..tha...nael.
