Chapters 19. Capturing The Kidnapper

In the evening, Rendy was busy photographing a sprinkling of flickering stars in the sky. He continued to photograph until he was unaware that Kanaya was already standing nearby holding two cups.

"Rendy, how long you've been done. You've been shooting for almost two hours, not bored?" asked Kanaya who was sitting watching Rendy at the door.

"Ma, Rendy wants to talk about something important" said Rendy who stopped taking pictures. She turned to face Kanaya and looked at her mother.

"Speaking what's important? Don't tell me you want to buy another laptop" Kanaya said.

"No, Rendy got a job" said Rendy, which surprised Kanaya. Both of Kanaya's eyebrows were pinched.

"What job? Not like yesterday, right? You can go to jail, I'll report to the police myself." Kanaya threatened with a red face.

"No, Ma. This job is safe." replied Rendy casually while smiling at Kanaya's expression.

"What job is that?"

"I signed up as an IT technician. Later, I got money from it. This is not criminal, Ma. Rendy guarantees it's safe." explained Rendy as she filed her thumb.

"really?"

"Yep, most importantly Rendy can still get money for mama" said Rendy as she blinked one of her eyes. Kanaya was so excited to see her son's behavior.

"Then I think we should celebrate. Rendy, accompany me to buy groceries. We'll make your favorite chicken soup!" kanaya shouted excitedly. He was so happy, his son's age was still relatively small but had helped him earn money. Kanaya is really lucky.

"Yuk, we buy a lot of chicken so that the more stable the taste." reply Rendy who shouted in excitement. The mother and son rushed to the shopping center to buy the materials they wanted.

When he arrived, Kanaya was busy picking carrots and potatoes. Rendy sat watching, suddenly a familiar voice made Rendy surprised.

"Are you sure that kid's around here?" ask Si kalem.

"I'm sure, it was like I saw it." replied the stoutly rolled his eyeballs.

"Anyways, tonight we have to catch him. Otherwise, the boss can be angry" said the Kalem reminded.

"Yes I know. But I'm not wrong to see. Why would a child go to this vegetable store? Usually, he's in a laptop shop, not here" said the strong hesitant.

"Oh, you always make trouble. We should have been waiting for him at the laptop store, the boy must have come there" said the calm while hitting his friend.

Rendy tried to hide behind the shelves, he knew himself in the car of two Dirgantara men.

"If this continues, my life cannot be at peace. I have to teach Aerospace lessons so as not to disturb my life again." said Rendy angrily.

Rendy leaves Kanaya secretly and heads to the laptop shop to find her enemies. Four Dirgantara men were on guard outside the shop while checking everyone who entered. Rendy then took her watch, preparing to record the action.

"Let's play, it's been a long time since I've been invited to play" said Rendy smiling cheerfully. Rendy then walked up to four Dirgantara men and patted the feet of one of the men, then ran quickly.

"That kid.. He's right there!" the driver who saw Rendy had run away.

"Where-where?" ask the calm and the strapping one who is looking for Rendy's whereabouts.

"He's headed for the toilet" shouted the driver who ran first after Rendy. Three friends ran after him.

They all went inside the toilet until they forgot to read the announcement sign outside the door if the toilet was female.

"Aahhh.." All the women who just came out of the restroom shouted to see four men enter the women's toilet.

"Let's beat them up, dare to pervert in this place" said some women who approached four Dirgantara men.

"I'm sorry, I got the wrong address" said Si kalem begging for mercy.

"What's wrong address? Obviously you guys did enter on purpose." cried mommy unwilling to tolerate.

"At the door is marked, when you have the wrong address?" ask some people who are swarming them.

Rendy slipped in between the crowd and came out safely. He went back to the laptop store and asked the manager for help there. "Excuse me beautiful sister, can I see the cctv?" asked Rendy who was putting her foot in to be seen.

"For what, Deck?"

"I want to check on the man who kidnapped me a few days ago. Can I see?"

"Sorry, Deck. Cctv is not for small children's toys. Better, let's just go." reject the casier who saw Rendy was just a child. He thinks Rendy is lying and wants to make trouble with the manager's job.

'There was no choice, I had to find another way.' Rendy mutter who walked over to hide behind the door, then took out her little watch. Rendy pressed the button and moments later the phone near the casier rang.

"Yes, hello. This is with us, XXX laptop store?"

"We're from the police."

"Oh, police?" the casier looked surprised to hear the voice of the police from behind his phone.

"Yes. I told a little boy named Rendy to come take the cctv footage. Please provide the footage so that our investigation process runs smoothly" Rendy said.

"But, sir.."

"Are you refusing? It is the same as covering up the crime of the perpetrator and you will be threatened with imprisonment. Just do it and don't make yourself up to dealing with the police."

"Good, sir. I will." said the casier in a firm voice. Rendy then turns off her call and goes back to meet the casier.

"This guy's called Rendy, right?" show the casier.

"Yes, Brother. Please help."

"Well, let's go in here let me show you the cctv footage a few days ago" said the casier with a big smile.

After Rendy's business was finished in the laptop store, he then met four Dirgantara men. Seen the calm who was lying on the front floor of the toilet with a battered face. Added by the strapping with clothes.

"Geri is also a mother-of-mom if you are angry" said Rendy who shook to see him.

"Hey.. i. tu.. an..ak yes.ng ki..ta ca.ri." point out the stark one with a stammering voice.

"How are you all kidnapper uncles? I think I missed something here. It's okay, help's coming soon." said Rendy.

"What help? An ambulance?" ask kalem.

"No, police." replied Rendy as she folded her hands and smiled happily.

"What's? The cops?" suddenly, these four people were surprised and looked at each other.
