Chapter 21. Tracker Owner

After school, Rendy goes straight to Kanaya's cafe after seeing her mother's location from Rendy's watch. Rendy took the taxi as usual.

Arriving in front of the cafe, Rendy was surprised to see Gilang's car parked there. "Why come to see mom?" asked Rendy while running in. Seen Kanaya pleading in front of Gilang.

"Come on, just give me a chance this time. Don't you trust me?" ask Kanaya.

Gilang sat down casually, without regard for Kanaya's plea. Rendy walked over to her mother.

"Ma, I'm home." said Rendy.

"Holy shit, Rendy. I forgot to pick you up, I'm sorry!" sontak Kanaya is shocked to see the arrival of her son when she promises to pick up Rendy after school.

"Yes, Ma." answered Rendy briefly.

"Rendy, come on over here!" bring Gilang. Rendy just wanted to step up, Kanaya immediately held her son's hand stopping her step.

"can't. You can't play with my son before I want to." explains Kanaya.

"What do you want, Ma?" asked Rendy to look at her mother.

"It's adult business, you don't have to interfere. Leave it all to your great mama" Kanaya said, forgetting that her son was much better than her.

"Well, let me think about how I can promote your cafe in my company?" said Gilang playing his fingers.

"Could you, right?" kanaya asked with sparkling eyes.

"Somehow, I don't seem interested" said Gilang, who got up from his seat, then smiled and walked out of the cafe. Before leaving, Gilang waved at Rendy.

"Heee, watch out for you arrogant president. I'll teach you a lesson later!" said an irritated and fiery Kanaya.

"Mom, why ask him. I can too," said Rendy instantly while sitting on a chair.

"really? you're not kidding me?" kanaya said as she stared intently at Rendy.

"Seriously, Ma. I can promote it in this mama's internet cafe. It's easy, why beg someone else?" said Rendy while folding both of her hands.

"That's because your mama is stupid, Rendy." said Riani.

"Ha ha ha," the two compact people laughed, Riani and Rendy. They forget that Kanaya gets angry easily and overflows her emotions.

"What did you say!" kanaya shouted while pulling Rendy's ears.

"For once, Ma, geez. Not Rendy, but aunt Riani." said Rendy pleaded.

"It's too late," said Kanaya who was smiling obliquely looking at Rendy's facial expression pleading with him.

The sun was already drowned, slowly the stars paved the way for the moon to shine brightly. Two people walked home while enjoying the night air. Kanaya looked tired, her eyes were closed a few times.

"Ma, my friend Alex didn't come to school" Rendy said.

"Then?"

"I wanted to ask him. Did he see the person who deviated the tracking device inside my bag." continued Rendy.

"Not exploded. A tracking device is not like a bomb. Even things are that easy mama doesn't know." said Rendy with her mouth held high.

"Law, I used to go to high school. It was also a school in the village." said Kanaya.

"It is very different from me who attended a world-renowned school. Am I not my mother's son?" said Rendy provoking Kanaya's anger.

"Don't hit Rendy a lot, I can throw you in the gutter later" Kanaya warned.

"Ha ha, I'm kidding, Ma." replied Rendy instantly.

Their journey ended so quickly, Kanaya immediately opened the door and lay down when she arrived. While Rendy, sitting while playing with her laptop.

"Rendy, mama sleeps first. My body feels tired all." said Kanaya while closing her eyes.

"Yes, Ma." said Rendy turned her head then returned to focus with her laptop.

Tonight, Rendy is back on an adventure in his world. Rendy started looking for a tracking device that she accidentally stuck to the taxi that drove her this morning.

"Well, what's the location in a house? Is this the cab driver's house?" rendy was confused.

"Or not, this is the house of the man who gave me the tracking device. It is impossible if the taxi driver lives in a complex specifically for the rich. It doesn't make any sense at all." explains Rendy.

"All right, I'll check tomorrow. It just so happens that tomorrow is a holiday" Rendy said shutting down her laptop. He then approached the sleeping Kanaya.

Rendy took the blanket and wrapped it in Kanaya's body. Rendy's gaze became sad to see Kanaya's sleeping face.

"Mama worked hard because of me. From birth, I always troubled my mother. Is there nothing I can do to make up for the happiness my mother left behind?" said Rendy while shedding tears.

A few months ago, Kanaya was once invited to a reunion by high school friends through whatsaap group. However, many of his friends clearly said that Kanaya was not worthy of being invited. Getting pregnant out of wedlock, not knowing the father of the child in his birth, makes the disgrace of his family even where his school used to be, until there are friends who think Kanaya damaged their self-esteem. Rendy who had held her mother's phone and read all the messages, was so angry. He instantly erased Kanaya's group of friends and blocked one by one his mother's friend's number.

"I'm sorry, Rendy, Ma." Rendy's tears ran down Kanaya's face.

"Rain! It's raining! Leak up!" shouted Kanaya who woke up with a shocked face.

"What was that?" kanaya asked confusedly. There was nothing wet and Rendy had also been lying nearby pretending to be asleep. Kanaya lies down and thinks it was just a dream.

Next Day...

Kanaya accidentally doesn't wake Rendy up because it's a day off. But Kanaya has been cooking for a long time and Rendy has not been awake. Finally, Kanaya checks Rendy's bed and is surprised to see that Rendy is gone and only a roll covered in blankets manages to trick Kanaya.

"Where else is the boy going!" yelled Kanaya furiously.

There was a letter that Rendy left near the bed. Kanaya rushed to open it.

"Dear Mama, don't be surprised if your child suddenly disappears. Take it easy, he's fine and just out for a little walk. If you take mom, too crumpled. And don't forget, don't scream like a fidelity, I'll be home before lunchtime. Lope you dear mama." said Kanaya who read Rendy's love letter.

"Just look if you come home later, I make sure you won't dare to go without saying goodbye anymore" Kanaya said as she clenched a letter made by Rendy.

Meanwhile, the person waiting for Kanaya continued to walk around every complex looking for the taxi he was riding at that time. No taxis were parked in the yard.

"I'm guessing the guy with the tracker took the device. Well then, he's quite agile and moves fast. I lost a step from him." said Rendy with a serious face.
