Chapters 27. Escape From Home

In the morning, Rendy is invited by Kanaya to pick up someone at the airport. Rendy had to skip school to accompany her mother to come to the airport.

"Ma, do we have a family living abroad? Why do we have to be at the airport?" asked Rendy to walk behind Kanaya trying to follow her mother's footsteps.

"You don't know, my mom has a special friend and today she told me she's at the airport" Kanaya said with a happy and carefree face.

"Mama and she aren't dating, are they?"

"Mama hopes it can be like that" replied Kanaya who was still focused on finding the whereabouts of people she considered her friends.

"Ware then, papa already has a fiancee and mama now wants to have a boyfriend too. Well, my head is like it's about to break." said Rendy in a slow voice while holding her head.

Suddenly, Kanaya waved with a male person who was standing not far away from her while holding her suitcase. Rendy quickly saw what kind of person she wanted to be her mother's boyfriend.

"Mama didn't choose wrong?" asked Rendy rounding her eyes. Obviously, Gilang is much better than his mama's choice.

"Senior! Finally, you're back." cried Kanaya running over with a happy smile. The man ran over to Kanaya and opened his hands like he wanted to hug her.

"Can't!" rendy's yell stopped Kanaya and the stranger hugged.

"What's wrong with you, Rendy?" kanaya asked, looking at her son in amazement. It was not usual for Rendy to shout loudly in public.

Rendy stepped up, distancing Kanaya from a man in front of her while staring intently at her mama's friend.

"Sorry, uncle. You can't touch my mother until she hugs him, I object as her son very much." Rendy forbade while cross-marking her hands.

"Oh, so this is Rendy you've been telling me about a lot. It's been really big, Kanaya. Well, then, meet me, Rendy. I'm senior Kanaya, my name is Reno." Reno said as she stretched out one of her hands.

Rendy did not respond and instead looked at Reno getting sharper with her pouting face and folded her hands as if giving Reno rejection. Reno gets embarrassed and goes awry, and so does Kanaya.

"Randy!" call Kanaya to try to rebuke her son.

"Ha ha ha, we've never met so not familiar yet. You and Kanaya are just like big brother's sister." said Reno to divert the conversation.

"No, she's my mama. You should know that." - denied Rendy while pointing at Kanaya.

"Senior, we better get going. I think the atmosphere here feels different" Kanaya said, coding Reno.

"Alright." replied Rendy smiling sweetly even though Rendy only replied with her mouth.

After meeting Reno, Rendy sat in front of her laptop while holding her hands ready to type. But, Kanaya came with a flushed face.

"Hey, Rendy! What do you mean, why are you acting like that to your senior?" kanaya shouted with a broom next to her hand.

"Rendy doesn't like him!" rendy replied by shaking his head to signal Kanaya.

"Why not like? You just met already said that. You don't know what kind of good senior it is to mama." Kanaya said no defeat.

"Just like Rendy doesn't agree if you're going out with her" Rendy said she wouldn't budge.

Two people, son and mother looked at each other sharply and then turned their eyes as if sulking together. Kanaya doesn't want to talk to Rendy out of annoyance. So did Rendy, she took care of her clothes and put them in a small blue suitcase.

'He thinks he can get out of here? Ha, it's impossible. Rendy did not know of any other place besides here.' Kanaya mutter at a glance noticed what Rendy was doing.

"For what? If you go please, you will not dare." said Kanaya with a relaxed face as if challenging Rendy.

Rendy had no choice but to move forward, she walked out of her boarding house with slow footsteps intending for her mother to call her back. However, Kanaya did not shout at all to hold back and instead let Rendy keep going until Rendy was outside the boarding house.

"I asked once again, did you not want to hold me back!" rendy shouted impressed forcing.

"No, just go if you dare!" shout back Kanaya.

Rendy then left, walked down the stairs and stopped the taxi. "All right, I'll go to papa's house. Later also mom will realize that I bring all my money." said Rendy smiled full of ignorance.

When he had just finished his meeting, he went back to his room to rest. Suddenly his apartment called him. "Yes?" said Gilang with a face looking tired and lethargic.

"What's? A child looking for me? He said my son?" asked Gilang with a surprised face until he almost fell from his seat.

"good. I'll be there soon." said Gilang leave quickly. Reyhan and Mizuki who just wanted to enter gave Gilang the results of the meeting, instead got hit with Gilang who ran out of his room.

"Lan, where are you going?" reyhan shouted looking back.

"He was in such a hurry. Did something happen to Grandma?" mizuki's asking who's panicking.

"Come on, try to call grandma." Reyhan ordered.

Gilang then headed to the parking lot where his car was there. Then he drove it at high speed until the red light was blown. After arriving at his apartment, a child is seen sitting while sitting his head and holding his knees. Gilang quickly hugged the boy before seeing his face.

"Are you my son?" whiskey Gilang.

"Uncle, how are you? Long time no see." said Rendy sweet voice once welcome Gilang. Gilang who heard a familiar voice, then took off his embrace and looked at Rendy's face.

"Randy!" gilang said in surprise until she froze in place.

"Uncle, may I go inside. I've been waiting a long time, my legs are not strong enough to stand anymore" said Rendy asked.

"Yes, but you have to." said Gilang stopped because Rendy cut the conversation quickly.

"I will explain why I claimed to be uncle's son. But, let's go in now, I'm tired of being here" Rendy said as she pulled her suitcase.

"You're out of Kanaya?" tanya Gilang who just saw Rendy's suitcase.

"Unlike that story, I intended to run away from home and my mother didn't hold me back. So I was forced to leave." explained Rendy with her cute and innocent face.

"It's really strange, we should go inside and tell more stories" said Gilang who was comforted by Rendy's arrival.

After being inside Gilang's apartment, Rendy pulled out her laptop and emailed Kanaya.

Mama don't look for me, I've kidnapped papa.

After sending the message, Rendy closes her laptop and prepares to tell Gilang who she really is.
