Chapter 36. Bad News

Gilang was really upset, he did not expect his men to go home facing him with their bare hands. "Are you crazy? Have you ever seen myself angry?" gilang shouted in the room which made Reyhan slightly away.

"Sorry, Mr. Gilang. You told us to go home." Defend them.

"I told you to come home with my son and my future wife. Not just going home to bring yourself. That's all you don't understand." snapped Gilang.

"But we have not found Gilang's wife and children. Then, Mr. Gilang called and told us to go home."

"Then, whose photo did this friend send you? This is a picture of my son, Rendy. You've met him, haven't you?" said Gilang showed a photo of Rendy with one of the men.

"Yes, that's right Rendy. I took a picture of him before he escaped" he admitted his mistake.

"Here you go back to the village and find my future wife with Rendy. If you don't see me, don't ever show your face in front of me because I could have lost your head. Understood?" asked Gilang while staring intently one by one his men.

"Yes, sir." answered them compactly with a vibrating body. He is always said to obey his words. Therefore, no one dared to play with Gilang if he had received a threat.

"Rey, is there any news about the Aerospace. I heard that four of his men who kidnapped Rendy were locked up in prison. Is that true?" tanya Gilang make sure.

"Yes, I've checked it and it's all true" Reyhan replied quickly as he walked after Gilang.

"Who put him in jail?" said the curious Gilang.

"They said, the little boy they had kidnapped at the mole. I'm guessing if it's Rendy." Reyhan explained.

"How could Rendy do that? He is still a child and should have played more with friends his age, this is even more often played with the kidnappers." said Gilang who smiled to himself considering the adorable face of Rendy.

"Lan, something's bothering me. Mizuki finds a flash drive containing data of Kanaya and Rendy. The flash, Mizuki found it in your apartment" said Reyhan, who stopped Gilang's steps.

"Who would dare to enter my apartment without me knowing? It's impossible, there should be a new fingerprint of mine he can get in." said Gilang with eyebrows linked.

"Honestly, Lan. I don't think Rendy's a typical kid. He has a higher IQ than most people. Was he the one who hacked the Bintang group system?" said Reyhan who was filled with confusion.

"I also wonder who that person is. He did not even use the data he had taken and instead returned it. During this time, the security of this company is well maintained. How could he possibly hack it without us knowing his identity?" ask Gilang who became confused.

Gilang suddenly turned to face Reyhan while patting Reyhan on the shoulder. "Rey, keep doing the search. I want to find that person immediately. I hope to work with him and for the Aerospace problem, I will handle it from now on." ordered Gilang with a sweet smile to Reyhan.

"Alright, I leave everything to you" said Reyhan who agreed while nodding slowly.

The two of them then separated, each heading for his room. Gilang suddenly gets a call from Friska.

"Say, don't you know if Rendy's your son you've been looking for all this time?" ask Friska across the phone.

"I already know." said Gilang briefly.

"Good, if you know. I just wanted to tell you, he and his mother have vanished from this world." Friska explained to Gilang. Gilang directly got up from his seat while silent.

"Don't joke, Friska. I'm really mad if you touch my family. I can also kill you right now." Gilang said in a stern voice. Gilang hung up his phone quickly while trying to make up his breath which was still hunting when he heard Kanaya and Rendy were gone.

"This must be Friska's wits. I can't be fooled, Rendy and Kanaya aren't easy to get rid of. I believe that." said Gilang who was already sweating coldly. He would not have imagined Kanaya and Rendy would disappear in his life when he still needed a lot of time to accompany Rendy and Kanaya together.

"Hufft, I don't want to believe Friska's words." continued Gilang while sitting back in his chair.

Reyhan came rushing over while carrying a few sheets of paper. "Lan, there were two bodies, one child and one mother found in the Kanaya boarding house. I was worried if it was really them." Reyhan reported with a panicked face.

"What's? Two bodies?"

"Yes, Lan. It's probably Rendy and Kanaya's bodies." Reyhan said.

"No way, you have to make sure before you tell me" Gilang said as he struck the table in front of him.

"Sorry, Lan." bow to Reyhan.

"Have any researchers moved there?"

"Yes. I've called our investigators to come. He must have been on the scene by this time" Reyhan said.

"Let's go to Kanaya's boarding house and see who that person really is. I'm not sure if that's true Kanaya and Rendy." Gilang's orders were greeted by Reyhan's nod.

"Okay, I'll get the car ready" said Reyhan who ran out, rushing to execute Gilang's orders.

Gilang also walked out, followed Reyhan. His mind is in chaos right now. 'Friska paati is lying. I have to make sure.' said Gilang who kept thinking.

Then he got into his car and drove a car at a fast speed. He goes to Kanaya's boarding house alone, he even forgets that Reyhan wants to come along. With an anxious face, Gilang continued to drive his car to get in front of the Kanaya boarding house.

Once there, Gilang welcomed many people who had gathered. Some police were forced to intervene to arrange for the affected car to crash. Gilang broke through and immediately saw the corpse that had been wrapped neatly.

"Sir, is this really Kanaya and Rendy?" tanya Gilang questioned the police who were not far from him.

"From the results of the investigation, the team has not been able to conclude anything. His body is as hard to verify as it was to get an accident" explained the police officer.

"Then, if it was an accident victim, why would it be in this boarding house?" ask Gilang with a confused face.

"That's what astonished our team, there might be people who deliberately moved it with a certain intent."

"I've guessed if it wasn't Kanaya and Rendy. May they be well." said Gilang who tried to convince his heart.

"My heart almost fell to the floor. It's all Friska's fault for threatening me. All right, I showed him how I was going to repay him." said Gilang who became upset.
