Chapter 48. Moving Itself

By morning, Gilang was already preparing. He had to get out of town early in the morning to get there as soon as possible and solve the problem straight away.

"Will it be long, right?" asked Rendy who stood up earlier watching Gilang take care of her clothes.

"It won't be long, papa's son. If the problem of papa company is finished, papa will go straight home. It also wants to leave early so that when you get to papa directly visit the papa company there." said Gilang with a friendly smile.

Rendy nodded and walked out of Gilang's room. Her cute and innocent face looked sad. Kanaya who saw him also approached his only son.

"What's wrong? Your face looks unfriendly?" kanaya asked in her flat and cold tone.

"Come, Ma. Rendy doesn't feel good when papa leaves. Is something going to happen to papa?" rendy said while thinking.

Instantly, Kanaya laughed out loud in front of her son. "Ha ha ha ha, you are so funny, dear Rendy" said Kanaya, who had not finished laughing.

"What does mama mean?" ask the astonished Rendy.

"Why do you have such feelings? Is this because your instincts say something will happen or a big problem to the arrogant President? If you tell her, won't she laugh?" kanaya said as she raised both eyebrows.

"Of course the arrogant president will laugh. His son was not a soothsayer but acted like a fortune-teller. Already, you don't need to interfere with the arrogant president's problem. Just solve your problem with me, yesterday we haven't had a chance to argue." said Kanaya.

"Later on, Ma. Rendy was in no mood to argue." said Rendy who passed by to her room. Kanaya turned around and looked at Rendy's face which looked glum once. Only Kanaya's brows furrowed when she saw him.

"That's weird. Why did he have to be that sad? I don't have any more fighting friends" Kanaya said with a rough sigh.

Kanaya hurriedly entered her room, changed into clothes then headed for her cafe. Today he got a message from Riani if many customers come to the cafe. Inevitably, Kanaya must go help Riani.

"Will not go to the cafe?" kanaya asked Rendy as she prepared.

"No, Ma. I just want to be here." replied Rendy.

"Well, if you need anything here, call mama. Let mama buy it." said Kanaya who left in a hurry. Rendy decided to lie down until she fell asleep. Gilang who wants to say goodbye to undo his intention to see Rendy fall asleep.

"I'd better not bother him" said Gilang, who closed the door to Rendy's room.

In the afternoon, Rendy woke up and did not see Gilang anywhere. He also put on a sullen face again because he realized that his papa was gone. Rendy rushes to open her laptop, seeing a lot of e-mails coming in. Because Rendy's phone crashed yesterday in the middle of the road while running after the car that took Rani's grandmother away and forgot to pick it up, Rendy had to use her laptop instead of her phone.

Rendy scrolls through the e-mails she receives and is shocked to see Friska's name. He opened the email and smiled. "It seems he doesn't know if this is my email, the kid you're referring to. It's okay, I haven't taught him a lesson because he's already dared to kidnap, my Oma" Rendy said as she closed her laptop and prepared to leave.

Rendy visits Kanaya in her cafe first. "Hey, Rendy. That arrogant president came here before he left, he gave me a cell phone he said to you" Kanaya said as she ran to open the drawer and gave Rendy the latest phone that had not been opened.

"Well, this phone is so expensive. Papa was very considerate of me." said Rendy who accidentally offended Kanaya.

"So I didn't care about you for not buying you the latest phone?" sahut Kanaya with brows furrowing.

"It's not so, Ma. Mama don't get angry, many customers here later they say mama mengang-angry again." said Rendy by saying bluntly angering Kanaya reached ubun-ubun.

Five minutes later, Kanaya was able to smile again. Rendy took food and drink and wrapped up her mouth. "You want to go?" ask Kanaya.

"Yes, Rendy has a sudden business. Later Rendy contact mama through Rendy's latest phone." replied Rendy who holds her small bag.

"Want me to accompany you? You were always kidnapped making me unable to calm down. So I'm coming with ya?" kanaya. Kanaya quickly ran over to change her clothes, intending to leave with her son. But after he came back, Rendy was gone.

"Based on a bad boy, if you don't want to at least tell me. Don't play in living like this." said Kanaya who was upset.

In the middle of the trip, Rendy took a bus to get to her destination faster. He sat next to a grandfather. After that, open his phone and send Kanaya a message.

[I'm leaving first, Ma. Mama better help Aunt Riani in the cafe. Rendy just went toying.]

After sending a message, Rendy reinserted her phone. Twenty-five minutes passed, and the bus Rendy was on stopped. Several people started to descend, including the grandfather who was sitting next to Rendy. Rendy also came down because she had to go to Alex's house.

Rendy walked down the street of the compound, where she continued to be followed by the grandfather who carried a lot of stuff. "He's a spy or isn't he?" asked Rendy to stop walking while thinking for a moment.

The grandfather then smiled at him by carrying too many things to make his sweat continue to pour. Rendy ran up to him.

"Grandfather want me to help you?" asked Rendy who took a bag as big as a suitcase from the grandfather's hand.

"Related, son? Is this heavy?" ask the grandfather to make sure.

"Grandfather lives in the compound here?" rendy diverted the conversation.

"No, I just want to visit the wife who lives in this complex because she works as a maid" replied the grandfather kindly.

"Stop here, kid. This is my wife's employer's house. Thank you for helping me carry this much stuff" said the grandfather who stopped right in front of Alex's house.

"So this is his house, cake?" point at Rendy while looking inside.

"Yes, son." replied the grandfather with a smile.

'Incidentally, I don't have to bother getting into making sure of things. This grandfather is coming in and I just keep a recording device in one of his things to see the situation inside Alex's house.' Rendy muttered with her brilliant idea.

Rendy already knows what Alex's father's name is. Through the newspaper he had read, Rendy found out.

Rendy waved at the grandfather who brought her things in. Not to forget Rendy put a small camera in one of the grandfather's bags before thrusting it into the fence.

"Thank you, son." said the grandfather with a friendly smile.

"Sama-sama, thank you for helping me as well" said Rendy, who rushed to hide behind a neighboring wall when she saw a sedan drive towards her.

The car stops right in front of Alex's house and descends on a woman Rendy wants to catch. "Tante Friska, please enjoy his free time. Soon I will arrest you for kidnapping me and my grandmother. Moreover, you also planned to kill my mother. I won't let it." said Rendy in a slow voice while clenching both hands tightly.
