Finish swimming. The kids rinsed themselves. Get inside the house. Join their parents.
The four of them were chatting. Occasionally interrupted by laughter.
“You didn't get engaged because you weren't ready?” Dean said.
“You heard it yourself right now.” Sinta Sahut.
“I'm ready.” Said Dylan, “Haliza who hasn't.”
“Hmm, really?” Dean stared at Dylan.
“Yeah. Me and the kids have asked him to marry you all.”
Dean laughed at Dylan's words.
“Why did you refuse the engagement?”
“I'm not ready.”
“But why?”
“I don't think I can move on from my ex.”
“What?” Dean said.
“I also enjoy life more with my children. More free.”
“Yeah! If he married me. There are four additional people to take care of.”
They all laugh.
“How about I'm delirious about my ex”Ask Haliza.
“Leave a dull use of water a bucket what is difficult.” Dylan replied, followed by another laugh.
The children just finished swimming towards the dining table. They're running the dining table. Opening each plate. Fill it with rice and side dishes at the dinner table. Chatting and joking.
While their parents chatted in the living room with the television on before them.
“Ahkam very good and responsible on us all.” Haliza.
“He's not good to you.” Dylan said.
Sinta looked in shock at Dylan.
Haliza was unaware of Dylan's change in tone of voice.
“Your husband won't let you go.” Dylan.
“Who said?” Haliza does not want to lose.
“He wants you to accept his polygamy. He wants to have you both. Kay and Hana.”
“Ahkam is not as tricky as that.”
“Oh yes? He can torture you. What is the name if not tricky.”
Sinta was stunned looking at Dylan. I could feel jealousy in the intonation of Dylan's voice.
As long as they are together. Dylan always protected, loved and loved her. But never jealous of him.
Dean looked towards Sinta. Seeing the changes in the face of his wife that Dylan and Haliza are unaware of.
“I was very angry when I found out Ahkam got married again. Heartache.”
“You are not only heartache but also heartbreak.” Dylan.
“I'm not heartbroken. Proof I ran to you.”
“You didn't run to me but made me run.” Dylan's correction is upset.
“Why are you so mad at me?” Haliza was aware of Dylan's change in tone of voice.
“I'm not angry. Don't be so naive. You're making me an escape. Ahkam doesn't want to let go of you and Hana. He wants to have you both. You don't see how he's always trying to keep your heart and protect you. Say frankly that he won't let you two go. Hana's jealousy towards you.”
“Hana it is greedy. She wants everything.”
“Hana can feel that Ahkam is still watching you a lot. Even the treasures of the Ahkam section are partially given to your children. He doesn't mind dividing his two treasures with you. Gave you extra money. Gifts for your children. All your needs. Always keep Hana away from you. Keeping your heart and feelings from Hana's hatred for you.”
“I think you're overreacting.”
“I'm not overdoing it. You're too naive.”
“You fought like a husband and wife.” Dean could not help his laughter.
“She php me.”Complain Dylan.
“I didn't mean it.” There was a regretful voice in Haliza's tone.
“She likes me first but she leaves me first also.”
“I am not sure about everything.” Haliza.
“Did I say like? She run to me. Use me to cure her heart ache. But, still she leaves me first.”
“I am sorry. “ Sahut Haliza with sorry eyes.
“Nevermind. Maybe you right's. Both of us need to make up our mind. We didn’t ready yet.”
“Thanks for your understanding.”
“I hava no choice.”
Her answer made Dean laugh and Sinta elbow her husband, “Be sensitive.”
Sinta felt that Dylan had started to open his heart to Haliza.
Feeling sad that Haliza will take her place in Dylan's heart. But then he realized that sooner or later Dylan was going to wipe him out of his mind and heart. Not just his life.
They are separated and live their own lives. Perhaps it was time he also learned to love Ahkam and remove Dylan from his mind and heart.
It could be that their true and final love is indeed their respective future partners.
No one can guess their future partner and their last love. They can only live what they can.
But the love they have is not destined forever. Maybe at that time they should be chested.
Love exists because of taste. Not everyone has the destiny to be together forever.
Everyone will always end up with someone who is destined for them forever.
What misses us will never be our destiny, what is our destiny will never miss us.
Every destiny will find its way.
The kids finished eating. They headed straight for the room upstairs. The girls gather in Callista's room. While the boys including Emier gathered in Keanu's room.
“You will have a sister.” Keanu told Emier as they walked across his room.
“Yeah.”
“It's great that I also want to have a sister.”
“I'm your sister.” Plain emier.
“Our fathers are not the same.”
“But our mother is the same.”
“I want daddy to marry aunt Haliza and they give me sister like you got.”
“You want baby sister?”
“Yeah, maybe like that. If you're a baby maybe I don't need to want a sister anymore.”
“I can be a baby.”
“No way!” Keanu chuckled.
More and more chuckling at the silly behavior of Emier.
“Oek...oek...uk.
With a red face. Pipit is puckered upwards.
“You don't look cute and adorable. Rather silly as a clown.”
By late afternoon, Haliza and Dylan said goodbye. After the four of them took turns eating lunch with the children.
“You didn't stay?” Ask Dean.
“Lain times.” Dylan.
“I don't bring any overnight preparations. Kids only.”
“Your houses are close. Or you can also borrow my clothes and Sinta.” Bargain Dean.
“No, thanks.” Haliza and Dylan.
“What are your plans?” Ask Dean.
“No.” Sahut Haliza, “Watch television at home while preparing a snack. May interspersed reading.”
“I'll invite this woman to a weekly night mumpung kids are here.”
“Yeah! Great idea!” Dean said cheering.
“Make much less time we spend together? As a friend?”
“What. You clearly have the right to cancel our engagement. I deserve to fight for our relationship. How?”
Dean chuckled, lovingly looking at Dylan's face. Full-souled.
Half his heart was not willing to let Dylan go. Their relationship is too beautiful to forget.
But indeed fate scratched his pen so sharply.
Haliza looked at Dylan with a laugh.
“You're so silly. I can't give you any certainty. Especially if what you say is true. Ahkam wants to have me daj Hanna.”
“Not that you don't want to be polygamous by him?”
“It was. When I was hurt by his betrayal. But now all that anger is evaporating. If I want to be polygamous with you. Why I don't want to be polygamous by my ex-husband, the father of my children. Refer more preferred for ex-husband.”
“Your iddah time has passed. He already has no rights to take precedence.”
“Stay as I said earlier. I want your polygamy why would I refuse my husband's polygamy? My children will be happier to see their parents together. Than to marry someone else.”
“In our case. Your kids like me and vice versa.”
“You and Ahkam have more or less the same position.”
“I'll fight for my fifty percent chance.” Dylan insisted. The look on his face showed the firmness of his heart.
