Dylan went back to his house alone. The quiet atmosphere made him more comfortable thinking.
Imagine Haliza spending her time with Ahkam her ex-husband. Almost drove him crazy.
What if Ahkam framed or forced Haliza to follow her wishes?
Or seduce? Utilizing the softness and unbearable nature of Haliza?
What am I supposed to do? Haliza went home on vacation with her ex-husband. Next month gave him a surprise test pack with two blue lines.
Oh no! I can go crazy imagining everything that comes to my head. Ahkam gave him sleeping pills or stimulants into his drink. Up next…
Enough's enough! I know what I have to do…
Dylan walked into the airport. Quick preparation of lightning. Ask for help Sinta to work on tickets to Lombok for the earliest flight.
“You want to follow Haliza?” Ask Sinta in a surprised tone.
“Yeah! I don't want anything to happen. I don't trust Ahkam.”
“They are adults. You're going to go on their family vacation. You're gonna mess up their show.”
“Ahkam has hidden plans. I won't let it be sneaky.”
“I thought, you were too jealous.” There was a stinging tone in Sinta's voice.
“I can't think clearly.”
“Tenace. Everything's gonna be fine. Trust everything to both of them.”
“I believe in Haliza but not to Ahkam.”
“I've never seen you like this.” Sinta.
“What do you mean?”
“Entahlah. You're so worried about Haliza.”
“Can you help me?”
“What is it?”
“Most tickets to Lombok.”
“You want to catch up with him?”
“Yeah.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah, I am sure.”
“Is not too much?”
“I think everything feels excessive. I don't want to guess until I see it with my own eyes.”
“You know where they are?”
“Yeah. I've asked Syarif where they stay.”
“Alright I'll book the same ticket and lodging with them.”
“Sin..”.
“Yeah..”.
“Thanks...”
“Don’t mention it. Wish you the best.”
“Thanks. I'm picking up the kids.”
“Not to worry. The kids will feel happy and comfortable spending time with us. Dean already thinks they're just like Emier. Like my own child. Be calm. You just focus on your own business.”
“Yeah, thank you once again.”
“My pleasure.”
The flight was slow. His mind that was filled with all things that contained worry seemed to torture him.
Unable to enjoy the journey. Despite the white clouds, the bright blue sky is beautifully displayed outside the window.
Flight at 07:20 am. Getting him up as early as possible prepared for his departure.
Choose breakfast on the plane. Ordering bread and coffee. His stomach felt more comfortable after filling up with food.
The plane landed at 10:30 a.m. From the airport to the inn by taxi at the airport.
Sinta ordered the room closest to Haliza's room. Three room hose.
Arriving at the inn. Dylan headed straight for the receptionist to show proof of reservation. Demonstrate the requested identity and fill out the form.
Finish check in. Dylan took his suitcase to his room. Open the door to his room. Get in and rest.
Lying on the bed while taking his gadget out of his pants pocket.
[Where are you?]
[Pink beach's. Just got here.]
It means they're not all in his room.
[Alright, have fun. We'll connect again.]
[Alright.]
Dylan decided to take a short break before catching up on pink beach.
The four of them were playing on the beach. When Dylan walked down the beach by himself.
Dylan kept walking nonchalantly.
“Hei! I'm talking to you!”
Dylan turned his body.
“You spoke to me?” He pointed at his own nose.
“Yeah! What are you doing here?”
“Enjoyed.” Answer Dylan casually.
“Where are your children?”
“Together with their mother. I was alone and decided to take a vacation alone.”
“You are following us here?” Ask Ahkam loudly.
“Following you? It's a public place, isn't it? Anyone can vacation here.”
Ahkam. Staring at Dylan then opened his mouth, “what a strange coincidence!”
“We have lunch first.” Haliza told Ahkam and her children, “you want to join us?” Haliza offered Dylan lunch together.
“Sorry, not mean to be rude. But I took Haliza and the kids on vacation. So that we can still feel the family vacation even though we are divorced. Especially for our kids.” Ahkam.
“It just so happens that I haven't eaten either. Thanks for the offer. I want to join you.” Dylan.
“Sorry, Haliza is just stale. You know how women.” Ahkam looked at Dylan sharply.
“Haliza has never been stale. He is indeed very understanding.”
Ahkam moves forward wanting to pull Dylan's shirtcrew but is held back by Haliza.
“Already. We know each other well. Accidentally meet. Coincidentally. We eat together. You can't be rude so.” Sahut Haliza on Ahkam.
Ahkam's face buckled at Haliza's reply. Holding her two hearts before the two who walked behind her.
“From when were you in Lombok?” Ask Haliza.
“Newly until.”
“New arrived and you're straight here?”
“Yeah. This beach is famous for beautiful and unique.”
“Yeah, the sand is pink like Himalayan salt.”
“Yeah.”
Ahkam walked with her two children to the Tangsi food stall. They sat on a wooden dining table surrounded by plastic chairs.
Ahkam flanked by her two children while Dylan and Haliza sat in front of her.
“You only ordered food.” Pinta Ahkam to Haliza.
Haliza researched the menu list. Ordering white rice in a basket. Grilled fish with its sauce. Lobster, shrimp and grilled squid. Coconut water in a shell for all of them. One each.
“You're alone here. Not with the kids?” Haliza's question broke the silence.
“They're at Sinta's house. I'm alone at home. Deciding your own streets here.”
“Yeah, Lombok is indeed a very appropriate choice for a vacation.”
“Moreover family holidays!” Tukas Ahkam.
“What are your plans today?” Ask Dylan. Not responding to Ahkam's annoyance.
“Snorkling.”
“It just so happens that I also like snorkling.”
“I didn't invite you to join. You can snorkel alone.” Ahkam said with a sharp tone.
“You can't be rude so.” Haliza said on Ahkam, “ you can join us. If you want.”
“Thank you.” Dylan developed his smile, “what are your plans tomorrow?”
“We intend to go to Gili Trawangan.”
“I heard the place is very beautiful.”
“Yeah, use boat to there.”
“It looks like I want to join you all.” Dylan.
Ahkam bent his face. His heart is so overbearing to see Dylan ruin his vacation with Haliza and their children.
“Since the beginning, I never offered you to join us. Before we got divorced. We used to take the kids to enjoy the occasional family vacation. We don't want children to feel that our divorce makes us ignore pre-existing holiday traditions.”
“Well then..” Dylan said.
Ahkam looked at Dylan's face with relief. It doesn't seem to be in vain that he bluntly.
“Thank you for your understanding.” Ahkam with a flat face.
“What time will we leave tomorrow?” Ask Dylan.
