The Steel-Cared Rose

The Steel-Cared Rose
Epilogues

A tiny wooden house at the foot of the mountains lies in the Alps. Swiss.

A happy looking woman looked at her two little girls.

His stomach looks swollen. His face was blushing with happiness.

"Ma! I want a little brother!" Calissta ran towards her mother.

"Why do you want a little brother?" His mother laughed at the sight of his eldest daughter.

"Because Saphire is so annoying. Frequently bothers. Take away everything I like! I want a little brother like Jack. Very obedient and fun to play. And never act so shitty."

His mother laughed, "Saphire might want to grab your attention! You should love and pay attention to it."

"You're always defending him!"

"I'm not defending him but he's your brother. You have to give up a lot and pay attention to it. Because you're older. Greater. If you have another brother and a boy. You also have to be patient with him. Brother is different from friends."

"You mean, if I had a little brother would be the same?"

"All the sisters want to be noticed by her brother."

Calissta hugged her mother very tightly.

"I miss papa!"

"Papa's coming this week. You're being patient?"

"Why doesn't papa stay with us and always have to leave us? Not like Jack's dad?"

"Because your father worked away from home to support all of us."

"Can't you work here?"

"Can't be darling. There's no suitable job for your father here."

"I also can't call and video the call. Doesn't he miss me and Saphire?"

"There's no way you don't miss us all. He misses us every second. He fights for all of our lives. Your future and your brothers."

"Let's go to the garden. Will you help me pick vegetables?"

"Sure!"

Calissta was very happy to be in the garden. Saphire followed her brother.

They both helped their mother pick vegetables.  Take the grass to feed their cattle.

The sun is shining brightly. The white cloud clean. The air also feels very fresh and clean. Cold weather is a common thing. They installed heaters in the house and car as well as the bathroom.

The tiny house looks very warm. It has four bedrooms. Three bathrooms. One bathroom is inside the main room while the rest is outside. One above and one below.

The master bedroom is located below with an outdoor room and bathroom. All of them have windows and beautiful views.

Two more rooms belonging to Calissta and Saphire are located on top with outdoor bathrooms.

The living room is integrated with the family room, dining room and kitchen.

A car was sitting next to the house. Next to the vegetable garden. The cattle cages are located quite far from home.

They have cows, goats and horses.

Calissta and Saphire were very fond of helping a worker who worked to take care of livestock and milking.

The workers live near them. About a kilometer from where they live.

A young man, Thomas, works part-time on the sidelines of his school days. Take care of livestock, clean cages and squeeze milk.

Calissta and Saphire also love to squeeze milk. Thomas allowed and taught them to squeeze milk.

Calissta and Saphire are also very fond of riding. Thomas often accompanied them on horseback.

A taxi stopped in front of their wooden house. A man came down with two large dolls.

The taxi driver helped to drop off the items as well as a large suitcase.

"Lad…."

The man smiled broadly. Hugged his two daughters. Kissed alternately.

"This is for you, sweet boy. And this is for you, good boy."

"Thank you, papa."

Both of his daughters kissed him.

Two of the same dolls. The man pulled something out of his bag. A box of chocolates and cookies.

"Where's your mama?"

"In the kitchen. It's cooking."

The man went inside after carrying all the things he was carrying.

Hugging his wife. Kissed her.

"What cooking, dear?"

"Your favorite."

"It's only right that my stomach gets so hungry just by kissing and looking at it."

Wife laughed. Her husband loves steaks with a very soft smash potatoes.

"Thank you, baby…."

The wife kissed her husband. His eyes sparkled happily.

"How long have you been here?"

"Sunday, baby. My work piles. I can't stay here long. Even though I want to be with you all. But I can't. I can see you every two weeks to once a month already makes me very happy. I'm sorry, honey…."

"It's okay. You've done your best for all of us."

"How are you?"

Her husband stroked her protruding stomach. Kissing his wife's stomach softly.

"I can't wait to see you." Talk to the baby in the womb, "When will he be born?"

"One to two weeks."

"You gave birth at home?"

"Yes. I'll call an ambulance if I need a hospital."

"alright. I don't know if I can accompany you or not. If it's this week, I could be with you but next week?"

"It's okay. I can do it myself. You don't have to worry. I've chosen the best home care service."

"yeah. Hopefully he's born this week and I can see him welcoming the world. How about giving birth to a caesarean? Can we manage the time?"

"I want to give birth normally. You don't matter, do you?"

"Of course not. Anything that makes you comfortable. You made the video for me, huh?"

"Sure…."

"Papa accompany us on horseback."

"alright. When?"

"Now."

"Can I eat first? My stomach is hungry?"

"Sure!"

Five days later. His stomach was very hearty and stiff. Her husband called home care services that they had booked.

Cold sweat. Her stomach was getting heartburn and all the childbirth preparations had been done.

"Take a deep breath. Hold on's. Exhale."

The sound of crying babies broke up the room.

"It's a boy!"

Her husband kissed her son affectionately, sacrificing him. The baby was handed over to his mother for initiation. Then breastfed.

"Thank you, baby…."

Her husband kissed her wife's forehead.

"Everything dear."

Both of his daughters wanted to kiss and hold his sister.

"Replace, baby!"

His wife's tears flowed.

"Why crying?"

"I'm happy."

"You don't remember Dean, do you?"

Her husband looked at her with jealousy.

"I feel guilty."

"For what?"

"We faked my death."

"I didn't do it for no reason. I don't want to see you destroyed. He can't protect you and you'll be back surrounded by people who poison you and make you mentally ill."

"I know but still. How's she?"

"I don't know. Sometimes he comes to your funeral. Bringing flowers. You don't have to talk about him anymore. I don't like."

"I'm sorry. I just feel guilty."

"You don't think too much. Your life beside me and our children is none other than that."

"I don't regret your decision and your plan. We just lied to him."

"We can't say it frankly. It'll ruin everything."

"I understand."

"Mrs. Sinta and Mr. Dylan, everything is already done. The conglomeration for the baby boy born…."
