The Story of the Wind Wanderer

The Story of the Wind Wanderer
Magic Potential #20

Slimc ...!!!!

The sword slash was followed by a loud enough voice, clashed very strongly, and then stopped. Altezza lowered the sword he held, facing his personal bodyguard Kenan. The man then stepped to the edge of the training field, and then sat down on a long wooden bench on the edge of the field.

"It seems you look tired and quite agitated this afternoon" said Kenan, standing right next to the prince.

On a sunny afternoon, Altezza was seen spending his time on the daily activities that he almost always did, namely practicing sword and magic in the backyard of the palace. But as long as the man practiced, Kenan rarely saw any spirit in his prince.

"I was at a loss as to who to invite for the party," replied Altezza, sighing heavily, still thinking about it after practicing dance with his mother in the main hall of the palace.

Kenan had a small laugh, seeing the handsome prince was still confused to determine, "i really did not expect a prince like you would be confused to find a partner," he said.

"The couple for the party I mean," continued Kenan, straightened out so that there would be no misunderstanding, because he knew Altezza was always sensitive when it came to couples.

Altezza leaned against the long wooden bench and said, "18 years I live, but it is very rare that I am outside the palace, only if there are tasks or important things. Therefore I have not too many female friends, other than the maids in the palace that I know."

"Do you have any advice?" altezza asked, turning his head and staring at his relaxed but serious personal bodyguard who was standing right beside him.

Kenan had raised his head up, looking at the orange-colored twilight sky and looked very beautiful, before finally giving an answer, "i think I can give advice to you who to invite, who, but can I ask for something?"

"You ... really, deh! Alright, alright! What do you want?" sahut Altezza, looking a little annoyed, but felt there was no other choice because who knows the advice given by his loyal bodyguard can be useful, "but you have to give really useful advice!" he continued, affirming that.

Kenan turned his head, looked at the prince with a small laugh before then saying, "just relax, I think this will be useful, but back to your decision to use my advice or not."

Altezza nodded in understanding, and then said, "say what you want ...!"

Not lacking any respect, Kenan lowered his gaze, faced Altezza and then delivered his plea, "I beg you to teach me how to use magic like you, be my teacher!"

Hearing this, Altezza recalled what he had said when in the library some time ago about him who promised to teach Kenan how to master magic. Not wanting to break the promise, and also grant the request. Altezza answered the plea, "alright, I will teach you the basic technique, the rest stay back to you to intend to master it or not."

"Okay, now try to give me one of your hands ...!" altezza continued, stood up, and faced right in front of Kenan.

Kenan was quite surprised to see the prince straight off his stool, and then told him to extend a hand, "for what?" tanyakanya.

"I want to check the potential magic that is on you" replied Altezza.

"Now?!" sahut Kenan, with a slightly elevated intonation, did not expect Altezza would suddenly turn into a spirit to teach.

"Of course, so that you can also quickly give me that advice!" sahut Altezza, with a sharp and serious look.

Kenan immediately obeyed what Altezza said, extending his right hand. Altezza then positioned his right palm just above Kenan's right hand, before a gust of wind slowly made a ball-shaped wisp of wind between the two palms, and then it slowly broke and decomposed like flying dust.

"What's going on?" kenan asked, staring in awe at what he had just witnessed, and plus himself could feel the wind magic used by Altezza.

"As I expected! Mother's chosen knight is never wrong!" cetus Altezza, smiling at Kenan, then moved, stepping closer to a fake doll in the corner of the field.

"Well, now try to straighten one of your arms forward like you're or want to grab something, and then cast the basic mantra ...!" altezza said, standing right next to a fake statue or doll that looks like it will be targeted.

"Mantra?" cetus Kenan, looks confused.

Altezza just remembered that he had never told Kenan any spell. He immediately told her, the most basic spell that is often taught in the royal magic academy, "O Wind, please listen to my request! Give me the blessing and the strength to wipe out all the enemies that are before me."

Kenan heard what Altezza said, and then tried to imitate him, chanting the same mantra with full concentration. However it was only half the spell casting, and it had not been completed completely. Suddenly a wind magic shot very fast and sharp, not pointing at the target doll, but instead strayed towards Altezza. Kenan was very surprised to see this, but fortunately Altezza was not injured because of a barrier or wind protection that suddenly appeared. Everything happened very fast, there were not five seconds.

"I-I'm sorry, Your Majesty! Really, forgive me! I swear I didn't mean it!" kenan exclaimed anxiously, ran to Altezza, and then immediately bowed his head before his prince whom he had almost killed.

Altezza instead laughed happily and looked very relaxed, although the wind magic used by Kenan is very likely to make him lose one of his limbs, or even to cause death because so fast and sharp wind that shot.

"It's okay, raise your head, it's purely my fault to choose to stand here" said Altezza, holding one of Kenan's shoulders with laughter still heard.

"You're not hurt, are you?" kenan asked, raising his head back, looking anxiously at the prince.

Altezza smiled happily in reply, "my limbs are still complete! Just relax."

Kenan heaved a sigh of relief quite long, after making sure that Altezza was completely fine, there was no wound whatsoever. He was almost sentenced to death by the King for injuring or killing the prince of the kingdom on the charge of premeditated murder of the prince of the kingdom. Fortunately, he did not get the verdict because Altezza was not injured and still alive, and he can still breathe air and breathe normally.

"Surprisingly, even though I have not cast the spell to the end" muttered Kenan, astonished with a gaze staring at his right palm.

"You have great magic potential, and actually the elemental magic ability you're mastering isn't wind magic like me." Altezza spoke as he walked back to the edge of the training field with Kenan.

"Wind isn't elemental magic that I'm good at? Then how was that? Why can I use it? Uh, or .. lest you make me use it? Are you playing me?" kenan asked, completely confused and not understanding what really happened. But clearly when he cast the wind magic, the mood he felt was completely calm, and he also felt a great sensation.

Altezza smiled and had a small laugh at the questions he could not answer one by one. But the young prince gave a hint of clarity, "i don't know for sure what basic elements you have, but what I can feel when I check your magic potential, I feel that you can adapt to some elements, and you can use other elements in addition to the basic elements that you are good at."

"Simplenya .. You can use other elemental magic easily, as long as you touch or get exposure to the magic. For example, in fact, after I use my wind element, you can use it" continued Altezza.

Kenan was just silent, looking confused, because he did not have more knowledge or science about magic. But Altezza suggested, "if you want to know more about magic, you can ask Welt, his magic is more than I have magic."

"Your Majesty, I am curious and would like to ask you," said Kenan, as he walked towards the back door of the palace, as the day also slowly approached evening and night.

"Just ask, if I can answer it, I'll answer!" sahut Altezza's.

"Can you be like me too? My point is ... problem ... adapt to the magic of other elements," said Kenan, turning his head and looking at his prince with a curious look.

Altezza lifted both shoulders and replied, "i don't know for sure, but I was 15 years old. Mom had told me that I could adapt, but I had never felt or done it. It's still just an unproven guess."

"By the way, you still owe me that advice, yeah!" altezza continued, again turning the topic of conversation to the initial topic, namely the promise of Kenan who he said would give him advice.

Kenan chuckled and replied, "yes, I'll give you my advice after this."
