Eps. 68 Meeting Parents
Jovi drove his yellow car back and drove at standard speed. He saw the cake he bought for his mother.
“This time is all I gave them?” feeling less. Along the way he also returned to look around the streets to find something that can be used as an addition. “Maybe dad with the fruit.” see fruit kiosk.
Jovi placed his car towards the fruit stall on the side of the road and parked it beside the stall.
“What fruit does he say I should give to dad ?” Jovi looked at the various fruits that were there and was confused about what to buy. “Pak please in this pack...this and that.” points to wine, avocado, pome, curvature and red apple. “Good miss.” the owner immediately picked up and weighed Jovi's order.
As usual Nathan stopped four meters from the fruit stall was, behind a car that happened to stop by the side of the road.
“What does he buy that much fruit for?” Nathan sees Jovi returning to the yellow car with a lot of fruit in his hand. “Is anyone sick ? Who is he looking at ?” Nathan was just guessing.
“Klak.” Nathan immediately drove his car back when he saw Jovi get into the car and closed the door. “Where exactly did he go ?” following Jovi through the highway then into an alley and stopped in front of a luxurious house among a row of houses around it.
“Ding-dong. Mothers... Father...” Jovi immediately rang the bell and called his parents as soon as he got out of the car.
“It's like Jovi's voice. Did I not hear wrong?” the mother from inside the house was like hearing her daughter's voice calling out to her. “I just check to make sure it.” mom walked towards to the living room and opened the door immediately.
“Mother...” call Jovi when you see her mother out of the house. Jovi...” replies Mom called him then hugged him. “Mother has long been waiting for your arrival here. Come in and invite Deon to enter.” mom took off her hug then stared at the closed car.
Jovi took the fruit and cake he bought and partly gave it to his mother because she could not bring it all alone.
“That woman could she be Jovi's mother?” Nathan looked at the female figure who looked like there was a resemblance to Jovi. “So here his parents' house.” Nathan looked inside the car without opening the window.
“Jovi a lot you brought, son.” mom smiled widely carrying pudding and fruit while walking into the house. “Where's dad, mom ?” Jovi sits and stares around looking for the whereabouts of his invisible father.
“Your father hasn't come home yet maybe soon. Is there something you want to tell dad ?” she sat in front of Jovi. “No ma'am, actually tomorrow I'll be back in my dad's office. Father-in-law allowed me to return to work.” Jovi told a fiery story and continued his story.
Outside Nathan's house is seen turning his car around just as Jovi's father's car is coming in.
“I'm like I've seen that car.” Jovi's father glanced at Nathan's car passing through. “Whose yellow car is it?” I am curious about the guests who visited her house.
After parking the car, Jovi's father walks into the house. From outside he heard his daughter's voice.
“Jovi.... ?!” he said when he saw what came was indeed his daughter. “Dad..” Jovi stood up and approached his father and kissed the back of his hand. “Where is Deon ?” looking for an invisible daughter-in-law.
“He's busy well. Don't ask him again.” Jovi replied firmly and made the man think whether his daughter-in-law was busy or there was something between the two of them, but that was just his guess. And he put that aside first and chatted with his old daughter who had not met him.
