The Trapped Princess

The Trapped Princess
RED CAMELLIA

The rain seemed to fall swiftly accompanied by lightning striking incessantly. A car speeding through the rain, in which it appears a woman driving while with all her might holding back tears, she seemed to try to focus through the slippery road.

"Ciiiiiiiiit.." The car turned right into a well-known private hospital. He began to reduce the speed and stopped for a moment at the self-parking ticket retrieval portal, after the portal opened, the car drove back towards the underground parking lot. The woman's blue eyes deftly caught the empty parking slot and immediately without hesitation increased the speed towards the parking lot he was heading to.

"BRAZIL!"

The loud clashing sounds deafening, the woman's car hit hard an expensive white car that appeared to be eyeing the same parking slot. A protective airbag inflated in front of the woman, saving her from the impact wound. The white car looks backwards, the woman catches the opportunity and parks the car, after believing she parked the car properly, she takes off the seat belt, grabs her limited edition bag and gets out of the car in a hurry.

His black high heels squeaked on the floor, he stepped quickly toward the white car which was now parked several slots behind his car. He knocked on the windshield next to the driver, the door opened and a man in a doctor's suit came down and stood in front of him.

"I'm sorry I was wrong for being too careless, I'll replace the damage to your car" the woman reached into her bag and pulled out her card and opened and handed the doctor a black and gold card. "You can call me at the number, sorry I have important business, excuse me."

"Wait, wait" said the doctor, stopping the woman's steps.

"Yes?" asked the woman again to look at the tall doctor, shortly after the woman's phone rang, the woman reached back into her bag, grabbed his phone which now displayed a row of unknown numbers.

"All right, you can go now. I just make sure the number on the card is not a fake number" said the doctor.

The woman smiled awkwardly then lowered her head in a salute, then she turned away, again stepping hurriedly towards the elevator in the middle of the parking lot. He got into the elevator and pushed the number 3, various things filled his mind, he looked riled up.

"Mom!" call a lady in a doctor's suit who sees her when the elevator opens, the doctor's short hair looks a little messy.

"Vivi" said Ara as she got out of the elevator and approached the female doctor. "Vi, how?" asked Ara with a slightly trembling voice.

Vivi seemed to grab her best friend's hands and hold them, "Ra, you want to go in first and I tell you in the dalem, do I want to tell you out here?"

Vivi tried to warm her best friend's cold hand, "your hand is cold."

"You know I just landed" Ara took a deep breath and looked at Vivi's brown eyes. "Vi, just tell me I'm here."

Ara nodded, "better I know before entering so I can prepare myself."

"OK," Vivi pulled her best friend's hand towards the row of chairs in the ICU waiting room located next to the entrance of the room. Vivi sat herself down and patted the chair beside her, asking Ara to sit down.

Ara sat herself down exactly as Vivi asked, she took a deep breath and prepared to hear the bad news she had predicted. He should have come back three more days, but somehow 12 hours ago his heart was not calm and wanted to return, based on the experience so far, Ara's heart was never wrong, Ara said, so he immediately diverted all the remaining tasks to his subordinates and re-elected as soon as possible, sure enough when he just landed and activated his phone, fifteen miss calls from Vivi signal that her heart is leading her to the best decision to go home.

"Sorry Ra, we tried our best, but I'm sorry your grandmother died at 20:20," Vivi looked into her friend's teary eyes.

Ara had expected bad news from her best friend, but her heart was still unprepared, it was painful and tight. Tears flowed hard, he could no longer stand. Vivi grabs her best friend, pulls Ara into a hug and pats Ara's back softly, giving support without saying much. Ara started to let out her cries, she sobbed loudly in Vivi's arms.

Outside, the rain continued to drench the earth with a rush. The roar of the wind blew fiercely accompanied by lightning striking. The sky looked sad, as if mourning the loss of Grandma Ara.

Vivi's shoulder was wet from Ara's tears that never subsided. "Before she died, she told him to be buried next to the red camellia flower garden."

Ara took off Vivi's embrace and looked at her best friend's face, "didn't you hear me wrong?"

Vivi grabbed a handkerchief from her doctor's suit pocket and wiped the tears on Ara's face. "No Ra, the grandmother clearly said that she wanted to be buried next to the red camellia flower garden, she has always said that since getting into the ICU" Vivi replied as she continued to wipe away Ara's tears.

Ara began to calm down, her mind drifting wondering why grandma asked to be buried next to the red camellia flower garden? During his life, his grandmother was very fond of flowers, he even bought a large area in the mountains and turned it into a flower garden, many kinds of flowers that he planted there, he said, ara's grandmother divided her flower garden into several parts, in addition to opening the flower garden as a tourist attraction, Ara's grandmother also sold her flowers to several flower shops. Every day the grandmother also always arranges flowers from the garden that are sent home, but there is one flower that Grandma never strung at home, namely red camellia flowers. Grandma did not even allow Ara to touch or even approach the red camellia flower garden, but why did she ask to be buried next to the red camellia flower garden? What is it about red camellia?

"Vivi, please take me to see grandma," Ara clasped Vivi's hand. "I want to see it one last time" said Ara Lirih.

Vivi nods and helps Ara stand up, she embraces Ara's shoulder and gently turns her towards the entrance of the ICU room, right in front of the door Vivi stops and looks at her best friend. "Grandmother also advised that you do not cry in front of her, you will know that grandma is always sad and worried when you see you cry. You can cry as much as you can but not when in front of her, okay?"

Ara nodded weakly, knowing that if she made a sound, her tears would definitely fall again. Ara grabbed Vivi's left hand and grasped it tightly, Ara even hugged Vivi's left arm, while waiting for Vivi to bring her card closer to the scanner to open the door, Ara repeatedly took a deep breath and shortly after the door opened, they entered slowly stepping to meet the grandmother.
