Who Are You Actually?

Ara tried to master the disappointment in her, she constantly reminded herself that she was only a personal bodyguard of the Crown Prince. His heart certainly hurt to see the woman who was supposed to treat him warmly and lovingly, now seem to ignore him and just focus on the son. But again Ara reminded herself that she never deserved the affection of the Queen.

Slowly Ara makes herself disappear, she stays in Elrick's room but chooses not to be seen and stands in the corner, trying to stay away but also not ignoring his master's orders. Both of his hands clenched, holding back with all their tear power who kept trying to break through his defensive fortress.

"The place was closer to the mother's residence so that the mother could save energy than coming all the way here. Then let's do as you wish" said Elrick wisely and smiling broadly at the Queen.

"Well then mother goes first" the Queen stood up and turned to her dead Elrick, who bowed to deliver his departure.

"You can show yourself now" said Elrick, sitting down again.

Ara again appeared to her and saluted, "Your Majesty."

"I'm sorry if my mother's treatment offended you, Ara" said Elrick, looking at Ara.

"Hamba doesn't dare His Majesty, there's nothing for His Majesty to worry about, I'm fine." Elrick's words made Ara's heart a little calmer, "Your Majesty is there anything I can do for you?"

"Can you teach me magic?"

Ara could not hide the shock from Elrick's unexpected question. Just this morning Gigas said that the royal family can also do magic, Ara felt strange about the question of the Crown Prince.

"I can't do magic like my family, Ara." Elrick felt his body a little limp and broke out in a cold sweat, "i'm different from my family. I think you should know because you've given me your oath of honor."

Ara's heart ached at Elrick's words, she looked at the Prince. "Your Majesty what happened? Is Your Majesty sick?"

Ara drew closer to Elrick and placed the back of her hand on Elrick's sweaty forehead.

"I'm fine Ara, this is a side effect I used to feel after my mother channeled her energy into me."

Tears that had been painstakingly dammed Ara, now poured out with a rush, flowing down her cheeks.

"Why are you crying?" Elrick stretched out his trembling right hand and wiped away the tears on Ara's cheek.

Ara cried even harder to find the warm treatment Elrick gave, he grabbed Elrick's right hand and slowly he quietly unsealed and drained the Queen's energy in him.

Ara formed a protective barrier and concentrated on Elrick. "Let me help you lie down, Your Majesty."

Ara rubbed Elrick's body, now soaked in cold sweat, without stopping to drain the energy from inside her, until Ara helped Elrick lie down. Ara then covered Elrick's body with a blanket, Ara's right hand she used to pat Elrick's back slowly, like Isabel's grandmother did every time she wanted to sleep when Ara was agitated.

Elrick seemed to sleep in his sleep, Ara took the opportunity and then he touched the head lightly Elrick, Ara again focused on flowing the Queen's red energy on the crown prince.

"Her Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen arrived," a loud cry from the direction of the door made Ara gasp.

Ara stopped what she was doing, but she realized there was not enough time to re-seal the Queen's energy in her, without a second thought Ara left the protective barrier and made a portal in haste.

"Braak!"

Ron stared at the protective barrier attached protecting his son who appeared to be sound asleep. "He's sleeping?"

Aurora shed tears at the sight she rarely saw, usually whenever she channeled her energy to Elrick, her son would feel pain and break out in cold sweat, this time he saw his son sleeping peacefully.

"My decision to accompany you here when you were just leaving seems to be the right one."

Aurora approached the barrier and stuck her hand slowly, "who made it?"

Suddenly a portal formed and revealed Ara coming out of the portal. "Honor the servants of His Majesty the King and the Queen" Ara said as she bowed to the two.

"Did you make this barrier?" aurora asked Ara without further ado.

"Your Majesty, I made it so that His Highness the Crown Prince could rest in peace even if it was just a moment." Ara quietly adjusted her breathing slightly faster as it hastily sealed her power earlier. "Please forgive the servant if the servant surpasses His Majesty's limits."

Ron seemed to give a slightly sharp glance to Aurora, until the wife sighed and approached Ara.

The Queen grabbed Ara's right hand and held it, "thanks to you my son can fall asleep comfortably without the pain he's been feeling all along."

"Hamba is just doing the job ha.."

Ara's words were cut off when she sensed a stream of energy barging in from the Queen's hand grasping it. Ara felt her sealed aura now thrashing until she felt immeasurable nausea, her head dizzy and her legs felt weak, until she finally fell down.

"No, I can't let go of my seal even if I die!" ara said in her heart, but now the half-dead necklace she had hidden in her chest, glowed bright red.

The queen sat down in front of him with a worried face and continued to apologize, while Ara was only focused on maintaining the seal, Ara also tried her hardest to use covering the red light from the pendant on her chest, he covered it with both hands.

"Dad, mom what are you doing here?"

The crown prince's voice caused all attention to be distracted, a red glow seemed to glow from Elrick's body which was now confused as a result of having just woken up from his short deep sleep.

"My son, you.." The king destroys the protective barrier and approaches Elrick, hugging his son. "Finally the Power hears our prayer, my Queen."

The Queen only looked at her son from afar, she was still sitting in front of Ara with her hands still holding the hand of the girl of her son's bodyguard.

"Are you the one who made my son glow that bright?" the Queen asked with a trembling voice, her eyes looking teary-eyed withstanding tears.

The king and Elrick went back to silence waiting for Ara's reply which now looked deathly pale.

"My son was always in pain after I visited him, but I saw you make him sleep soundly like a baby. Not only that, he was even struck with a glowing red light like a supposed successor, the light we had been waiting for, but why did all this happen after you came?"

Queen Aurora looked at Ara expectantly, "who are you really?"
