The Trapped Princess

The Trapped Princess
The Flower of Life

Ara stepped her feet through the yellow tulip garden at the base of the yellow mountain foot. A smile continued to expand on her beautiful face, with the warm sunshine adding to the beautiful look of the Queen. The light blowing wind blew away Ara's long hair that was left unraveled, she closed her eyes, trying to sink into the comfortable feeling that nature gave her.

Ara thought back to all that she had been through, in her heart she prayed that the entire royal family be blessed with health, prosperity and happiness, let only she bear all the sorrow.

Slowly he heard footsteps approaching towards him, slowly but surely, accompanied by a thick scent of mint.

"Honor Your Majesty."

Ara turned her body and found that someone was resting, that person looked familiar with the battle robe that was fittingly attached to her body, but Ara could not see her face because she was looking down.

"Hamba Arion the lord of fire, asked for forgiveness for being late to pay respects to His Majesty."

Ara felt her body suddenly become stiff, she did not expect the person she considered to be a teacher, now gathered to pay her respects. Ara tried to concentrate her energy on finding courage, then she opened her mouth, "stand up!"

Arion obeyed him and stood before him with a respectful look. Her body still looked like before, strong and untouchable, yet Ara saw a hint of worry on her face. Ara watched Arion and it seemed that the person before her did not recognize her new form at all, Ara took off all the burdens in her heart, trying to show a knotty smile.

"You seem worried," Ara looked Arion in the eyes with courage and calm demeanor, as if this was her first time meeting the fire lord.

Arion stared back at Ara, and without hesitation he began to reveal all of her head. "Hamba is worried about Princess Eleanor's fate, she suddenly disappears after transferring all of the Queen's energy to Crown Prince Elrick."

Ara's eyes were wide open, she did not expect the general to worry about her. Ara's heart rumbled, the General who usually looked stiff and firm now seemed to be removing his own mask, and without worry appeared without hindrance before Ara, the new Queen. How could he trust the new Queen for the first time?

"You don't have to worry, he's fine."

Instantly Arion's countenance turned bright hearing Ara's words, there was a glimpse of a smile etched on her face but then it seemed to disappear without a trace.

"Is there anything else bothering you?" Ara maintained her calm demeanor and waited for Arion to reply.

Arion's thick eyebrows seemed almost fused together, "is the Crown Prince really capable of carrying out the mandate later on?"

Ara clutched tightly onto the staff in her right hand, and stared at it as if it had penetrated into Arion. "If he seems incapable then it is your duty to make him capable."

Arion seemed to be not expecting Ara's words, his eyes seemed focused on looking at the Queen, Ara was preparing to receive a rebuttal from the General.

"Hamba will do it Your Majesty, I beg you to resign."

Ara rounded her eyes as if she could not believe what she heard, since when did Arion become a submissive? Is there something wrong?

His eyes followed the figure of Arion who slowly moved away until it disappeared swallowed by the portal. "Hyana," call Ara Iirih.

Instantly Hyana's figure appeared beside Ara, "can I help Your Majesty?"

Hyana commented a sweet smile towards Ara, "just like the other four rulers, lord Arion was also born with a destiny that had been attached to him."

Ara waited for Hyana to continue her words with complete calmness.

"All the creatures on the yellow mountain were born from a flower petal filled with the hope of a married couple to have offspring, and we were born with a destiny that had been clearly attached," Hyana approached a tulip flower that looked withered, she flicked her right hand and at once the flower seemed to return to health with a stalk that stood firm.

"A flower petal?"

Hyana nodded, "ah this time there's one growing in Ghian and Tami's courtyard, is Your Majesty pleased to see it?"

Ara smiled, "of course."

Hyana nodded and flicked her hands, as soon as the yellow petals filled Ara's gaze, as if climbing the flowerbed, Ara and Hyana moved quickly.

"It's up to Her Majesty" Hyana pulled back all of her petals until a bright yellow light re-entered her palm. "This is the third flower of life that grows in the yard of Ghian and Tami."

"Does that mean, this time they are waiting for the presence of the third child?"

Hyana shook her head weakly, "the two had not previously given birth to a single baby for them, the flowers had even withered before the right time."

Ara felt the sadness emanating from Hyana, Ghian and Tami's words must be very sad. Ara approached the giant rainbow-colored flower she first saw on the Yellow Mountain, the stick she held in her right hand, she moved it to her left hand, and she moved it to her left, then he grabbed the petals of the flower of life with his right hand.

Ara closed her eyes as she touched the petals of the life flower, the yellow mountain natural energy felt dancing around her, the clouds above her body turned more transparent, as well, as a bright light shot out from the Queen's palm, shining the flower of life into it, Ara seemed to offer prayers in her heart solemnly.

Hyana observed the Queen in silence, all that was within the Queen was the immeasurable blessing of the universe, a perfection that could not be ruled out. He more than understands that the power in the Queen can destroy the universe, but somehow the Queen seems indifferent and humble. As if everything in the Queen is a mystery that is stored very neatly.

Ara's eyes slowly opened revealing pitch-black eyeballs that looked radiant under the sunlight, a smile engraved on her red lips making anyone admire her beauty, no exception, the loyal Hyana was beside him.

"Thank you for giving me the chance to see it" Ara said with her melodious voice like a beautiful tone in Hyana's ears.

"It is the duty of the servant, Your Majesty."

Hyana returned the Queen's smile sincerely, then she observed the Queen's right hand slowly removing the petals of life flowers belonging to Ghian and Tami. Hyana seemed to hold her breath, her mouth even opened in astonishment. The flower petals that once seemed ordinary now appear to bulge with a bright yellow color and a stem that looks very sturdy, the size also grows to be many times larger.

"I think it's time to go."

Hyana regained her consciousness when the Queen began to step away, Hyana's heart was overwhelmed with shock, the flower of life was the only flower on the yellow mountain that she could neither touch nor fix, because the flower of life carries the destiny of another life in it so that it cannot be manipulated even by it who has the authority, but today the Queen proves to her that nothing is impossible.
