"Are you sure it's okay if I live alone?" vivi asked looking at Ara anxiously, she seemed reluctant to leave her best friend in front of the still wet tomb.
"Sure Vi, I know that I'm not okay but I'm not going to be stupid, just calm down!" Ara tried to smile knots at Vivi, "there they are, I'm not alone."
Vivi turned to look at some of the garden workers as well as the people of Ara's confidants and Ara's late grandmother who were still standing around the tomb, "are you going to stay over?"
Ara nodded, "yes, I'm too tired to go home and again there are some things I need to take care of here."
"All right, let me know right away if you need anything."
Ara hugged her best friend, "of course, thank you Vi. Go now, I know your work awaits."
"Remember to never be foolish, can you promise me?" vivi asked Ara to say a promise, because Vivi knew that Ara never reneged on the promise she made.
"Sure, I promise. Go now before the fog descends Vi, be careful on the road" Ara said, turning Vivi's body upside down.
Vivi turned her head while giving A knotty smile to Ara, then she turned around rushing away. In this mountainous area, the fog would only disappear when it was noon, afternoon to morning the entire region would be filled with thick fog that interfered with visibility, many accidents occurred as a result, as a result of which, so people who are not used to always choose the time of day to enter or leave this area.
"Miss, let me drive to the villa."
Ara turned her head towards a middle-aged man wearing a black wide hat on his head, a confidant of grandmothers in the flower garden. "Thank you Uncle Bradley" Ara told him.
"Let's miss, please." Uncle Bradley began to step up showing Ara the way, while Ara followed behind her. The crowd still gathered around the tomb bowed their heads to Ara, saluted her until her figure was no longer visible, then they dispersed, returning to their respective work.
Ara and Uncle Bradley passed through a path decorated with flowers on his left right, high arches decorated with beautiful wisteria of various colors that crept and hung down like a curtain, make them appear to pass through the hallways of beautiful and fragrant flowers.
"The flowers are beautiful" said Ara whispering admiring the various flowers she saw.
"Wisteria flower is one of the favorite flowers of the late mistress, the mistress almost planted it in every corner of the garden, except one color."
Ara seemed interested in Uncle Bradley's direction of conversation, "what color is uncle?"
Uncle Bradley stopped his steps, he looked meaningfully at the villa in front of him. Ara followed Uncle Bradley's line of sight, a beautiful villa surrounded by purple wisteria flowers all over the side filling his vision, even the wisteria flowers propagate lushly on the roof to make the villa look like a flower roof.
"Violet color, miss." Uncle Bradley looked Ara in the eye, "the lady always said that purple wisteria flowers always remind her of you, miss."
"really? I thought she liked it so much that she planted it at home, too" Ara said in response to Uncle Bradley's remarks. "Didn't every flower have meaning? So uncle, what does the meaning of purple wisteria flower so much like it and forbid it planted in any place?"
Uncle Bradley smiled meaningfully, "good question miss. But unfortunately I only know the meaning of red camellia flowers, I do not know the meaning of other flowers."
"Then will uncle tell me what red camellia flower means? I wonder why the grandmother who had been preventing me from even touching the flower, even ended up asking to be buried next to her."
Ara looked at Uncle Bradley expectantly, she knew uncle Bradley seemed reluctant to share, but Ara seemed to still hold hope in him. Uncle Bradley was always next to grandma when grandma visited the flower garden, even Ara had mistakenly thought that the two of them were lovers.
"You'll find out after you meet Miss Alvaro, wait in the villa, we've prepared some food for you inside, miss can eat it while waiting for Alvaro to come," uncle Bradley replied as he walked towards the front door of the villa, pressing a few buttons until the door opened automatically.
"Please miss, have a good rest."
Ara stared at the purple wisteria flowers that decorated in every corner of the villa on the outside, really looking like a house in a fairyland, so beautiful that it felt unreal.
"I'm sorry miss," uncle Bradley lowered his head in salute, then stepped away leaving Ara alone.
Ara looked at Uncle Bradley's back that looked as imperceptible as ever, Ara knew Uncle Bradley must have kept a deep sadness in his heart, just like himself.
Ara took a deep breath again and began to step into the purple wisteria flower villa, a favorite villa of grandmothers who loved so much. Ara closed the front door and walked towards the living room, the fragrance of various kinds of flowers bursting into her sense of smell. Ara walked through the living room full of roses, in the living room looked his paintings and grandmother beautifully displayed.
"Tock.tock...tok.."
Not yet had Ara stepped through the living room, the sound of knocking on the front door made her step stop. Suddenly Ara was suspicious, "strangely, Alvaro always pressed the bell when visiting the grandmother's villa, why did he knock on the door this time?"
Ara again walked through the living room and stopped behind the door, she stood up and felt shudder, her hair standing up. "Who?" asked Ara while checking the screen attached to the wall, her instinct prevented her from opening the door immediately.
Ara waited a long time, there was no answer at all, even the screen on the wall did not show a person at the door. Ara looked confused and felt odd, she reached into her black blazer pocket and grabbed her phone. Ara decided to call to make sure of something.
"Hello miss, I'm sorry for not being able to accompany the lady at the funeral of the late lady Iselda" Alvaro said in a trembling voice and inaudible voice.
"What's wrong, I'm sorry I can tell you where you're at, sir?" ask Ara to make sure.
"Sorry lady, I was in France to lead the seminar and training for three days, fortunately today is the last day. I will hurry to see the lady when all is done" replied Alvaro, the grandmother's confidante's lawyer. Alvaro was five years older than Ara, but he seemed to place a high regard on Ara.
"No need to hurry sir, you can settle it quietly, I will also remain in the villa wisteria for a few days," ara said, concluding that the knock on the door did not come from Alvaro who came.
"Prear!" the sound of something falling and breaking sounded shocking.
"Miss are you okay? I heard the sound of something falling" Alvaro asked in a worried voice.
"Ah I'm fine, alright please continue your activities sir, sorry to have interfered," said Ara as she looked towards the grandmother's room, as long as the sound of objects falling.
"Thank you miss" Alvaro said, then hung up.
Ara held her phone tightly, slowly she turned to the right of the living room, gathering the courage to open the grandmother's room, for some reason a strange chill surrounded Ara, he turned the golden-coloured grandmother's door knob.
"Female.prang.praaaang!"
Ara's body trembled violently, her grandmother's five beloved jars suddenly ruptured by itself, Ara even watched with her own eyes, the last three jars that suddenly cracked and broke, the shards fell apart touching the floor with a voice that added to the strange aura. Ara looked out of Grandma's room, everything seemed fine in the living room, but why did it look so messy and strange in her grandmother's room? it was as if someone was angry and trying to ruin everything.
Ara stuffed her phone into the pocket of the blazer, she drew closer towards the shards of the urn and squatted observing. A white gold necklace with a round pendant drew Ara's eyes, she reached out her right hand to grab it.
"Let's!" Ara frowned, her index finger tips were scratched by sharp ceramic shards, her blood seemed to dye the fingertips, as if it was about to drip, but Ara's heart encouraged her to continue grabbing the necklace. Ara tried to lean her body forward, and grabbed the necklace by pulling its round pendant.
"Oh no!" Ara was shocked when she found the blood on her index finger dirtying the perfectly hanging round pendant. He stood up and walked over to the tissue on the nightstand next to Grandma's bed, just as his right hand was about to wipe the pendant with a tissue, the pendant seemed to move slowly split into two thin layers and moved in opposite directions, as if opening slowly.
Ara fell on her grandmother's bed, she watched the necklace closely. Ara's eyes were wide open, as she opened the pendant, her heart felt a little pain, her head was dizzy instead of playing, she felt her heartbeat quicken.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" ara shouted helplessly in the pain of greeting, she rolled with her hands still tightly grasping the necklace, while the round pendant continued to open, as if trying to uncover a deep secret.
