The Trapped Princess
About Carel

"Sure, come here Lea." Acasha looked at Lea with a smile, her eyes twinkling, "look, Carel deliberately woke up to greet you."

Elea walked over and looked into the baby box, her lips smiling without her noticing. Inside the crib lay a tiny baby who looked a lot like his father, his hair and eyes pitch black with thick eyebrows and pale white skin.

"Oh look, he likes you Lea." Acasha looked excited as Carel smiled at Lea, Carel's hands outstretched toward Lea, "Carel wants you to carry."

"Can nek?" ask Elea for permission.

"Of course, hurry up Carrel!"

Elea grabbed Carel's tiny body and held her carefully in a sling. "Smart boy, handsome boy, you look a lot like your father yes" Elea said speaking to Carel. "Carel is very adorable grandma," said Elea as she stroked Carel's cheek.

"True, I couldn't afford to leave her for too long, Carel always made me miss."

Elea smiled at Acasha, "Carel is very handsome, besides his handsome father, I'm sure his mother must be very beautiful. Where's Carel's mom? Did he go with Carel's father?"

Acasha shook her head slowly, her eyes that had been sparkling happily, now looked foggy. "Carel's mother was dead, she died even before Carel was born."

Elea was sad, but there was something odd about Acasha's answer. How could Carel's mother have died before Carel was born, and how did Carel come into this world?

"Carel was born not of a natural process" Acasha sat herself in a magnificent bed right next to Carel's baby box.

Elea followed Acasha sitting slowly, with Carel still continuing to stare at her nonstop, her round black eyeballs looking extremely adorable. Elea hugged Carel and warmed the tiny body in her arms, after she became convinced that Carel was in a comfortable position, he turned his gaze towards Acasha who now looked at a painting across the bed with a sad look.

Elea follows Acasha's gaze, an incomplete family photo she met before entering Carel's room, now looking different from the presence of a beautiful and tough woman in it, with the comfortable Carel in the figure's embrace.

"I asked my friend to paint it with magic, she was able to see Carel's face even before Carel was born. I want Carel to know what a great mother she has, even though she never met her mother. I also wanted Vey to know his son's form before he died" tears began to flow down Acasha's cheeks.

Elea shifted her seat, but her hand could not reach Acasha because she was holding Carel. Elea let out her black aura and began to envelop Acasha's body, trying to give her some comfort. Elea's black aura seemed to mingle with Acasha's black aura without rejection, "Carel and her mother must be very grateful to have a grandmother, they must be very grateful for everything she has done."

Acasha shook her head softly, "I should have prevented my son from marrying Vey, if I had done so I might have been alive by then."

"Don't you just say that grandma is grateful to have Carel?" Elea tightened her hold on Carel, her right hand began to pat Carel's body softly. "Lea was sure that Carel's mother did so without coercion, she must have thought of the consequences, and having Carel was also a boon to her, being Carel's mother was a choice she had taken, Grandma," elea said trying to calm down.

Acasha seemed to take a deep breath, she tried to calm herself down. "There are two options for continuing the descent in the kingdom of darkness," Acasha's eyes now stared at Elea grimly.

Elea's brows were slightly raised, "continuing the descent by uniting the aura?"

Acasha nodded confirming, "combining the aura between a pure heir with someone who also has a dominant aura."

"Aura dominant?" elea asked confusedly.

"All heirs of the dark kingdom have a black aura that is very dominant, this aura is able to control the entire people without taking up arms. Acasha glanced at Carel who seemed to be sleeping in Elea's arms, and continued her words. "Not all aura owners have a dominant aura. Carel's mother is a princess of the human kingdom, she is not an heir but she has a dominant aura."

Elea looked at Carel with her senses, the baby boy who was now asleep in her arms seemed to be not distracted by what she was doing. "But I only found a black aura within Carel's body, does Carel's mother also have the same black aura as Grandmother?"

Elea was confused by not finding the slightest trace of the dominant aura of Carel's mother in Carel, wasn't the meaning of uniting the aura the combination of the two auras? If two auras merged into one shouldn't there remain two interlocking auras within Carel's body? But why was it only the dominant black aura that Elea discovered?

"No Lea, you'll never find the slightest hint of Vey's aura in Carel."

Elea stared at the confused Acasha, she waited for Acasha to continue.

"For the dark kingdom, the strongest leader is the leader who only has a dominant black aura within his body," Acasha returned Elea's gaze. "The unification of auras would result in a pure descendant with a dominant black aura, without any trace of another aura. While the natural process will produce offspring with two interlocked auras."

"But why does the process of aura unification make Carel not have the slightest aura of his mother?" ask Elea who still doesn't understand.

"Because the dominant black aura needs to eat another dominant aura to produce the strongest successor" Acasha continued.

"Because it has been consumed in the process of unification of the aura, then no more dominant aura left mother Carel?" elea asked again to confirm the theory that was spinning in her head.

"True, and again the owner of another dominant aura will definitely lose his life because his aura has been eaten away unceremoniously," Acasha let out a long sigh.

Elea was surprised to hear Acasha's explanation, she looked at Carel who was asleep, her tears falling without being able to be weathered. Elea's heart ached, for some reason she felt a sense of helplessness. Elea's black aura that had enveloped Acasha, now moved towards Carel, slowly began to infiltrate, turning like a thread that increasingly seemed related.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!"

Suddenly Carel was forcibly taken from Elea's arms, in a matter of seconds a burly hand strangled Elea's neck, cluttering the thread that Elea was making. Elea's body lifted and floated against the wall very hard. Elea tried to activate the aura to protect herself, fresh blood came out of her mouth, the wall behind her seemed to be almost collapsing, her body was like being torn apart. He tried to stand up, when a samba hand again broke through his protective layer and strangled his neck. Elea's body was cornered into the wall with a loud bang.

"WHO ARE YOU?! ANSWER ME!"
