The Trapped Princess

The Trapped Princess
Arion Ring

Alardo looked alert, he felt a strange premonition when he accidentally saw a brilliant light that shot out like a shooting star. By his side, Prince Elrick was filled with curiosity, his gaze fixed on the various directions as if looking for someone.

"Your Majesty, we need to be vigilant. I'm worried if this is a trap" Al signaled his visit.

"LUCKYOO!"

Suddenly the screams of a woman rang out loud, a veiled woman leaping from the darkness into the front of their horse, making Al and the Prince very surprised.

"Who are you?" al shouted without further ado as he brandished the sword in his hand, but before he got an answer, dozens of arrows shot towards them. Al prepares to pull his horse strap to protect the Prince, but to his surprise he found the foreign woman now activates a protective layer of dozens of arrows shot down to the ground after being unable to penetrate the protective layer he made.

"Your Majesty get out of here quickly, I can't hold it much longer" said the woman, standing before the Prince.

"How can we trust you? You could be a part of them!" alardo said loudly.

"Calm Al" said the Prince looking at Al calmly as if he was not disturbed by the whirring of arrows that still rained down on them.

The woman looked down her head, "please Your Majesty, the sooner the better. Let the servant overcome her," repeated the woman still with a sigh and lowered her head.

"I can't leave you alone in danger just for wanting to save me" the Prince said firmly. "If you choose to fight, I will also fight with you, because I am the one they are after, but if you tell me to leave then you must also come with me from here."

Elrick stared intently at the veiled woman who was still resting in front of his horse, he could not see the woman's face because he was wearing a black hooded shirt, as if his identity was deliberately hidden. But somehow there was not the slightest bit of suspicious feeling towards him, Elrick was surprised by himself, he could not see the aura of the woman clearly. The protective layer he made still stunned Elrick and realized that there was someone who could make it besides the royal family and the general Arion.

"All right, Your Majesty," the woman began to stand up and seemed to snap her fingers, as soon as a huge portal was created before them, the arrows still continued to dart nonstop making the protective layer increasingly thinning.

"Please enter Your Majesty, and sir. The protective layer is thinning, please hurry!"

The veiled woman first entered the portal, while the Prince now looked at the doubtful Alardo, "i trust him Al."

Alardo exhaled slightly violently, then began to pull the reins of his horse, following the Prince who entered the portal without hesitation.

Upon seeing Alardo enter, the veiled woman instantly closed the portal leaving a thinning protective layer.

"Stop!" yelling Alardo who rushed down from his horse, he put his sword to the woman's neck, to cut off some of the veil he was wearing.

"Al!" said the Prince who disagreed with Alardo's actions, The Prince got off his horse and approached towards them. "Al, he saved us, why are you putting a sword around his neck? This is not a proper attitude" the Prince rebuked Alardo firmly.

"Nor the Prince, but I still can't trust him completely!"

While the veiled woman looked very calm like unaffected by the sharp sword which was only a few inches from her smooth neck.

"Thank you for taking good care of the Prince" the veiled woman's voice melodious in the ears of Al and the Prince to make both of them silent. "This Master is right Your Majesty, Your Majesty should be on the lookout for all the people you meet, including me."

"Mara, the Lord and the Prince can call me Ara" said the woman without hesitation.

"Ara, a name I rarely meet." The prince seemed to smile towards Ara, "down your sword Al! I want to talk to Miss Ara without being disturbed by your sword!"

"But Your Majesty," said Alardo still disagreed, as he was about to continue his words, the tail of his eyes catching the arrival of the figure he was glorifying was approaching towards them.

"What happened to my son? Why are you here?"

The prince, Alardo and Ara instantly stared at the origin of the voice. Ara looked at the man in front of her, there was a feeling of tightness in her heart, she wanted to cry and hug the man like a child who missed the father, but she did not dare. Ara knew that the man in front of her was the same father as the one in Isabel's memory because he didn't age much. As Ara was busy looking at the gallant man before her, Al drew his sword and put it back into the sword sheath hanging on the left side of his body.

"Our respect Your Highness," cried the Prince and Al simultaneously while bowing, quickly Ara following the two saluting.

"What brings you to the old palace this late? What happens until Al puts a sword?" ask the King.

"Dad, we are just practicing the sword" the prince replied lyingly.

"really?" ask the King again but this time it seems the question is aimed at Alardo.

Al looked smiling and looked at the King, "really His Majesty."

The King seemed silent at Al's reply, but his eyes began to look at Ara, "and who is this Miss El? it seems like I just saw it."

Alardo and Elrick looked at him for a moment, and soon the Prince seemed to open his mouth to answer the father's question again. "He's Amara, father's new shadow warrior," the Prince said without hesitation.

The King, who heard his son's answer, seemed hesitant until he took a look at Ara's body with his sharp eyes. Ara until made it can not breathe because it is so tense.

"I'm sorry I didn't see Arion's ring in your hand, lady" the king said with a smile.

Prince El and Alardo followed the King's gaze and found a ring around Ara's ring finger. Al looked surprised by the eagle carving, a distinctive symbol of General Arion that he had known.

"So what's your relationship with Arion? Are you the shadow warrior chosen directly by him?" ask the King who seems interested.

Ara looked into the King's eyes, "the servant is General Arion's disciple, Your Majesty."

"What's? HAHAHAHA..." The king laughed loudly at Ara's reply. "I didn't expect that I would finally be able to meet with Arion's disciple today. Thank you for bringing yourself up in front of me, I know you must have been so great that Arion leased you as his only disciple, and it made me very curious. HAHAHAHA....."

Ara exhaled her long breath carefully so that no one would hear her, while Al and the Prince seemed to be observing her in silence.
